Hi guys, I just got myself a Galaxy Tab 10.1, but not without any issues.
I just finished downloading stuffs from the market and start trying things out.
I just found out that my Angry Birds games (Original, Rio, Seasons) are always FC (force close) itself all the time. It occurs almost everytime during first gameplay. The birds didn't even have the time to launch. It just kicks me out to the tab home screen, and that's it. No error message at all. All 3 Angry Birds games are the same.
After going thru some experiments and frustations, including factory reset, flashing custom rom, stock rom, etc... what I found is a bit strange.
If I disable the network connection (wifi/3G mobile data), the games work fine!
Yes, I tried it over and over again, and it works that way.
100% crash with connection on, all smooth with connection off.
I don't know what could be the cause. Do you guys have any idea?
Is this normal or known issue? Are there any settings I set wrong? Might it be related to the ads in-game? or maybe something else?
So far I only get this issue with Angry Birds games. Hope I don't have to get a replacement.

I tried to search but unfortunately, i found nothing regarding this.
Now i am happy with my dell streak 5 but since yesterday.. it's just acting weird.
While typing on whatsapp, keyboard automatically hides.It never did this before.
ever since games keep getting paused.
like i am playing my farm tower hd game and it pauses even if i am a inches away from mobile.
Same goes for asphalt 5. It just pauses automatically without any command.
Please someone help me. i am in dire need of help. I have tried to restart phone but no avail.
i even closed few applications. Downloaded antivirus and scanned but it found results to be fine.
i am so very confused >_> though it's my brother's mobile i am using till mine comes, but i really don't want this thing to happen to my mobile.
because i type a LOT and auto minimising keyboard makes me go O_O
Well have you tried to wipe the cache? Also may have to wipe dalvik cache

I replied to your thread on AF, no need to cross-post on multiple forums.
Has anyone else noticed that a lot of OpenFeint games are acting weird? I noticed with Abduction! 2, if I go to Airplane mode, it will not force close. But, once I have internet access, it starts up and within a few seconds, it force closes. It's attempting to connect to OpenFeint but it won't.
On other games, such as Fruit Ninja, it will connect, but instead of my username, it gives me some weird number as my user ID. I have to open up OpenFeint, tell it to connect as a different user, and then log in under my actual handle. After that, the games will connect fine using my actual username, but Abduction! 2 still crashes unless I turn off internet access.
I'm running on a Droid X2. Yes, it is rooted and it's running CM7. However, I tested this under stock 2.3.4 and Eclipse 2.0.4 as well and the problem still persists.
I've gone and cleared all the data for the game, uninstalled it and then reinstalled it, and the problem still persists. I've even gone and deleted the openfeint directory on my SDcard.
Any ideas? Every time Abduction! 2 crashes, I tell it to send a report, so hopefully there is something there.

Thanks for describing the problem so thoroughly. I'm having the exact same problem on a Galaxy Nexus. The crash stack trace says that it's hitting a ServerException when connecting to openfeint. It skips that request when in airplane mode.
Has anyone tried out the Monopoly game on TF300.
It is one of my fav games from my Sony Tablet days.
However when I try to play it on TF300, initially it runs fine (Although loading time is a bit slow) but after playing for few minutes the screen starts flickering and flashing and becomes unresponsive. The background music continues fine.
Only way to get out of the scenario is to hit the home button and then manually stop the game.
Has anyone else faced problems like this?? Also, is there some kind of display driver or other updates available?? (I currently have the latest firmware that asus provided via the last update)

But do you keep the tablet in balanced mode? Or do you turn the aggressive mode on?? Does that make a difference?
Nope turning off sound didnt make a difference. I also turned up the processor to aggressive mode. Game starts well. But after a few minutes, suddenly at some animation. the touch buttons dont work and then the screen starts to flicker. Also, if I click the Home button and then try to get back to the game it just gives me a black screen (Isnt it supposed to keep running in the background untill I close it?)
So only way is to stop the game and restart it. Strange thing is that the game knows exactly where I had last exited and takes me back to the same position. So it has actually autosaved itself before I forcefuly quit the game (Cos the screen started flickering)
I have tried to uninstall and reinstall but that didnt work. I saw a comment in the feedback section which suggested that some other tablet users have also faced similar issue. Dunno whether it was solved or not. Could also be a problem with the game with settings specific to ICS. But a beast like TF300 should ideally run every damn game without even a minor hickup.
My tf300 is stock .29.
I have the amazon app store version of the game.
Have you powered down your 300 since installing the game? Some games seem to work better after a complete powerdown.
Yep I have powered down. I even did a system reset cos my tablet was lagging at times. After the factory reset with Apex Launcher, the tablet is blazing fast. However the monopoly problem still continues. (I really hoped that it would be solved )

you are on the .29 firmware?
Yes ver 29 firmware. All other games work absolutely fine (which ever works on my tablet that is .... including Fifa 12). Only for this app time and again the screen becomes responsive and starts flickering. I am on the US firmware.
I already sent my complaint to both the developers as well as in Google Play store. If I get a refund I'll probably try to purchase the same from Amazon again.
Do you guys have the apk from amazon??
Okay so here is what is going on, I will be playing a FPS like Critical Strike, Modern Combat, etc, even emulators and web browsing, the touch screen "Glitches".
Let me explain, I'll load up Critical Strike, then select a game to enter, and about 5 seconds into the game my touch screen glitches like as if a hardware button (Like on a ps2 controller) got sticky and I have to keep tapping the screen to make it work, but the problem never goes away.
I've done the following to try and fix this problem;
-Hard reset and soft reset
-clearing caches
-reflashing my ROM, other ROMS like MeanROM or ViperROM
-letting the phone die then charging it to 100%
Nothing has seemed to work anyone got any ideas on why this is happening?
EDIT: So the I found out the problem is the multi-touch. any ideas on how to fix?
