Awesome Alternative NC Tablet Launcher - V VTL.Launcher

Hey guys, I installed this on my NookColor (eMMC CM7 Stable), and it is freaking sweet!! A must try, this is my default daily driver launcher, here is the link to the .apk that you can check out, link: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1017451 and below are a couple of screen shots from my NookColor, cheers!
Interesting ill check it out. Im pretty partial to zeam right now.

I like zeam launcher too, but I figure I give this one a whirl, so far it's been working out really well. My favorite features is that you can display shortcut icons from the side.
I've been using this launcher as my daily driver for about 2 weeks now. I absolutely love it. It should be standard with CM7 w/tablet tweaks. I especially like the scrolling bar. No matter which screen I end up at when I press the home button, all of my "go to" apps are right there. It increases screen real estate for your widgets also. Great Launcher!

I just linked to the first topic for VTL in the Nook color forum, yes it was posted in the global android forum three days before the Nook Color forum.
Yes, VTL launcher is really nice on the 7'' screen here, even though it was made for the G-Tablet.
I'm not a fan of the side panels though. Feels a bit too crowded.

Taskbar staining screen?

I've noticed that when going fullscreen in dolphin browser (taskbar is hidden) there is a stain of icons and clock along the top where the taskbar usually is.
Anyone else got this issue?

How could he search for burn in if they dont know what it is ^.^
Is it only when going fullscreen in dolphin? or if you put say a pure white image up does it remain? If it is still there on other apps/pictures then it will be burn in and have a look at the tread linked.
If not it could be an issue with your rom and that browser.

Pure white shows it (easiest way is fullscreen in Dolphin Browser).
Looks as if there is no fix
Luckily the S3 is on the way, would have gone for the HTC One X but it lacks a microSD slot.

App Request TW Launcher for AOKP

Is it possible for someone to make a modified version of the TW launcher that will work with AOKP? I'd just like the app drawer icon to be the ICS circle with dots. I found the link below in searching, but it has the default home page set to 1 with no option to change it, and the app drawer icon isn't themed. I'm using it for now though, because i have no idea how i could change it. Anyone who wants to use this one without having it modded go ahead. Lol Thanks in advance to anyone who can do it or any advice!

You can change the app drawer icon in Nova (and Apex, I think) - you can probably make them look mostly like Touchwiz if you want.

Uhhh maybe look like 3 or 4 posts below yours? It couldnt have been that hard to miss the "Galaxy S3 Launcher" in the thread title could it?
You have to take up customizing the App Drawer button with Samsung though.

clock: Advanced Clock Widget
calendar: Simple Calendar Widget
calendar (on home screen): Minimalistic Text
the shortcuts: Simple Text
data counter: 3g watchdog (paid version)
battery: circle battery widget
Its really hard for me to explain to you how i achieved it. I really spent alot of time figuring out whats this and that. I would recommend you try to youtube it if possible. otherwise i would be writing an essay explaining how to use the app.

the circle battery widget doesnt show how much time left till full charge or what. it just charges and the number goes up. ex. 45,46,47,48...
and you can just set what ever color you want depending on what you consider is "normal" "warning" "critical" "charging" and "charged"
the attached file shows what it looks like with the hollow circle and full circle

yea basically what he said.
add(press and hold on the homescreen) > shortcut > simple text
or
add > widget > actions > shortcut
it took me a while to figure out the coordinate so that the words lies ontop of the line.
i think x-coor=0 and y-coor=110. text size was 40.
and dont auto scale it ruins the word. ;l

Exactly. I don't want to wade through my sea of icons to find my battery life. I also don't want to have a graphical battery icon and a percentage taking up two spots....
Pictures like that of the mobilesyrup review seem to show a newly released device that's [most likely] not rooted. Does the LTE SGS3 have some different ROM on it with that battery icon included?
