i searched on google and found apps but that are using wifi not USB or bluetooth

Extremely sorry to revive this old thread, but didn't want to create a new one. I want to use my Ace as a webcam with Yahoo messenger. IP webcam works fine with gtalk but when i tried it on yahoo messenger, messenger crashed. Tried again with the same result. Anybody has any better alternatives? Thank you.
Ipwebcam works gr8 for me use it a lot

I'm using SPB TV 2 which is a great streaming TV application. Congrats to SPB Software.
But... It doesn't stream any data via WIFI - only 3g,
do you use this application and does wifi work with your i5800 JPA ?

Hi i use the same app but threw wifi.i saw on market two versions on spb tv(one wich i have connects u threw wifi and 3gsptv wich connects u threw 3g)

unfortunately it doesn't helped... I can run TV only on 3G not with WiFi ??? weird..

Had this issue before, not anymore....nothing wrong with SPB TV...it's the router, add your phone's IP in your router's DMZ....it should work....

I know that you can use an app called IP Cam to use your phone as a camera for your pc, but is their an app/way to use yout phone as the pc microphone?
I think its a driver issue and probably not.....when you use the phone as a webcam it has no sound
I might be wrong....can someone confirm?

i only found this mobiola-headset allows recording of Skype and other calls and transforms your iPhone and iPod Touch into a PC or Mac headset but yet it is only for idevices ...

Is there any app for andriod (2.3 or below) that allow communication between 2 andriod device via WiFi or Bluetooth which work without GPRS /internet or if even using internet , it must be easy to configure..
like telnet of PC.
like if some one is in office /college and he is in range of wifi of his mate then could communicte ..
plz do share app name if u found One.

Won't work, get connectify and install on your computer/laptop, it should have wifi.
Connectify gives you multiple options to connect, avoid adhoc ones. Choose the last option.

You should be rooted and have iptables for it to work.. Maybe something is missing there? Try searching for how to reverse tether you will find many guides with manual steps to take (via shell), my advice would be to go through them and see what's not working for you there and that would probably be the case the app is failing.

I have tested out droidcam about 5 different times on my Skype account. I have noticed a slight delay using it over wifi, and also connection drops. I have been using it through USB lately and no connection drops and the delay is not very noticeable at all
