[Q] Update to HBOOT 1.50?

Okay, so i was previously on HBOOT 1.50 with an htc unlock, however thanks to XDA Member Unknownforce i am now back to HBOOT 1.40 with Revolutionary S-Off, if i ran the latest RUU 2.17.651.5 or PG86IMG file with hboot 1.50.nbo will i then be on 1.5 with s-off or ...
Dont do the official update I am on RUU 2.17.651.5 with Hboot 1.4 S-off after doing the upgrade.
There is a thread on here that has the updates you need to keep you off of hboot 1.5
freeza's all in one firmware update

[Q] DownGrade w/S-Off an 1.5 Relocked

MY 3d says RELOCKED with s-OFF and HBOOT 1.50 Radio 0.97.10.0000.
How can i downgrade?
DO NOT use the method in my thread for the downgrade, bricking your phone with S-OFF will be permanent.
The good news is, you're already S-OFF, which means You can flash any PG86IMG.zip file. So if you want the HBOOT to be unlocked, you can flash the ENG hboot. If you want revolutionary hboot you can flash the 1.13 RUU and/or the 1.40 hboot and then do revolutionary.
See the thread below for the ENG Hboot and/or the 1.40 hboot. Rename it to PG86IMG.zip instead of whatever it is and flash from bootloader.

[Q] Full root with 1.50 Hboot? Anyone?

Has anyone achieved this? I think I just did accidentally.
Right now I'm in a custom recovery (teamwin) with 1.50 Hboot S-OFF.
Well, you can still get full root with Hboot 1.50 even through HTCDev method.
What you can't get is S-Off. You can still be on HBOOT 1.50 with S-Off if you updated to HBOOT 1.50 from 1.40 while you were S-Off.
Even then, there's still a downgrade for HBOOT 1.50 users.
What you probably did was updated from hboot 1.30 or 1.40 with s-off to 1.50 and kept the S-Off like you should have.

You either had s-off to begin with, oryou had s-off to begin with. You're good to go, no need to downgrade the bootloader unless you want eng hboot. 1.5 means nothing, s-on is the problem. But you're s-off.

HBOOT after S-Off

After successfully downgrading my HBOOT to 1.12 and achieving s-off, is there any advantage functionally in flashing HBOOT 1.15 or 1.19
since you will still be s-off, is there a difference.

It would be a good idea to flash the lazy panda hboot found here http://www.unlimited.io/lazypanda.htm as far as the other hboots I'm not sure I have not tried but as long as you update your firmware bits you will be up to date
No real reason to update your hboot once you're s-off...except for the lazy panda hboot the previous poster mentioned. It allows fastboot commands, but it's not required to complete s-off.
