So Hi,
My Problem with the Android Game "Third Blade" is that you must pay for "Runes" (Real Money) .Without that "Runes" you cannot play the harder Level you can buy them with ingame money but thats hard very hard;
My Question is , do someone have a Hack or a Trick to get like the IPhone app unlimited or Much Gold?If it give something for my Problem! I use the Version V1.02
Thanks
Never played so I have not tried it out but check out GameCIH2 from the market
Sent from my PG06100 using xda premium
I think you need Gold in game, not Runes...
Gold can buy ATK+XX and DEF+XX, if your Gold very higher,
The game will be easy..
So Guys the game is the typical "Free Game" You can POlay without Hack/without paing real money so you need years -> or You cheat and have fun !
Gold can buy Runes -Runes you need for Skills -Skills you need to fight -fight you need for Gold _:S
GameCIH2 don´t Agree with this game :S
1) Download & install hexEditor;
2) Make sure the game is closed, open by hexEditor "/data/data/com.com2us.thirdblade.../(first folder)/hero_0.dat";
3) Edit from 00000040 to 00000047 by changing everything to 00;
e.g. you have line in hexEditor: 00000040|2f|4e|12|0a|43|09|66
change it to: 00000040|00|00|00|00|00|00
4)Save the file;
So i never found hero_0.dat so i writed it into hexeditor ... then hexeditor say: The File is using "in german"
I got 1,199,696,060 Gold! Thanks man!

Try via rootExplorer to enter "/data/data/com.com2us.thirdblade.../(first folder)/";
You should see hero_0.dat there;
If there's no "data" folder in "data" -- make system r/w (the button at the top on rootExplorer) and then try to modificate "/data/data/com.com2us.thirdblade.../(first folder)/hero_0.dat" via hexEditor;
P.S.
Note: hexEditor should be granted root (by superuser or whatever)
Thanks got 99.999.999 gold thanks )

Make sure hexEditor is granted root and /data is in r/w.
The first can be checked by superuser app.
The second by remounting system with app(like rootExplorer (top button in app) or file Expert (in settings) ) or in adb\terminal.
The other way:
1) You may copy hero_0.dat from "/data/data/com.com2us.thirdblade.../(first folder)/" to sdcard;
2) Modify hero_0.dat by hexEditor;
3) Replace hero_0.dat at "/data/data/com.com2us.thirdblade.../(first folder)/";
Or:
You may upload hero_0.dat here, i'll modify it;

The money hex string adress is 00000040-00000047 if i'm not mistaken, so you have to modify from 40 to 47;
If you see only 00000046 click on some square right from this adress. A window will appear. You should see the current hex value of adress you clicked at OK, cancel buttons and two arrows for navigation. So if you are at adress 00000046 navigate to 00000040 by clicking left-arrow button 6 times.
P.S.
Would be much easier if you'll share screenshot.
Just want to throw my 2 cents in about this!
So I followed the excellent directions to edit for gold as listed by warted (you rock, period) and after doing so I started a new game and flew through the first level. Upon completion of the first area I only had 540 gold so I backed out to the main menu then hit resume game and POOF, mega money.
So if anyone tries this and it doesn't seem to work just back out and then resume after a new game. Might even work on previous saves.
Hi , could you upload a .dat file modified for this gold hack ty
umm i did find the hero.dat file but i couldnt understand wut to do in the hex editor could edit my file for me pls q.q really appreciate it.

Ok, So the very helpful and talented people(hope to be one someday) here in the Themes and Apps section have decided to put together a little learning annex for those that wish to learn.
So in this class we will learn how to put together our own bootanimation.
(There will be no request taking in this thread,none (I have a thread for that and I will still add to and take request in). I will Help if you have problems only and if your a grammer and puctuation and probably spelling nazi PISS OFF )
For starters we need a few supplies for this class(i will link as many as i can)
1) a movie editing program(i use windows live movie maker)
2) Gimp (press for dl link) or photshop(if using gimp i would dl David's batch processor as well)
3) Irfanview for extracting to individual frames
4) Notepad++ for make the desc
5) 7zip for zipping our animation
6)Bootanimtion previewer (by despotovski01 ) pretty cool it also plays sound as well
CHARPTER 1
so to start we need a clip(youtube is full of'em). after we find and save the clip we want to use, we open it in the movie editing program and we need to edit it so that it runs the way we would like it to, and sometimes we may need to edit for lenght(i stay under 40 seconds).
Ok now we have it running the way we want and it's at the perfect lenght now we save it. OK we have it all saved and sitting in a nice new folder,now we open Irfanview and we open the file we have saved and then we press options and then extract all frame[/IMG]
Uploaded with ImageShack.us[/IMG] make a new folder and save
(i do it this way cause after its done all frames are numbered as well as extracted)
Now that we have all the frames extracted we move on to editing the frames(i use PS to remove the boarders cause it has an easier batch crop) but not everyone has photoshop, so we'll do it the gimp way. Depending on the amount of frames your clip has this may take awhile, so open up a few frames and go to image and press auto crop( after the first frame you can press ctrl f to repeat for every frame }boom boarder gone!)so we have all the frames boarderless now we open David's Batch Processer(this will resize,rotate (if you want landscape)and save frames as jpeg or png[/IMG]
Uploaded with ImageShack.us[/IMG] so first thing we do is press input and pick our boarderless frames,then turn if you want it in landscape(skip if you dont),next is resize [/IMG]
Uploaded with ImageShack.us[/IMG]as you can see check the ones in red, and as for size I use half the screen size(evo 3d 540x960=270x480. can be changed for other phones),next is the rename, here i like to create a new folder inside the folder that holds the frames we are using, and last is the saved image type(must open or it will save all frames as bmp) i like to save as jpeg because it helps keep the file size down, but you can use png.
Now we have all the frames edited so when we go into the folder it will be filled with the original frames and the folder we created with all the edited frames we are going to use,open the folder we created in David's Batch, now we have to make the folders that hold all the frames for the bootanimation(my rule is no more than 200 frames per folder) so look at your frame count and add new folders accordingly as we create those folders we need to name them I'm a fan of Part0,Part1 etc...
Ok we now have all the frames in their cozy little folders with pretty names, correct?
Now we'll add the desc this is where Notepad++ comes into play for this little project. Now you can do this two ways (1) you can use one from another bootanimation and edit it or (2) you can just write your own(we're going with opition B) So open Notepad++, in line 1 we write the size to be played at(again evo 3d 540x960) next is the speed (depends?) press enter, then we put P(lower case,i think thats for play) the 1(for play through once) then 0(no pause) press enter and we do that for every folder(note* if you want the last folder to loop you would write p 0 0 Part__){that first 0 is what makes the folder loop until phone boot up} NOW after we have a line for every folder we press enter(Thats a must)[/IMG]
Uploaded with ImageShack.us[/IMG] and when its all wrote up save it and copy it to our animation folder so it should look like this. *Example*[/IMG]
Uploaded with ImageShack.us[/IMG]
Now you will want to zip it up so open 7zip and go to your animation folder highlight all inside and press add [/IMG]
Uploaded with ImageShack.us[/IMG] and it will open a pop box like the "Example". Name your file Sprint_bootanimtion(it will add the zip part when saving) and in compression level set it to store(major cause of the black screen if not done) and press enter. now you can run your newly make bootanimation in the previewer mentioned above or you can use root explorer (or es file explorer)to install, either way moving along.
have a few things to do will finish this up a little later
ok so now you have a killer custom made bootanimation made by you and you want sound maybe?
To get sound(on most sense based roms) you will need the rom of your choice and you need to locate the default.xml
pretty easy to find just unzip rom and goto system/customize/CID
pull the default.xml and open with notepad++(link up there ^^^^)
then you need to scroll down and find this line
<BootAnimation animation="/system/customize/resource/Sprint_bootanimation.zip" /> and change it to this
<BootAnimation animation="/system/customize/resource/Sprint_bootanimation.zip" audio="/system/customize/resource/android_audio.mp3" /> (notice the change in blue you can name anything you like) save your changes and there are a few ways to move to phone
1.) adb = cd to where you have adb on pc and type in this adb push (drag file) system/customize/CID(must be caps) (hit enter)
2.) you can place on sdcard and using the file explorer of your choice copy to system/customize/CID (rename the og one to something like default.bak.xml or delete) and reboot
3.) or make it flashable along with the animation and sound(must have folder set up and named correctly)
and this also works for adding sound to downanimations just change this line:
<ShutdownAnimation image_png="/system/customize/resource/Sprint_downanimation.zip" image="" fps="15" />
to this and save
<ShutdownAnimation image_png="/system/customize/resource/Sprint_downanimation.zip" audio="/system/customize/resource/audio_out.mp3" image="" fps="15" />
and enjoy
(as always I or XDA,god,the government or space aliens are NOT responsible if you brick,bootloop,get smacked or get your ass kicked by some crazy ass person cause you wanted to show off the new animation that you made and added sound too.)
this one too
hell one more
In before anyone else!
I can also help with boot animations.
Will make suggestions after you finish your guide.
Sent from my Evo 3D on MetroPCS 3G!
ok i have this some what put together(and it still may change some over time) i will continue with making them flashable later. i probably went a little over board with the pics(first guide, so oh well) now the wife is yelling at me so agian i will finish later and i may make a few revisions.

Hi there! Just wanna share..
Just a basic background on how to theme your ROMS. - ofcourse, give thanks to the developer of your ROMs! .
I made this thread for those users who have personal wishes for their Phones. Ofcourse, ROM developers cannot please all of its users. so just make your own and be happy!.
I just made it easy for easy understanding and for the newbies.
Tried so many times and tested
I've already tried editing the systemUI.apk of different ROMs.
Here's what I did :
FIRST : Download 7zip to open the archived apk. - that's free.
Extracting first the Zip File..
(make sure you copy the original before extracting it for back up)
1. Download the ROM.zip and extract it to your PC.
2. Go to \system\app\SystemUI.apk\res\drawable-ldpi\
3. View the PNG files you wanted to change and make sure to remember its' file name.
4. After editing/changing the file/image you wanted, you can save it anywhere from your PC, let's say on your Desktop.
- Make sure that the file name still remains as is..
*After you're done editing, updating the PNG files you wish to change, follow this steps to update the zip file :
NOTE : You can apply transparency by editing the PNG file to photoshop by reducing the opacity of the image
1. Go to the original ZIP file of ROM.Zip from your PC
2. Right Click the folder and select 7 ZIP -->> open archive
3. Close all of windows/Browers (or minimize)
4. Go to \system\app\SystemUI.apk\res\drawable-ldpi\ and it will open a new window of 7zip showing the files inside the zip.
5. Now, given your edited PNG files or downloaded png files (assuming that files are located in your desktop). - Click and simply DRAG the file(s) from your desktop to \system\app\SystemUI.apk\res\drawable-ldpi\ .
6. It will ask you to confirm the action for it will replace the existing PNG file that you're trying to change.
7. Make sure that the file name of the one you edited/downloaded are THE SAME. -
8. After dragging and replacing the files you wanted, then you're good to go!
9. Close the 7zip window and that's it!.
You can now install the .zip by copying the UPDATED zip file to your SD Card.
(Note: Make sure to copy the updated one, not the backed up one)
Install the zip file from the original thread's instructions and reboot twice.
After that, you have now a customized systemUI.apk.
For those who do not want to reinstall the whole package.. follow these steps:
1. I assumed that you have the zip file of your ROM.
2. Extract it and go to \system\app\
3. Separate the SystemUi.apk - put it on your desktop. create a back up,
Right Click SystemUi.apk and select 7 ZIP -->> extract here - just to view the files you wanted to change.
Just go the folder and search for the PNG files.
4. Right Click SystemUi.apk and select 7 ZIP -->> open archive.
5. Go to \res\drawable-ldpi\
6. Click and simply DRAG the PNG file(s) from your desktop to \res\drawable-ldpi\
7. It will ask you to confirm the action for it will replace the existing PNG file that you're trying to change.
8. Make sure that the file name of the one you edited/downloaded are THE SAME. -
9. After dragging and replacing the files you wanted, then you're good to go!
APPLYING :
1. Download and install rootexplorer.apk
2. Download the png files you wanted to update.
3. Copy and paste the NEW SystemUi.apk that you have updated/Edited to your SD card.
4. Open root explorer in your galaxy y then go and tap MOUNT R/W.
5. Go to \SDCard and go to new SystemUI.apk that you have updated.
6. Long press the file and select copy
7. Press back and go to \system\app - tap MOUNT R/W at the top.
8. Paste the new SystemUI.apk from there.
(Note : You will encounter a lot of force closes for the exixsting systemui is currently being used by your phone. - just ignore it a lot and scroll down to look for the new SystemUI.apk.
9. Once you get there, long press on it and select permissions:
from the pop up, make the checked one like this :
•___•____ •
•___ .____.
•___ .____.
where Dots are the checked one - Bigger dots
After encountering a lot of force closes, then reboot the phone and that's it!
(Force Closes are normal, DON't PANIC - logically, you are currently using your systemUI.apk so just ignore it
NOTE : You can also apply the same steps in editing system files apps, just edit the .png files and locate it using 7zip(when you already opened it). Have a little LOGIC on how to edit system app background - same process. just different apk files and directory
HIT THANKS IF I HELPED YOU - IT COSTS NOTHING ;]
nice guide
you can also add this:
Install via ADB:
adb root
adb remount
adb push [file location in PC] /system/app/systemui.apk
Click to expand...
Click to collapse
no need to set permissions via ADB
also its better to use apk multitool since it can compile/decompile the apk's, if you extract the apk using 7zip or archive softwares you can't read the XML's and you can't compile them properly which results to force close issues when pushing into system

Thanks! not that sure how to use that that's why I made it my on way
more easy steps and understandable for newbies.
EDIT :
Yes you it will require to extract the apk files but just to view the image you wanted to change.. the original apk file will be opened thru 7zip and just replace the selected png. It is not recompiling the apk file at all

Do I have to do this on my phones file explorer or the computer? Also does it require a program to be used or simply opening it up in notepad or something and changing the value?

In your phone. Solid I use Explorer to navigate the phone, when you open the file it asks what type of file it is, and you want to open it. You choose the editor from Solid Explorer and change the 0 to where it says "Gems" = 0 for the number of gems you want to get.
Modifying the games.jason or using a value editor like GameKiller
To modify game.json
You may need to be Rooted and posses a file explorer tool
1. Locate and open /data/data/com.turner.cardwars/files/game.json
2. Search for gems = and modify that value to your desired amount of diamonds (apply's to all in-game integers i.e coins)
Using a Value Editor
You will need 3-4 gems, may need to be rooted to use the application
1. Open your Value Editor (i.e GameKiller) then Card Wars
2. Click the over-lay in game and search for the amount of gems you currently have (you will have many results at first)
3. Spend one gem then research the new amount of gems (repeat untill you have 1 value)
4. Select that value then edit the amount according to your hunger for gems
This method also apply's to all in-game integers i.e coins
Thanks guys

I don´t have /data/data...
Hey guys, this solution to get unlimited gems sounds easy n great but although I have a problem. I dont have a "/data/data..." path in my root but i have "Android/data/com.turner.cardwars/files/...". The problem is, that i have no such "game.json" file in there. And I can´t find it on my phone anywhere else - but played for a while and must have something like a savegame on my phone. So what can I do? Is the file hidden? I rooted my phone yesterday and used a file explorer -> no results. I have Android 4.4.

Guys,
I can't post in the official thread here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/lg-g3/development/guide-headphone-speaker-volume-booster-t2819821
But I just wanted to confirm that if you root your device and follow the directions here, I've got confirmed working on the Sprint LS990 variant of this phone. The thread mentions nothing of this on Sprint or the LS990 but I can confirm that it is indeed working.
You'll need to:
1. Have root with SuperSU installed
2. Install Root Browser and 920 Text Editor (Available in market for free)
3. Navigate to system/etc and then mixer_paths.xml
4. Change file permissions to rw-r-r
5. Save to your downloads folder just in case you trash your phone or something
6. Navigate to markers mentioned in thread link above. The LS990 variant will have aforementioned markers listed approximately 15 lines later in the code. Edit them to your liking.
7. Save, reboot, pray not to get caught in limbo.
8. Enjoy having better sound than everyone else with a phone.
Just an FYI anyone attempting this: If you do not edit the permissions correctly when overwriting the file the phone will not boot. It will get stuck at the yellow sprint screen and you will have to preform a reset.
Root browser did not allow me to change permissions correctly and when going quickly I did not notice it when overwriting.
However, second attempt after recovery it worked great.
Thanks for the info TROPhouse
So i havnt edited yet but permissions look right here. Will they change after I edit and save. And then change them back right. I don't wanna get stuck since we have no custom recovery yet.
Did it. It was way worth sweatin through the reboot process. Haha.

I'm using viper. Works perfect. After installing I moved the app from data/app to system/app. Heard people were having it being stopped after using it for awhile and this was there fix for that.
Kept having permission issue and was kind of nerve wrecking with no recovery.... However, phone sounds awesome now!

What settings did you end up with. I used 68 or 69 on all mine and it's pretty good. Not sure if I want it louder or quieter but it's definitely way better than stock was.

I did 69 which seems perfect to be honest... I mainly hear music at the gym and usually use soundcloud... at 69, I don't even get close to full volume on the phone now. Its perfect
it seems like there are another few steps in this process that aren't being mentioned, like how to save the mixer_paths file because following the instructions and updating the lines I want to update then trying to save with 920 text editor ends with the message that it's a read only system file.
Anyone care to fill in the blanks as to how you get the update to stick?
thanks!
Super loud
Thanks! Great volume!:victory:

Don't know if this is too late to help, but...
I don't use 920, but my guess is there's an option somewhere (probably in settings for the app) to switch the file system to read - write mode, instead of read-only. I use the FX app, and that's what I had to do with it. Be sure to set it back to read-only when you're done.

SUCCESS!
So you need to download an app that will mount your system, I used an app called mount/system. You launch it then select Mount r/w. Once you do that you have the needed access to edit the files as listed. I used this guide as well and had success....hope this helps others!
copy the original mixer_paths to your memory by ES file
edit it by notepad++ on windows and put it again in your memory
copy it from internal to your /system
highlight it and set permissions rw r r
move it from /system to /system/etc/
reboot and enjoy
Has anyone tryied playing with bluetooth volume i cant find where to change it any sugestions?
Nice, I haven't had any issues with my phone being too quiet, but I also came from a Verizon G2. Those were noticeably horrible for volume levels, so the G3 is a welcome change.
In regards to all the questions about which app to use for which function:
You could use Root Explorer, or any other file explorer that has root capabilities (ES File Explorer, Total Commander). You do NOT need to use a specific app set and if your file explorer can't mount/unmount the system partition with root permissions, try a new one because that one sucks.
You also should not be downloading three separate apps to accomplish this. It's kind of overkill to have a file explorer, a text editor, and a system partition mounter when any decent file explorer has all three of those built in. I think ROM Toolbox even has all those capabilities in the free version.

Agreed but I downloaded ES File Explorer and several others and I was unable to find the ability to mount as r/w. If the option is in those apps, it's very much hidden so an app to mount your file system then an editor was what I needed and it worked.

ES's current interface does hide a lot, and is in almost every way inferior to the original interface. But the option is there. It's also in FX (File Explorer) which is my root editor of choice.
the pursuit of sound quality! bullet for my valentine cant be heard on stock!!!!!!!
tried this. guess i messed up. stuck on spark screen. sat and read through the pages here. gotta fix my phone when i get home tonight.
what did you change you volume levels to?
So can those who have successfully made the edits share what volume levels you changed and what are the new numbers? I've made the change to mine and even with my $100 earphones there's distortion at what I feel is a low level. I'm thinking maybe there's a balance among these that I need to achieve?
thanks!

hello fellow xda junkies!
HERE IS A SIMPLE WAY TO GET DATA TETHERING THROUGH BUILD.PROP EDIT
NOTE:MESSING WITH BUILD.PROP COULD MESS YOUR PHONE UP BE CAREFUL
Step 1.) download a text editor.i suggest 920 text editor.
Step 2.) you will also need an root explorer so download that also.
Step 3).open up your root explorer and navigate to system/build.prop. and copy that file to another directory. i.e example sdcard/download.then rename
original build.prop file to build.prop.bak
Step 4).open up your text editor and navigate to the directory where you copied the build.prop file
Step 5.)look for this line [they are both close to the end of the build.prop file] "net.tethering.nonprovisioning=true" [once you find it change the true
to false] so it reads "net.tethering.nonprovisioning=false" NOTEDO NOT TYPE THE QUOTATION MARKS!!!
Step 6.) " look for line "persist.data.tethering_oc=1" change the variable 1 to 0 so it reads "persist.data.tethering_oc=0
Step 7.) move the build.prop file that you copied and edited from location you placed it in to its rightful spot in system/.change permissions to rw--r--r
reboot phone and your good to go!works on my vs985 LIKE A CHAMP.

Actually not.
Instead of trying to stop the thermal mitigation from working I did just the opposite, I changed the parameters on how it operates.
The file /system/etc/thermal-engine-8974.conf.
This file controls what happens to cpu speed at various temperatures.
That is what you tweak and it just works.
I also used ROM Toolbox to change the governor.

Thank you but...
First of all, thanks for the post. Although I appreciate the helpful post, my phone is now stuck in boot loop . I hate to be the one to open up an old thread but I'm freaking out at the moment due to brick fever :crying: My current setup was a rooted LG G3 VS98512b. My goal was simple, I didn't want to do anything crazy, I just wanted to enable wifi tether now I'm afraid I've lost everything... Is there a way I can get back into the storage of my phone and delete the modified build.prop, remove the ".bak" from the original and be back to the good life? Any assistance is greatly appreciated, this seemed like such a simple modification that led to such a big headache.
It sounds like you might have used an editor on your build.prop that could not handle the file size, resulting in your editted build.prop being truncated. Otherwise, maybe your permissions were left wrong. Either of these will cause your phone to bootloop.

Thanks for the reply. I used the editor recommended in the tutorial, 920 text editor. I followed the instructions word for word, I don't know what the problem is. Maybe its because I have the newest update and this mod was for 10b???As far as the permissions, the phone asked automatically if I wanted to change the permissions. The original build.prop is still there... is there a way I can delete the modified build.prop and replace it with the original? I really wish I would not have followed this tut, it didn't seem like a popular method. There has to be a way to delete the modified build.prop right?

Yes you can reflash the firmware or if you don;t want to restore to stock you can use ADB to fix the files and restore your .bak

Again, thank you for the response. Do you recommend a specific method or tutorial for trying restore the original build.prop? I did search however, because this scenario is so specific I'm not sure there is an exact solution to my problem.
Again, just in case someone else can chime in, I followed the instructions on the first post of this thread (see first post for detailed info). I copied the original build.prop then changed the name of the original build.prop, edited the copy, moved it to the original directory and restarted the phone. Now my phone doesn't make it to the Verizon screen (I think it is stuck in boot loop), the screen stays black and the small led on the left corner flashes blue and green. If I can just get access to the storage I can replace the modified build.prop with the original that is still in the same directory just renamed. It seems like such an easy task but, I just don't know how to go about it I'm a somewhat of an old school tinker, I'm just now getting back into the swing of Android... Thanks in advance!!
Bump
Bump please
This is crazy... I changed 2 values in build.prop for tethering and my phone wont boot now... I didnt install a ROM, change DPI, or make any major changes WTF???
Do you have a custom recovery (twrp)?
Can you connect to your phone with adb?
If you have twrp, search the board for the startup hardware key sequence to reach twrp, else from adb do a reboot recovery.
In twrp, you can select to mount system, then go to advanced - file manager. You can delete the bad build.prop, rename the good one, then set the permissions on the good one. If your good copy of build.prop is on a PC, put it on a flash drive, and use twrp's file manager to get it into your phone.
If you have a saved copy of build.prop on your PC, you can also use adb's push command. (You may also want to look at the adb shell command. The sequence might be to open a shell, delete the bad build. prop, get the right build.prop into the right directory, then chmod the right build.prop so it has the proper permissions.)
