G-tablet with flashback installed
Recently the tablet shuts down after inactivity instead of just sleep. Sometimes after. Only 5 minutes or so
Cannot figure out how to change
Also I was never able to download flash from the marketplace. It is listed as downloaded but not installed
Tips/pointers /RTFMs appreciated

I have a Transformer Prime and I decided to flash CM9. I installed CWM via Rom Manager. This was my first time flashing with my prime but I have flashed many times with my droid 1 so I'm not completely new to this. Wiped data, flashed CM9 and then flashed google apps on top of that. This created a bootloop for whatever reason which I fixed using adb. (First time ever using adb). CM9 booted up fine but when it goes to ask for my account info during first bootup, the wifi wont turn on. It says "Turning wifi on" but never does anything. Let it sit for half an hour and nothing. Decided to skip that thinking it might work when everything is booted up. Suffice to say, doesn't work. Says MAC address unavailable. Bluetooth wont turn on either. Can't browse files at all due to no file manager app. Rom manager is installed but says CWM is no longer installed. Can boot into fastboot only but not CWM. Can't reinstall CM9 or stock ROM due to no CWM. Anyone know how I can fix this? I would just like to get the wifi on or get back to stock if that is necessary. Any help would be appreciated.
EDIT: Correction, am now able to enter CWM, going to wipe and reflash.
EDIT2: Solved the issue. Figures, after 5 hours of trying to figure it out and then posting, I fix the issue in 10 minutes. Sorry for the post.
Glad you made it.
Thank you for getting through this either alone or through search. Also, thank you for sharing how you solved it. Can i also thank you again for editing the title of the thread to include a [SOLVED] tag?
Hi to everyone..well..as the title says my phone keeps freezing after seconds it boots. i was on PA v3.6 and decided to flash the newest release so i did.. after that it's been only problems. i did the wipes, but it constantly freezes.. so i decided to go back to stock and try again.. so i did with odin, but it keeps freezing even when the first settings pops out. i don't even install any apps. it just freeze, even if i reboot the phone and leave it to deep sleep i find myself with the same problem. i've been flashing custom roms since i bought the galaxy s1 and i never had any problems. i tried the dummy file thing but it keeps happening. does anybody knows how can i fix this?
Freezing is usually the memory controller working around bad memory blocks. Try reading the 'unusual freezing' thread in the general forum.
Ok. My wifi is rebooting the HDX whenever I turn it on. Be it the stock rom or the Rom Slot 1 with the almost AOSP rom.
I was reading using an app in the AOSP rom. I turned the wifi off. And started reading. I turned the kindle off couple hours later.
Now wifi won't come on and is causing a reboot on either Stock or Rom Slot 1.
What's the procedure. I'm trying to be very careful as to what I do. I have clean backups of my stock rom as soon as I got it out the box and rom slot one as soon as I installed it. Just in case tha thelps.
Any assistance is welcomed.
6 Minutes later....
I went into stock rom and turn off airplane mode and it automatically connected to wifi.
I re enabled airplane mode just in case/ (Fear of update)
I went back into rom slot 1. And tried to turn on wifi it rebooted.
I went back into rom slot 1 and turn on and off airplane mode. and turned on and off bluetooth(mistake as it's right under wifi) then I turned on wifi. And it worked...:/ idk....
An another note...Since I don't have enough posts to post in the AOSP thread, Can anyone direct me to a working version of the Amazon App Store that installs on the AOSP rom with the amazon Services removed? Or is that not possible.
5 minutes later..
Sorry again. I just need to take my time...I loaded an old Amazon APK and it works nicely. Just in case anyone else needed help.

I ran into the wifi reboots myself.
the wireless status has to match between the stock rom and the rom slot or it causes reboots.
you pretty much have to get it enabled in the stock slot and then enable it in the rom slot.
sometimes this takes some bouncing back and forth and unexpected reboots.

Since last Amazon update my wifi stops working. Icon showed connection with X through it. Constantly have to turn and off .... was normal before update seven days ago..
I've got a Galaxy Tab 10.1 wifi and installed cyanogen mod on it. It worked fine for quite a while but now it's rebooting after using it for about 30 seconds. I've tried reinstalling the cyanogen mod version I was using and also installing other version but keep seeing the same behavior. Any ideas what I can do? Can I check certain log files to see what is causing the reboot?
Long story short, obtained said device from somewhere and decided to experiment on it, and to survey the modding scene a bit while at it. Yeesh. What happened after that, in summary:
Found XDA. Then found after_silence's roms. Downloaded them.
In the process, I learned how to setup adb and how to make Windows recognize this outdated device's drivers. Now I can do these with my eyes closed.
Flashed TWRP 2.3.2.3. Installed as's first mod with gapps package. But something was wrong, google apps showed only stupid ad-like results after every search. Wiped it and continued searching for other mods. Stumbled upon this. Downloaded the latest one. Flashed it. When I tried to install the gapps package there, twrp said not enough storage to install gapps package. I learned how to use gapps-config file. To no avail. Experimented with each one, including the aokp ones. They were stable, but main menu was like 5 fps. And most of the time, google play stopped. Clock stopped. Trebuchet stopped. Even if nothing stopped, something stopped, sooner or later.
At last, I installed these: cm11 20140419 and gapps lp 20141109. Google continued to show stupid results. Uninstalled google play updates, restarted, it updated itself. Now, all seems stable enough, only with the never before seen, ridiculously stupid glitch of all:
The device restarts if it goes to sleep. Yeah, the screen dims, dims... and restart. Pressing power button once directly reboots the device. There's no sleep - either the screen stays on until the battery drains, or restarts.
At this point I can gladly get on my knees to beg someone for a solution, or for someone to please tell me, "here, these are the latest and HASSLE-FREE android 5.x rom and suitable gapps package".
Please.

Hi @VerpinZal,
I installed that CM11 version as well, but without gapps (using F-Droid instead).
Cannot reproduce the restart instead of sleep. Screen dims, turns off ... and turns on again w/o any restart.
Cheers!
Edit:
After factory reset @ cwm recovery I was able to flash CM12.1 w/o any issues as well.
Instead of gapps I installed f-droid and aurora store.
A Logitech diNovo Mini helps me to overcome the broken touch function. It connects automatically to the Mediapad via BT after booting up.
