I don't know if you guys have noticed, but there are a few ROM developers whom are young teens! For example the Fresh Salsa and Chip 'n Salsa ROMs were created by an 18 and 13 year old respectively.
These guys are doing great on their own! I wish they wouldn't under estimate there capabilities and get boggled down by eager HTC Aria ROM leachers (like my self).
Seriously guys keep up the great work and don't waste your skills/life in WoW! Go to MIT or something! hahaha...

I believe cotulla is working on it. although there is no ETA & he is busy working on android too, so it may take a lot of time. you can see wp7 booting on hd2 here
but remember, getting it to boot is totally different from getting it to work.

Who knows, windows mobile 7 may not be the next big thing. They have certainly raised the expectations so high, hard to see these fulfilled. Lets keep the fingers crossed and wait for the xda team to weave their magic

Same here. I think it's gonna be awesome, but maybe that's just because of all the hype...

Windows only wants a piece of cake too. But my opinion is that android is the best and will be the best in future.. ;-)

As current roms stand there are no AOSP roms out at the moment . But also bare in mind root status is still very new , if anything still in its infancy . Give it time and before you know it AOSP will be ready for flashing . I know cyanogenmod was ported to the Sensation already , so I dont think EVO3D will be to far off from that . Some Devs have had roms on standby waiting for root to hit but never had a device to test stability on (even though there were s-off devices running around in the wild) . Like I said give it more time , heck the development thread has already started up with kernal threads and rom threads . The fun is just now begining so kick back and enjoy the ride
I'm not trying to be rude but there's a fee threads on this already.
But yeah first I heard it would be ported and cyanogen wouldn't officially support it then I heard that toastch is working on it. So I can't wait either.

That was my entertainment everyday until we got S-OFF and root.
Looks like there is a tie for the most stable Android release (for apps anyway), between 2.3.1 and 3.2.

Lol I didn't even read the article, just looked at the pie chart... I assumed this was just another persons way of saying the Android is better than iOS.
Sorry but I cant believe that. Motorola alone would probably outweigh all other Android manufacturers and all iPhones combined in crash count.

So in a world where companies and lay people alike are completely brainwashed into thinking iOS is the most amazing thing since sliced bread and NEVER has problems like crashing apps or any other problem for that matter, you don't consider this relevant?
If you were considering a tablet or smartphone OS and just wanted something stable without cheer-leading any particular company, you wouldn't consider this relevant information?

Shouldn't you be starting new threads with zero pertinent or relevant info somewhere, preferably not in this forum anymore?
Was denied my application for developer tag. That's fine. I understand. This isn't me complaining that I got denied. But more of a point that they are being more selective about them which is a good thing. I'm one of the people here that have seen that tag be given out so easily. Sure I havent released anything for the shooter yet. But I have made 4 quality roms on the Hero. 3 of which I compiled CM on my own machine. In the old standards I would have had it no problem. I applied after the committee cracked down. I'm no development wizard by any means. I do what I can with what I've got. Everyday I'm learning more and more which is the excitement Im addicted to. Love to see changes I make work.
My point to this is simple though. You don't "need" the developers tag to be a developer. Just do it. It's just a title. Dont be discouraged by it. If your even dabbling in making anything keep up the efforts. Every user here appreciates anyone's work that your kind enough to share.
Please don't start bashing the committee or XDA in general. This was meant as a positive position on the crackdown.

I've created a rom which has 3000+ comments and 582000 views and i have the senior tag, still i don't really care much about the tag. Does a developer tag make you a better DEV? No
So therefore even if i am stuck with the senior tag i wont complain (and i have never complained about it) cuz i dont consider it necessary

We are mutually beneficial to each other. I've been slacking the development work lately due to classes and my girlfriend. At least she is in my programming classes too and understands my love of development.
How's that ETA app coming along? I've been working on programs for my intermediate Java class where I'm dreaming code.
Oh I got accepted into the Computer Game Design major! One of the harder majors to get into and the most course intensive as well.

Well we've had the ICS source for other carriers, which is the same as tmo anyways, so yeah, that kinda says a lot, guess you didn't see that in the dev fora on the kernel dev threads.

Common misunderstanding we don't need full source because we can fake the kernel version to use the stock modules so it doesn't really matter

So out of boredom I found myself in the Sensation part of XDA, and wow that forum is dominating the Amaze by a good mile. Tons of Roms and seems that mostly everything is working as well.
So does the Sensation have full source for all roms? Even have CM support? What gives....
Feels like I may have made a mistake spending $275 for this phone even though it was new....

Your so very confused.... development doesn't make the phone the amaze is a great piece of hardware performs much better then the sensation and no HTC provides no source for roms

ha ive had this phone since late november lol, ive had to deal with this almost dead development for about a year. although right now its better than how it was in october-march
