Well I just got a data plan and i want to update my xperia x10 and get the most of it.
My xperia specs are:
X10a
Firmware: 2.1-update1
Baseband 2.0.46
Kernel version 2.6.29
Build # 2.0.a.504
I want to know which roms are compatible with my device pls
Another question
If I update my Android version, can I download the 2.2 market apps?
Android 2.2
I recommend CM 6.1.3 [V006] [13-05-11] [Tweaked+Theme+Extras] (Android version 2.2.1)
I use this ROM and is very happy
yeah but since your baseband is 46 for CM 6.1.3 [V006] [13-05-11] [Tweaked+Theme+Extras] you'll need patch which is on its first post
you can also try Cobrato's MIUI:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1041524
fast & stable & it should work on 46 without patch
I am currently with DarkMoon(build V02) Froyo 2.2.1 on my rooted LG P500.
Is there anyway to upgrade to 2.3 while also keeping RTL support working? all the ROMs i found on the forum do not specify if RTL is supported or not.
I'm no programmer or developer just a basic user in need of something better. I just recently bought the Samsung Galaxy S II on the Straight Talk network. The phone comes stock with the Android Gingerbread 2.3.6 OS and I'd like to upgrade to the latest Android Jelly Bean 4.2 OS.
Any help from anyone who has successfully upgraded to the latest Android OS would be great. I prefer any tutorials that are step-by-step since I have no programming experience.
Here are the phone facts:
Network: Straight-Talk
Model Number: SGH-S959G
Android Version: 2.3.6
Kernal Version: 2.6.35.7
Build Number: GINGERBREAD.UDLG1
Thanks in advance!
