the problem with auto callrecorder is that it automatically records calls without giving the option in to record or not. i want a call recorder app that gives the option to record a call or not before placing a call... like a window that pops up before you make a call asking you if you want to record the call.

Call Recorder App for Vibrant?

I have seen voice/call recorder app in market but either they just don't work, can recorder my voice only, or I have to put call on speaker to record both sides.
I am coming from Symbian and there were many reliable apps for that.
Is there a single reliable Android app for call recording? I don't mind automatic or manual.
thank you
+1 here... I'm also coming from N82 with Ultimate voice recorder
I just tested Recoroid yesterday and it worked.

Are you able to make calls?
I have very poor quality when the proximity sensor turns off the screen. Only when on hands-free or speaker I can hear and be heard.
Yes you can make call.
BUT
On my wildfire ( with the last openfire ROM) the sound is very laggy on WIFI or on 3G.
( people hear me correctly but I heard "laggy" , with the test echo call, everything i hear is laggy)
Does anyone has perfect sound ?

I have no quality problems (and no lag) as far as the screen does not turn off (with the proximity sensor)
I use cyanogenmod 6.1 RC2 and I have overlocked to 710MHz. I can make decent calls on 3G of WiFi but only using a headset or loudspeaker (so the screen stays on)
Market version works on cm6, wildpuzzle, stock 2.1 (1.37 debrand), just didn't work on my Vodafone branded firmware.

my market version works fine on my generic Telenor 2.1 eclair.Probabbly there is a problem with modified roms

Call recorder setup that works

I've included my abt phone. I'm using 1.0.26 alpha version of call recorder. It's hit or miss if it works on incoming calls and not at all on outgoing. I'm wondering if anyone has a reliable setup.

I would love this as well. I spent the entire 14 months I owned the Incredible looking for this.

Update = no shutter sound option on camera?

I just recently tried out a couple of ROMs with 2.3.4 and I've noticed that the camera app no longer has an option to turn off the shutter sound, and I personally hate the shutter sound. With a passion. Is there any huge differences between this updated camera app and the last one? Because i may just get the old one if not, or has anyone else noticed this at all?
Do a quick search, there is a tweaked camera available. It removes the sound, adds panorama & HDR options as a bonus.

Is this another GSM vs CDMA feature? Cause I'm on stock GSM 2.3.4, and my shutter sound option is still working!
Sent from my HTC EVO 3D using Tapatalk
Yeah, CDMA could turn it off before the latest OTA and before the ota we couldn't take screenshots w/o root, while gsm versions could.
I did do a search actually, well from my phone. I didn't find anything though, where can I get just the .apk for that?
I would like to know that as well.

I am still searching a better call recorder
All call recorders for S2 are recording through the Speaker sound and not internally
