All pics are in contacts i can join with fb and all is good , but none in Mesage app . Lets say i go in contacts select contact with pic send sms but no picture in sms app
Anyone know how to resolve this ?

could you be a bit more specific which email @ you are using ?? and is it that when you send and recieve on your mobile it completes but doesnt show any email ?? if this is the problem then try sending an email from your pda and see if it goes out...?? try deleting and recreating the mail box account in your pda

I have a similar problem with my xda1-it appears to download mail, emails count up, progress bar runs but no emails appear. I found them in my Activsync inbox! (Tap Services, select Activsync).Still trying to figure this one-I don't sync email, so what's happened?

main reason is that you have restored a backup.

Ok i had Axura226VE and with the contacts i could put a contact in my phone then add the same contact from facebook then join them so that they are one contact so that it would have their phone number and have their facebook info as well as there facebook picture as their display picture in my contacts list.. .but now with Axura2310VE i can not join the phone contact with the facebook contact anyone know whats up with that....or should i just reflash the rom
Works for me..you know with phone contacts it doesn't show the 'linked contacts' directly in the contact view you have to hit 'menu->join'
Sorry don't mean to suggest you didn't know that but I don't use phone contacts much so at first I thought I had the same problem...

Hi all, I would like to know why is it unable to delete message in inbox after 2.3 update? whenever I choose delete option it only delete the conversation but the contact number still appear in the inbox list. Anyone face the same?
besides of that, it's impossible for me to sync contact details from FB, only contact birthday shown in the contact info but profile picture never appear. why is it so?

I had the same issue of not being able to delete messages after the 2.3 update. So, I deleted everything in my inbox at once, and it seemed to fix the problem. Now when I delete individual messages, they're gone without leveing that empty shell.
I have some of the sync issues, it picks and chooses which contact it wants to sync... Let me know if you get an answer. ;-)
So is anyone here using both facebook contacts (with phonenumbers ofcourse) and GO Sms? I love Go SMS, in my opinion it beats ChompSMS (which has the same problem) and HandCent (Which doesnt have the problem, but it looks like crap). But the problem is that it simply cant show facebook contacts.. When composing an sms it won't show anyone who is a facebook contact and where as in the standard messaging app i can see the name and photo of a contact who sent me an sms, in Go SMS it just shows the phone number.
Is there anything that can be done or is it entirely up to the Go SMS developer? 90% of my contacts are just facebook people, i can't be arsed to manually create them all as normal contacts

Just found this thread via Google, I can't believe how much time I've wasted messing around with Google Contacts/FB Sync for this issue.
My suggestion is file a bug report on GoSMS and hope the devs can fix it. It shouldn't even be that difficult - just a specific case for handling Facebook contacts. They've demonstrated they're willing to deal with FB-specific issues as shown by their new 'import FB photo' feature.
Do let me know if you figure out a workaround? Like you, I know Handcent does it fine, but it looks like arse.

You have to have a rooted phone.
Rebuild the contact database or install a custom rom with that feature installed.
