Does the service menu work on 2.2 /2.3 roms? Or there is any bug/incompactibility? Because if it works fine we can simply copy it into any rom

err.. I've just ported the danish keyboard from the ROM you gave me-- it's the same look as above but the "ae" and "o" is switched that's the only difference
well if it is the same letter and so forth, that would work for me..

Here you go-- but you will need to select it everytime you will be resetting. Select 'Tastatur' on 'other input method' selection of your SIP. I can do it permanently but only to my ROM as the permanent fix varies from one ROM to the other

If only. If you're after 2.1 have a read of this thread - x10 Flash 2.1 Final + Global World Firmware 2.1
thanks mate already did... updated my phone about an hr ago... sorry again about creating the thread.... bad first impression.... one thing though. how do you check the advanced settings on the new eclair update. menu<<menu<menumenu< doesn't seem to work on my phone again. thanks in advanced...
edit: ok don't bother found that i was pressing the wrong menu button. on the 1.6 version i used to get into the service menu by using the left key(as the menu) and the back key... whereas on the 2.1 version had to use the center buttton as the menu and the back key.....

No need to apologise, just don't do it again. At least you're sorted now.
I had been searching for TrackID for custom roms for a long time. And finally I found it today on a different forum.
It can be downloaded at https://market.android.com/details?id=com.sonyericsson.trackid
Although I was unable to download it directly form the android market somehow. Anyways, I am attaching it here
it says in the thread that only people from sweden can download it from the android market

I am on Omega Rom 8.1, I don't really know if it is the latest Samsung firmware or Omega's mistake. When adding birthdate to a contact there will be 2 cancel button (no OK button) when you want to input the birthdate. Can anybody else confirm this?
This is not ROM problem works fine for me. Is it the Google calendar that you are using?

I can confirm this however the birthday that you enter can still be saved by pressing either one of the cancel buttons. and this is on the standard phones contact list synced to google. pic below

Yes it still can be saved by pressing the Cancel button on the right. Just would like to clarify is this a bug on the latest Stock firmware or is it from Omega Rom? Are you using Omega?

got 4.0.4 and cm9 and no fail during flash, no crash. nothing ^^
installed several times and followed your guide.
could be a problem of my phone, cause even some designs not work with, so be patient to me ^^
