where should I copy the wallpapers? I copied the images to the pictures folder but when i go to gallery i can't find anything.
Also, is it possible to remove the other pages on homescreen that are empty? eg. homescreen with only 1 page and won't be able to scroll left/right
okay the pictures appeared in the gallery now. no idea why.
still wondering how to remove the empty pages on the homescreen though.

I was able to move these locked apps/icons which appear on all home screens on my SGS1, and now on the SGS2, when i try and edit the home screen(s), the phone wont let me change these.
Ive downloaded Handscent SMS which i want to use to completely replace the default messages app, so in a root explorer program just renamed the Mms.apk application to a ,bak, in doing that, it removed the messages icon from this locked menu so now i can only see PHONE/CONTACTS/APPLICATION icons and still cant add or edit anything...can someone help with this? Just wanna throw the HANDSCENT SMS icon in there...

If you're talking about the four bottom icons with the app drawer icon at the far right then you can change it quite easily. Just open the app drawer, hit menu then edit. You can drag and move whatever you'd like to the bottom area. Home/Applications must stay though.
Is there any way of changing the icons, renanming them or just pointing the existing icon to another application?
I am trying to keep the stock messaging icon but open Go SMS Pro with it instead?
TIA
I was wondering if it is possible to put shortcuts to specific albums in the stock honeycomb gallery on the homescreen? I know I can use the picture frames but I was wondering if there were any other options.
I like the speed and functionality of the stock Gallery app, but I hate the lack of options. Someone should make a sweet widget for albums that is basically a whole page on the homescreen.
I was wondering if there was a way to link to standard go launcher folders to save the need for a separate folder app. So far I cant find them when I try to put a shortcut to them in programs like swipepad.
I'm looking into the answer too. I want to add a go shortcut to show app drawer in swipepad.
anyone know how?
I'm running Omega ICS and using Go Launcher.
Want to save the custom wallpaper on my Lockscreen as a jpg or png file, but do not know where it is stored. Any idea?
Else I could save it if anyone knows an app/util that will save the existing Lockscreen Wallpaper? I have used the app Wallpaper Set and Save to save the Home Screen wallpaper, but cannot find a similar util for Lockscreen.
Thank you!

You mean you need the stock wallpapers??
It's mostly in the form of an app. Take a look in system/app. Might be called TWWallpapers.apk (not sure about the name though).

Thank you for the suggestion
I'm actually trying to either (a) extract the file for my existing lockscreen wallpaper (which is a family photo) or (b) dig into my nandroid backup to retrieve the lockscreen wallpaper.
For either (a) or (b), just knowing the exact location of the wallpaper would be perfect. [[ I'm running Omega v13 and using Go Launcher. Not sure if the launcher impacts the location of the lockscreen wallpaper. ]]
Or for (a) having an app similar to Wallpaper Set and Save that would save my existing lockscreen wallpaper to a jpg or png would be equally useful.
Thanks again for trying to help
Did you ever figure this out?
Hi,
anyone found location of actual lockcscreen wallpaper. image? My SD card got damaged, so I lost all my photos in gallery, and trying to save my photo set as lockscreen wallpaper.
Thanks
so, have a few folders on the homescreen and 1 is rather full. is there a way to stop the folder from opening in a small window and instead a larger one so i dont have to scroll for the app i want?
anyone?
