sorry if this has been asked before, I searched but didnt find anything.
Is there any way to get the xperia arc gallery working on the mini? there are a few apps that work from the arc system (like the launcher) but others wont, like the gallery (parse error).
I know is the same stock android gallery (that i already have) but the icon matches better with the set of xperia icons and the buttons inside are a bit different and i like it better.
oh, and also maybe the music play/pause widget from the arc, if possible.

So far I got the timescape from arc working on mini pro cm6
But images are distorted I guess it should work well on the X10...

thanks, though it starts installing and says "application not installed".

If you check logcat or install using adb, u wl knw the exact reason why it dsnt install
But trust me its the same file version incase u checked it using astro file manager
Since I signed it using a diff signature, installer wld have verified the signature and hence wdnt hv installed

Try this...
Open root explorer goto this gallery.apk 's location.
Move it from there to /system/app/
Now
Long press on the file and select permissions option.
On d dialoge box that appears check all boxes and click ok
Now try installing
It shld parse package coz it dd for me.
If still dsnt work

Well i have my x10 with a custom rom,and installed timescape from the arc dump;everything's working good thanks to a tutorial on how to install it. My question is that when i had the stock timescape and published something on Facebook trough it;it said published trough sonyericsson xperia. Now with this new timescape it says published trough semc beta or something. My question is where do i have to edit to have the same as before;i mean published trough SonyEricsson and the SE logo like in the eclair stock rom. In the build prop? Or in the Meta inf of the apk? If so which apk should i edit. Timescape or Facebook. Plugin? Thanks for your time

i've tries that yesterday but i could not find the line to be moddified,maybe istalling 2.1 timescape???? just like the arc but with the eclair apk and settings.
Can some one pull the files please?
Browser settings
open browser, settings, select user agent. that is the only way I know, but they are pre selected phone id's but from what I've heard, when you manually change device id, it could lead to trouble. asthetics are something for the future, I'd be happy with a working timescape
If you had enough time you could decompile the app and find the string that says beta and simply replace it. Ive had a bit of app coding experience and it seems pretty simple. Like i said though decompiling such a big app and finding where the string is used and how many times can be a lot of work.
If you get me a link i can have a look but no promises

probably you have different kernel thats why... it doesn't support the infinite UI.... coz if you have different rom which means it's not working well..
So could I flash a different kernel to solve this?

I'm having the same problem, I havn't changed my Kernal or anything.
This worked fine until I installed the 06 as well.

reflash the v06 update!!
If you got timescape installed, uninstall it! Timescape is the app that causes most force closes on the 2.2.1 roms.

Worked for me!
OK i've just reinstalled the 06 update and it seems to have worked. I'll see if it happens again in the next day or two.

i just copied the infiniteview.apk from the update over the one the timescape zip installed and everything works smoothly.
Somebody posted an infiniteview.apk over at wolf's thread. I can't paste it here cause I'm on my phone. Install that apk and you should be all good.

I installed that infiniteview.apk but it's not made a difference..
for those on wolfbreak's rom:
extract infiniteview.apk from v05
uninstall infiniteview
install the apk from v05
Your infinite view should now be 0.91 instead of the newer 0.92(which is causing the FC)
I had the same problem, i only installed the patch V06.1 of the Rom of Wolf break [Hotfix V061] [22-04-11] and thats it. I recomend you read about this rom, beacuse my problem was in this rom by wolfbreak.
I have a problem with the paid version of launcher pro, whenever I try to setup the facebook widget login it keeps giving me an invalid_key error. has anyone else had the same problem or have a fix for it?
It does this on Stock Froyo, CM7 & MIUI.

All good now, did a check and found that the LP version I was trying was an old themed one, as soon as I installed the latest LP it fixed the problem.
I got the cracked version from the net..no such problems for me on 7.1

Not moto g.....m using xperia sp with cm12.1
My other, non-Sony Android can install ported Sony apps, incl. Walkman, through adb or from SD card, but when searching for them on PS, they don't show. What changes are needed in build.prop file to fool play store? Just replacing the manufacturer name with "Sony" doesn't do the trick. I don't want to edit too much of the build.prop, even if it is backed up.

I couldnt find it through search too. I firs find any other sony app in store, then chose developer (sony), and there was ful list of sony apps including walkman.

I don't get the bold part.
Perhaps you mean you open "More by Sony Mobile Communications (SEE MORE)" section on an app's page and you get the list of all Sony apps, incl Walkman, Album, Video, etc? If that's the case, I still don't have those apps in that list. I do have Xperia Diagnostics, Audio Recorder, TrackID, Smart Key, and so on, but not those mentioned in the previous sentence.

I did that and still no Walkman in PS.
I can use the previous version since it works properly, that's no-issue. Just want to have a PS install/update option handy, too, for obvious reasons.

^Did that, too, been using Walkman 8.4.A.3.1 from last year, for about a month.
Tried simple c/p the newest version from my XSP (from PS update), but the installation ended with the "Uninstall failed" error every time, even after there were no Walkman of any version on the phone. The ported one from your link installs however you want it to, but, again, I'd rather depend on online PS update, than to wait for a ported version.

PS shows update for walkman in my xsp running on cm12.1 and i have installed v3.5 of that ported walkman.
I'm glad, but that's not the situation in my case.

Thats exactly what I had in mind. well, sorry about not finding walkman... maybe it's because different release version, mine is 0411..

i am running cm12 with lollipop 5.1 , everything works great except visualizer. any help?
I Have the ZL and was looking for build.prop settings too. I run a custom cm rom on my xperia and can not get walkman or album. Play store shows it as incompatible. Like said previously, I can flash someones port and then it shows on the play store, but sometimes updates will FC the app!
