[Q] Kernel UHKE4 - Galaxy S II Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hello, I just have a small question there I was not able to answer just looking at the Forum.
My celular (from Claro) have a Kernel 2.6.37.7-I9100UHKE4-CL218676. I found a unsecure kernel UHKE5 here. Can I use these one?
Thanks for you answer.

[Q] Root question I haven't seen answered

Hi All,
Instead of using CF-Root kernel to root my phone, can I use the SpeedMod(which includes root as well), or do I have to flash to CF-Root first and then re-flash to SpeedMod kernel?
Also, do you suggest I flash my Vodafone GR firmware to a stock one(KG2), prior to rooting the phone?
Many thanks for all the information posted on this forum!
MG
no, you do not need to apply if speedmod is rooted.
no you do not have to go to stock to root.
Please use the Q&A Forum for questions Thanks
