My buddy's looking to sell me his, hasn't given me a price yet but mentioned $250. I see them brand new @ office depot for $250. SO, what should I offer, most I should pay, is it worth it or is it gonna be outdated in a month?
ThaNKs
They're even cheaper online, it's a used device. If you wanted to be a good guy, i'd say like 175-ish? If it's beaten to hell 125-150.
eBay completions seem to sit right at $200 lately.

I am selling my gtab because I ran into some money issue. I love this thing but i have to let go. If you interested please pm me.
Condition: perfect. No scratches
I don't have the original box but I have everything else that came with it.
I am also including the 4gb sd card class 6.
I rooted the tab and its running cm7. it runs perfectly.
Please let me know.
I would only accept PayPal payment.
US only.
Thanks
Not sure if this the right place for such thread.
But any way to but things in prespective, the gtab is currently regularly priced @ $329 (shipped, no taxes, brand new, 12 months waranty) @ buy.com.
And if I am to sell my gtab now, I would wait untill all the debate about NVIDIA dropping support for Harmony Tegra2 (i.e. gtab) past Foryo get resolved, unless you are willing to seriously mark it down.
Best of luck,

I didn't know buy.com was selling it for 329. I should bring the price down to $300. Free shipping.
Well I need the money. So that's why I am selling the tab.
Thanks for the info.
Most places are selling the G-Tab for $299. The max price for a used (or even open-box) should be $250.
I know there's no way I'd buy a used one for the same price I can get a brand spankin, untouched new one.
Yea. True that. I should have posted the thread after looking up the average price for the tab. Thanks for the suggestion. I am hoping to find a buyer.
Amazon has them for $279 new . ( Woot is the Amazon seller) Seems that the woot auction caused a real domino effect for this tablet price wise. They are $299 at Circut City .they been going for $250 ish on Ebay now. 2 weeks ago they were $350.

I don't know what your situation is but seeing how new gTabs are being sold now for an average of $279 you may just need to suck it up and drop your price to be competitive. With the current market conditions you may find it a lot easier to unload yours for around $225.
Just something to think about.
Hi everyone, this is my first post on the Xda forum, after deciding I should join due to having four Android devices in my house. I was seeing all these threads about exchanging the Prime for the new Infinity from Best Buy, and became really excited. Mine hasn't had the best Wifi speeds I expected, so I'd really like to switch it to the TF-700. But, I bought it from Futureshop, and online (I'm from Canada by the way). Since Futureshop is a sister company to Best Buy, would I be able to get the same offer? Also, could it be done online? (I'm a three hour drive from the nearest store) I think this deal would be perfect, but hopefully its possible!

There is no formal offer from Best Buy, read the thread in General, its an exchange loophole because in US stores the Prime is no longer in the inventory/servicing system. You're not going to be able to do it online.

In order to keep this forum clean i have closed the following threads -
Nexus 10 Price Tag Sighting at WalMart!!
Looks like it will be in UK Currys PCWorld on 13th
Will be sold at Walmart. Cover attachment is ugly.
Please use this thread to discuss anything related to where you bought your device, how much it cost, how much was shipping and how long for shipping.
Thanks

Just my 2p but these threads were relating to different stores in different countries and were perfectly valid. No need to merge them.
So now I have to sift through a bunch of stuff about where it's going to be sold in the US to find the bits about where it's going to be sold in the UK? Are we rationing threads now?
Ridiculous.

Agreed. Im not really bothered where and what isle in Wallmart the N10 will be sold at. Im not going to jump on a plane and travel 12 hours to America.
Can we not duplicate this post and have a seperate UK and an American one, maybe more for other location????
Never thought one day I'd go to a Walmart to buy a $500 tablet....
+1 lol.to bad Best Buy is not selling it.

Are the prices in the Google Play Store what you would pay in total if you placed an order or would you have to add VAT and delivery charges on top?
Ok, it seems that my decision to make one thread about buying the Nexus 10 and the reason is a little foggy to some people, so let me try and clear it up for everyone. Yes we could make a thread just for the UK and the US, but you would then have to make one for the other 6/7 countries you can buy the Nexus 10 in being, Austraila, France, Germany, Spain, Canada and Japan, so having 8 threads on where to buy the Nexus 10 in my mind is not needed. These types of thread only have a short life span and will die away after a few months, because most people would have bought it by then, also these type of threads dont pick up that much traffic, so sifting through and finding the infomation you need won't be that hard, remember the search button it's really good at finding you the answer you need. So lets please not fill this thread up with anymore should we or not have more than one thread.
Thanks

Alright guys let's make this thread an informative one so people don't have to siff through much [What's done, has been done]. Rather than complaining and wasting space let's talk Nexus
So hopefully tomorrow I can find out if Currys/PC World will be selling the Nexus 10 on launch day or on the 18th. :good:
Yes I'll be asking at my local store on Sunday. I don't know why they'd wait till the 18th?!
Someone, somewhere on here said that they asked and 'someone' told them it'd be released on the 18th in store. Nothing concrete yet though, and hope that's incorrect.
The 18th is a Sunday. Why would it get released on a Sunday!?!
I'm going in tomorrow to ask. So I guess we'll find out from a few places and get a good picture. A release on the 18th is the sort of weird move that sounds like they're trying to follow in the footsteps of Comet...
I called the Walmart nearest my house today and asked if they had the Nexus 10 Android Tablet ("no"), and when they expected to get them ("no idea"). Very helpful walmart.
I hope it is sold on Newegg.com. I have a 500 dollar gift card to there I would love to use on this.
Thanks for all the good info guys. I'm considering getting one.
well not a shot to buy from handtek they are greedy uk prices are 319gbp for 16gb and 389 for 32gb and prices on handtek are too high for my taste ,really the profit margin of them is redicilius high and the review of their site over the net is not so well ,even if i am not in lauch countries i will not be tempted by them ,i will wait a bit longer ....
Any news about Sam's Club?
Hello everyone!
I upgraded to the Samsung Galaxy S4 last week. It's pretty awesome. But that's not why I'm here.
I've been trying to sell my Note on eBay. I've listed it two different times. Once was with a Buy It Now and it was bought within a minute of me listing it. Guy never paid. It was a scam. So, I blocked him. Next time I listed it I did an auction style. At the last minute someone with a feedback score of 100%, but only 3 feedbacks bid a high amount. Now that person isn't contacting me and has not paid.
Just curious if anyone else has experienced anything like this?
So is this an eBay question, or you trying to sell your device?
Either way I think you're in the wrong forum.

This is what you get with ebay. If they find something better/cheaper, they can flake out.
I am not surprised and you shouldn't be either. Try posting on local classified or Craigslist, and sell it face-to-face.

Craigslist has more flakers than eBay does. At least with eBay you have some protection. On Craigslist you have to meet up with the person which can be more of a hassle if the person does not show up or tries to rob you. You can end up selling it for more on Craigslist but there are more risks involved.
To the OP, I would repost it on eBay and file a complaint against the people that flaked on the auction. I've sold lots of things on eBay and I've also had people bail on me when they won the auction. It happens so don't feel that it is the norm. You just got flaked on twice.
If I were you, I'd repost it on eBay and put it on Craigslist. Just make sure you do not post your phone number or email address on Craigslist. Have the person that is interested in your phone leave you their phone number so that you could call them. Also, make sure you meet up at a public place such as a mall or store. I don't recommend meeting at your house or theirs. Good luck.
If your phone works, go hit up swappa, they charge $15 to sell it, but it's as secure as you get. I've bought my prime there and it was quick smooth and easy.
I buy and sell a lot on ebay, with 100% positives.
if you take GOOD pics of your Note, explain the condition accurately, and make it a nice looking listing, with a responsible start price [say 190 for instance] and you have 98 to 100% feedback rating, you'll get it done. ship it flat rate padded envelope so no one is confused about what shipping is.
for whatever reason [supply, probably] the i717 does not bring quite as much as the t-mo version, all other things considered.
both great handsets imo.

Can you believe people trying to get 40-100% markup on these on eBay?
People outside the U.S. that can't get them locally, I'd gather.
Talk about exploiting a situation..... SMH!
I remember Cabbage Patch Kids. Gouging has been happening for a while now, regardless of the product. If its in demand, someone will price gouge.

It may also just be that people with money want things and can afford it.
It may not make sense to you... But for the guy who is making 5 times what you do.... Paying double still feels like less, and time is money, why **** around?
I saw those $1000 for a 32gb one... Who woudl buy that? Its almost worse than iPhone people
You call it gouging, I call it supply and demand or capitalism.
They have every right to ask whatever they want for things they sell - more power to them if they can get someone to actually pay it.

Its not sold out so no that wouldn't work here. You can still buy it directly from google right now therefore it's not a supply/demand thing because the supply is there.

Except that it's apparently not available in some countries yet. Someone in Argentina I think it was complained about not being able to get one for a while, if ever. And if it DID become available, the price would be greatly increased.
So...it sucks because they're getting price gouged even more, but at least it's available...personally, I wouldn't increase the price by more than, I dunno, $50 or so to cover my minimal time and effort? But that's just me.

Yes but not state side or in one of the launch countries. I find it hard to fathom someone paying that much for a 32gb but then again some people don't care.
I am not from the U.S. and I bought the Nexus 5, Nexus 6 , Nexus 7 2012 and Nexus 9 from Google US Play store.
Now I pre ordered the Nexus 6P ?

Supply and Demand, I'm not surprised at all.
Also not saying it's right, but it is a free economy, but shame on Google for only releasing it in certain area's.
EBay has always had a few ripoffs Sellers after Nexus launches...

There is plenty of supply this time, because you can still buy any of the eight configuration from Google store. It is crooks trying to trap uninformed people.

No, it's supply and demand. The supply in the US is plentiful, but it is not in other areas.
Also, for the instance of someone buying one in the US, that I'm sure you'll bring up, it is still supply and demand. The person selling is assuming they will have their pre-ordered device before a regular person will be able to pick one up in a store. So they are going to sell it to the person who really really wants it but didn't get a pre-order in early enough. If the person buying is willing to pay that high of an amount to get a phone a little early, then the demand has been created, and the seller is fulfilling that demand with their supply.
For example I pulled this off a $1,000 ebay listing.
"This pre-order item was ordered from Google early on the onsale date, and is expected arrive at my address November 4th - November 6th. I will immediately ship it upon receipt to the purchaser of this auction. In the unforeseen event of Google being unable to deliver the phone to me by November 11th, a full refund of the purchase price will be offered to the purchaser. "
That bolded part right there, would technically get to ME before my pre-order which quoted me Nov. 10-12, so the people who got in early, are banking on others wanting this thing yesterday, and they might be willing to pay.
With that said, are the people selling them for $1000 crooks, no, they have the right to do whatever they want with it, once they own it. However anyone who buys it for that price is a moron.
What ever happen to opportunist capitalism?
The value of the item is worth what someone will pay for it. If they can get it, kudos to them. If not, no one will buy it from them and the eBay auction will be back to MSRP. The buyer is fronting the cost of the good in hopes they can sell it for cost + eBay fees. I see nothing wrong with asking for the moon and settling on a tidy 10 or 15 percent profit.

Not sure i see an issue with it . People that have money will pay for what they want for what ever reason, weather its something they cant get in there county/ location or there is a supply issue and someone has it wants to take advantage of the situation to make extra money. no one is forcing anyone to pay those prices.
I wouldn't pay those prices for something i would just wait to find it cheaper lol
