I just wanted to say that I bought the sand colored KRUSELL KALIX MOBILE CASE for my Xperia Mini Pro and it works great, looks great too!
At first it was a very tight fit but after stretching the leather some it isn't a problem anymore, fits like a glove but is still quite easy to remove from the case.
Holster
I've bought a couple of small mobile cases from Auto Zone that I thought were perfect for my x10 minipro. They have a front pocket for the phone with a velcro flap to hold it in and a small zipper pocket behind which I carry the headset and a spare battery. It's a perfect fit for the phone.
The only problem I have with the case is that it is very cheaply made and eventually the swivel for the belt clip wears out (which is why I've bought a couple of them). I'd love to find a similar case (but better built), but I haven't had any luck finding one.
I posted here because I ordered the new minipro last weekend, hopefully it will be here tomorrow or Friday.

Where did you get the case for Xperia Mini Pro. All the cases I find are for Xperia 10 Mini/pro - the previous version of the phone
I can confirm the quality of the Krusell case, as i have bought a leather one for my big X10 and willing to buy a similar for my xperia mini pro.
Just trying to find the right one...
@OP Can you send a link to where you bought this case, I can't seem to find it with my Googleskills
Sent from my Xperia Mini Pro using the Internet
I use photo camera case "Hama HardCase Carbon Style 60H Black" Its made of durable materials - ethylene vinyl acetate (EVA) for high protection, internal dimensions: 6.5 x 3 x 10.5 cm.
Very cool
I'm currently using my old cheap case bought for my x10 mini pro, but shopping around for a cigarette case. It's about the same size as a pack of smokes and I could stow the headset in the lighter pocket.

can you guys post some pics of your leather cases for the mini pro?
I just use a Golla pouch rather than a leather case... I prefer skulls..
If you do an image search for "Golla Smart Bag - TOMB" .. It Has a section for your headest or a spare battery or stuff to smoke or .. well whatever...

That looks identical to the one I bought - though I got mine from ebay (many traders sell the same thing on both Amazon and ebay in the UK).
It's fine - dirt cheap but doesn't look at all bad. It holds the phone reasonably well - not 100% clamped into place but it's not going to fall out. The cutaways are well placed - no problems with the speaker or camera and all buttons accessible. It doesn't affect the sliding action - it just grips the keyboard section and you slide the screen out when you want to type. It's firm but slim - no real padding - but it doesn't add too much bulk to the phone.
Minor niggle - the flap over the top covers the USB port so you have to have the case "unlocked" to use that. On the upside - it leaves the headphone socket clear.
Given the material it's made off, I suspect it won't last for very long before the "leather" cracks along the creases but for the money - it's still good value.
is there anything like a rather basic kind of leather protection (or similar) I can simply put my phone in and which also has a window to see the touchscreen (in order to see the time without having to get it out of the cover)? not talking about hard cases here.

I am looking for a good sport armband to keep my X10 while running. Looking for it, I found a couple of items that seems would fit well : a cheap chinese armband and the Nokia CP-402 ...My only doubt is: would it fit well???
What's your opinion about these items??
Anybody using a sport armband with X10??
If you check by dimensions, there's little room for error
Unless you are looking for a plastic molded holster, then any that fits an iphone will work. I was out looking for cases and whatnot and everyhting that fits the iphone, my x10 fit perfectly. Again unless it was a hard plastic mold type cases which obviously will not fit. WOnt be hard to find one if looking for one that fits an iphone, as there is a million an 1 accessories for the dumb iphone.
using one meant to have around neck but instead of that i tied it on my pants belt loop thing so if i happen to drop my phone it will stop at knee height, has saved my phone twice.

I thought it too. Maybe I was unlucky with the model, but I tried a PURE Arm Band that was made for Iphone and it was ABSOLUTELY impossible to fit the X10 in it! The aperture was just too little...
In any case I think I'll look for an Iphone Armband and hope that it fits well!
Thank you all!
I am looking for one too. Since the Pure didn't fit, I am quite anxious to buy one online. So a proven armband would be nice
Today arrived the Sport Armband I ordered from China trough Ebay (
Look for Gym Sport ArmBand Case Holder for Apple iPhone 3G 3GS).
The building quality is poor, but the materials seems, on the opposite, to be quite good. The X10 perfectly fits inside the pouch and, despite the top is open,I don't risk to loose my phone.
What more? It costed me only 2.99 bucks!

Sorry for the hated Iphone inside. After a long period using it I can confirm that it perfectly fits the device (despite being open on the top) and that it is great for running!

yes and you can close it at the top
Exactly!
As you saw it seems there are several versions of the same item, with few differences, sold by several sellers. The whole building quality is middle-low but I never had problems using it.
I preferred to buy the open one, since I was not sure it would fit with the closed top. Anyway, despite being open on the top, it is so tight that the X10 will never slip up!
I found some on ebay. Out of the few the list, there is one made by Motorola, and it's rated "Top-rated Seller."

Hi. I got it today. Here is a picture (sorry about the flash backfire).
It doesnt close at the top, but it doesn't have to: It fits fine, so I can hold it up-side-down and shake it. It doesn't fall out.
Also, there is a small pocket on the side where you can put away any extra headphone-cable. This was a nice feature. The quality looks overall OK.
Here is the not-so-OK-part: The plastic in front is stiff and lumpy, so the touch is kinda "so-so". Maybe this will get better after some use (maybe the plastic even out), but if you're planing on using the touchscreen alot while it's inside the case, this isn't the case for you.
I'm just gonna use it for music playback while jogging, so for me it's perfect! (7/10)
this is what i've been using. it's a tight fit but the material is stretchy and is able to fit the x10 securely. i bought it last summer for about $10-$15. it doesn't feature a headphone out opening but i use my mw600 bluetooth headphones so i don't need one. it has grip pads on the inside (not shown) to prevent it from sliding down your arm and an adjustable strap.
Hey,
I was actually thinking about buying one of these. Is there anyone here, who uses one and can give me a short review about the pros and cons? I'm just looking for some case, which doesn't add too much bulkness, but still protects the phone.
Cheers

I use some silicone case atm, but it feels very bulky and not that safe. As of now, it isn't hard to access the usb-port, but I dunno bout the alumor case though.
I've been using a Capdase Alumor case since I got my X10 so I can't compare with anything else, but I think it's a great case.
It adds a bit of weight (as you'd expect from an all metal/rubber case) but I like that because it makes the phone feel more solid. Phone's been dropped from '8 year old daughter' height, and survived with no damage to the phone and only a slight scrape on the back of the case.
It's fairly easy to get the phone in and out of the case if you need to, but there's no real need. All of the X10's buttons are covered with rubber, but they all work fine. You have unrestricted access to the USB socket. Access to the 3.5 mm jack socket is very slightly restricted because the rubber has a bevel around the hole for some reason (strength I guess), but this is only an issue if you have a really thick plastic bit on your headphone jacks (my Sennheiser CX300s fit fine )
I was concerned about the rubber coming away from the metal on one part of the case, but it's not got any worse since I got it, so I guess it's ok. Rubber seems to be holding up well to regular 'in and out of pocket' use.
All in all, I'd recommend this case (and no I don't work for Capdase ). I got mine from Mobilefun in the UK and they're great (no, I don't work for them either!). They seem very cheap in that link above - watch out for fakes!!!
EDIT: Oh, and no problem opening the USB plastic cap (no harder than it is anyway, that is)
That thing looks pretty thick !!
I dont know if u like your phone looking and feeling thick, bc i got this clear plastic case and it makes the phone feel really chunky in my hand and not to mention the metal casing in the ebay picture looks thicker then my plastic case. but the case looks good tho just letting u know u might not like the feel.
LOL , It's almost an Otterbox clone HA HA HA HA
How do you know if its fake? I'm currently using one.

No idea, but the cases in the link above are <$5 and the one I bought was ~£15.
Now, maybe I got screwed on price, but if they're that cheap it would make me suspicious.
At the end of the day, I guess it doesn't really matter as long as the case is good quality and protects the phone. If you get it for $5, then you're a winner
Allright I'll take a shot. We'll see where I buy it from, but still being aware of possible fakes I'll probably buy on Mobilefun. Well as for the bulk and phone feeling thick, I'll see that once it arrives, the weight doesn't matter to me as long as it's protected.
Review!

Sorry to bring up a fairly old topic, but I figured its still better than to make a new one.
Can anyone post some pictures of this case fitting on their x10?
All the images on the internet were just sample images, I could not tell how it looks like in real.
I'm looking to buy a white one to put on my black X10, really would like to know how that would look, thanks
Alumor pictures
I have had this case since 12/2010. The one piece aluminium case wraps the sides & bottom & is completely lined with rubber extending to include the retaining rim. The case goes on & off very easily. The seal is very tight on the phone. I carry the phone on construction jobs with alot of dust, but no damage to the phone. All buttons press easily & 3.5 jack, USB , speaker, camera lens all have cutouts.
I have had to superglue some of the rubber along the edges once but not since & the case back is more slick than the phone back, making it tough to palm, but with pinky finger practice (supporting bottom of phone) is easily overcome. The metal case is very durable & takes drops well. The case does add bulk but is minimal for the metal protection & still goes in&out of pocket well. I still use the phone both with and without the case.
I paid $25.11 US including shipping from Hong kong to Ohio, USA.

Thanks for the review and photos, I am sure you are the first to post the photos of the product in so many angles. It's helpful to some of us.
Capdase is actually one of some reliable companies here in SEA.
I am using their flip-top leather case, thinking of getting alumor metal whenever I want to travel light.
i bought this case last friday in hk for HKD 98 (ie USD 12.6002)
it's a great case but i felt a bit bulky
so i remove the backcover of x10
and my phone is as slim as before!!!
this morning i received the case, is very beautiful.
cool! looking forward to get one!
I agree with prior post. Remove the back cover for a thinner phone. Case is still tight also.

HI, I'm aware that this is the wrong sections, but XDA has far as I know does not have an "Xperia Pro" section and this was the best section I could picute the Xperia Pro being in.
I'm curious to see what kind of cases you Xperia Pro users have. Because i've searched around the net for a while now and couldn't find any "decent" cases, and began wondering why's that. Anybody know?
I am having a tough time finding a case as well. But WirelessWave had some that were branded GearZ for $20.

I am crrently using an old HTC's case meant for TyTnII. My Xperia Pro fits perfectly in it and i prefer the belt clip and its horizontal orientation. I also recently bought a new HTC leather case meant for Desire S. Its a bit tight on the sides but it will be fine i am sure after a bit of use. If you can find a case for Desire Z (HTC Desire with Keyboard) then i am sure that would be a perfect fit.
Hope this helps.

Hi there,
I spent long time finding a good case for xperia pro and the deal I've came to isn't that bad.
Since I don't like big and though case I bought this on ebay: Black Hard Mesh Coated Case Cover for Sony Ericsson Xperia Pro MK16i (sorry, I can't post link since I'm a noob here, just do a search and you'll find it or any similar sales).
It's cheap, quite efficient, protecting nicely the whole phone and doesn't ruin the sliding.
With a skinomi protection for the xperia (whole phone or only for the screen) my phone is ready to fight a bear
Until now it's perfect, no scratches on the screen and I dropped off my phone many times without encountering any issues
This morning I took delivery of Sony's genuine leather case for the Tablet S and I wanted to share my impressions of it. I have previously brought 2 cases for my tablet from Ebay.
The first I did not like as it had a wraparound clip which kept getting in the way each time I opened the case (stopping you from laying the tablet flat). The second was ok. Fake leather but the tablet fitted into it in such a way that it framed the screen which made swiping difficult (try opening dolphin browser favourites if you cannot get to the far side of the screen!)
The Official Sony case retails in the UK for £70. There was no way I wold pay that for a case but I found an exporter in Japan selling it for £20.
It arrived this morning in a Sony box and is the genuine article. But what a disappointment!
Firstly, it is (IMO) fiddly to fit the tablet into the case, requiring (supplied) velcro and adhesive pads. This will make removing the tablet from the case so it can go in and out of a cradle dock difficult.
Secondly, the front flap of the case is designed to fit snugly but takes away the opportunity to have an inbuilt magnetic catch that will keep the case shut. If you pick up the tablet the wrong way, the flap of the case just falls open.
Thirdly (and this really annoys me) you cannot plug the tablet charger into the tablet and then close the case. You have to leave the case open.
The case looks nice enough, particularly when it is closed the flap fitted snugly and with the Sony logo embossed on the front. But it is a bad design. If I had paid £70 for this I would be very unhappy indeed.
Others might think differently and we are all entitled to an opinion. I thought I would share mine in case anyone is thinking of ordering one at the vastly inflated Sony price.
Saved me some money

Sony do make some beautiful equipment, i have a house full of their stuff, but, when it comes to 'extras' they charge the earth, which I feel is totaly unfair of them.
No car charger for the Sony S tablet, the mains charger is £29+, I also have a Sony TV, that has internet facility, but, the Sony dongle for it is £70, whereas, the 'normal' dongle price is nearer £12, and no, you can't use a standard one, it dosen't work, Sony have made that impossibel, by, having written some software in their dongle, that has to be read before it works on the Sony equipment it's connected to, i.e. my Sony TV!!
And, various other (Sony) bits, that only work with the dedicated Sony 'extra', ......... Sony is pretty expensive stuff anyway, and, I like their gear very much, but, it puts you off a bit, knowing you'll be ripped of when you want that accessory!
My opinion of course ....................

Hello Everyone,
I bought Sony Xperia Tablet Z few months ago. I was using official sony cover which came with the tablet. After 3 months of usage I found out that the screen has scratches where it is always protected by the cover itself. Therefore I gave it to sony and they replaced it with a new tablet. However, I cannot use the cover now and therefore I need a new one.
I am looking for a flip cover where I can charge my tablet without opening the cover.
Please suggest one. I am located in India.
I have used MoKo(TM) Slim Cover Case for Sony Xperia Tablet Z 10.1 inch. You can buy it in Amazon. I live in Norway and Amazon doas not post it to Europe, so ordered it from Aliexpress fro China.
BTW. After I received Moko Slim Cover, I have modified my original Sony cover the same way by cutting small window 50x22 mm, 25 mm fom the edge.
I bought a poetic slim case from Amazon. Works great! there is an opening in the cover to plug the cable in while the cover is closed.

Poetic slim will damage LCD, I stopped using it and had to return my previous xperia tablet z because of pixel damage. The tablet is so flexible that removing device from the case puts a lot, too much pressure on the LCD.
I then bought the sony case and I prefer it. Haven't had any scratches from using it, its smooth on the inside. I kept the built factory applied screen protector on the tablet

Sony case is good. Only applies presurre from the left and right side of the screen landscape. You can remove tablet just by sliding it in and out (as opposed to having to bend your tablet, lol) it also provides a bevel for shock protection and can be used with the charging cradle.
The poetic slim feels nicer and i would recommend this case if you plan on never removing your tablet againand never dropping your tablet or if you do not plan on using the charging cradle. I use the cradle because I think overtime waterproof feature will be better maintained and I have read reports of the USB connector breaking off. Want to save that connector for delicate flashing use only
