i was impressed by the music player on Samsung Galaxy R(android 2.3.6)
and i've tried to install that player on my Xperia mini
but it failed
i extracted the music player from Samsung Galaxy R
could someone teach me to install it?
i thought there must be some modifications on that apk
could someone help me edit it to work?

It maybe possible by changing device details in a system file. I don't remember the name of that file. You need root though and Root Explorer.

ya Galaxy series have a nice music player(better than Xperia Mini). It would be nice to get a port.
It requires the TouchWiz framework, So unless someone was to port a complete Rom, it wont work
Out of curiosity, Why Samsungs music player? I had a Galaxy Ace before my Live and I absolutely hated the music player. It's a resource hog and constantly crashes, its not nice :L

Oh,it might be a complicated work....
Well I like the EQ in the player
And it never crashes
Maybe there are some bugs fixed in 2.3.6

Hi I don't have a note but I have a galaxy player 5.0 and the screen sizes are super close and I was wondering if someone would be awesome enough to port the s-apps like s-note so I can install to data instead of system fo my player.

As the topic says, so is it possible to extract the music apk.
I saw the S3 has enhanced its Music player too with the touchwiz..
I don't think so. It'll probably be dependant on the touchwiz framework.

Changing ROM won't have a if effect on your speakers. Try winamp or apollo player, use the equaliser and tune it to your liking. Nothing else you can do.
