[Q] Restoring TouchWIZ UI after Unbricking - Galaxy Tab 10.1 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi all,
I have recently aborted an attempt to load Tabuntu on my GT-7510. It took me some time to get the Tab to boot stably again. Even after flashing to the stock ROM, all programs kept crashing until I did a factory data wupe in CWM.
Anyway, that's not my problem. I finally have a working GT-7510 again
However, my Tab came from retail with TouchWIZ UI installed.
For my own reasons, I love TouchWIZ and I would really like to get my tab back to the way it was out of box. Is the only solution to use the custom TouchWIZ rom listed in the developers forum sticky, or is there a stock rom I am somehow missing, or am I misunderstanding my own problem completely? Please help! Thanks

[Q] Problem installing Darkys rom

Hello,
I have tried installing cyanogenmod. This worked, but I wasn't happy with it and tried to go back to darky's rom, by wiping to factory defaults, then wiping all data; and afterwards update to darky's rom.
But somehow, my phone isn't starting anymore. I also cannot go into Recovery mode. The only thing that is starting is Downloading mode. How can I get a decent rom installed again? :S
Pls help! I don't know what to do anymore
Can anyone help me out here?
Flash a stock rom and start from scratch
Hey, I never got it to work with cyanogenmod on my galaxy s, but since you dont tell which phone u are using its a little difficult. Take a look here, there should be a guide.

[Q] Please Help: Roll-back from CM9 to stock w/Odin.

Hello XDA!
I am having problems returning my Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 P7510 WiFi back to stock from CM9. I used Odin PC to flash the stock ROM. The operation completes successfully, and the tablet reboots, but never successfully boots past start-up. I have used this method with several other ROM's, and have never had this problem before. Can anyone please tell me if there are any additional steps I need to consider in order to roll back from Cyanogen Mod specifically.
Thank you in advance for all your help!

After installing the stock ROM, make sure you do a factory reset (wipe cache/data/dalvik).

[Q] Gionee G1 stuck in bootloop after successful custom rom Instal

Hi
So I rooted my Gioneed Gpad G1 and CWM and everything was smooth until I got the idea of flashing a custom ROM using this idiot's post here
//needrom.com/mobile/gionee-gn800-custom-rom-leetsleek-v1-0//
So while I understand there is a probability that the phone would work perfectly are 50-50, mine falls in the unfortunate category.
I flashed the rom and the installation was succesful. However, upon reboot, my phone is stuck at the boot screen showing "Gionee". I can access the custom recover, and have tried cleaning cache, and the devlick cache, and formatting the phone. Nothing works.
Since this was my first experience with rooting, I had no idea about the nandroid backup, until I saw the posts later on, albeit too late.
So, my question is, is there any remote possibilty that I can get my phone back in working condition? Any kind of response would be appreciated.
PS: I write under this forum since paranoid android is one the best custom roms there is, and unfortunately, neither this nor any other rom is available for Gionee.

[Q] Got my Hands on a VIbrant. Now how do I replace its ROM?

Hello everyone.
As the title says I recently got my hands on a Samsung Vibrant. I have it from a friend who just left the apartment we lived in together for 5 months as she didn't need it anymore. It currently has a MIUI ROM on it and I'd like to change it to sada23's unofficial CM 11.0
The problem is however that my only previous experience with flashing ROM was with a Samsung Galaxy Chat when I slapped Jelly Bean on it which was only released in a few countries. So I went right ahead but found the amount of things I have to do overwhelming compared to when I just used ODIN on the old phone.
I'm trying to tell what the current status is of the phone and this is what I've been able to come up with so far. (also after googling what everything is and does lol)
- MIUI present so custom ROM install definitely possible
- When I booted into recovery mode I saw it has: "Semaphore CWM Recovery v6.0.1.9" (which I presume is outdated)
- BY default the MIUI ROM apparently has a superuser app (which lead me to think that the device is rooted), however everytime I try to use an app that requires root I encounter errors.
I just did a backup using the recovery mode with semaphore cause I saw this is usually a first step in all the guides I've read. However from here on out I am completely clueless on what to do because all the guides were so different from eachother and I have a feeling my phone is in a vague situation. (root/not rooted?)
So I was hoping someone here could point me into the right direction and help me get to CM from MIUI. Thank you in advance.
I'll be following this thread.. kinda in a similar situation. Although a bit worse. I had an old vibrant in a drawer from years back in mint condish!.. last thing I did was root and install recovery. Unfortunately I'm a stooge and without thinking threw a 4.4 rom zip on the phone.. booted to recovery and cleaned and tried to flash.. bottom line i'm in a bootloop now... and I gave up when odin wasn't detecting the phone.. I"ll figure that out eventually, but it would be great to just have a 4.4 Odin tar for a quick and painless install... or at least a tar from a 4.0 with root and recovery to make the 4.4 upgrade easy.
Also would be interested in knowing if the 4.4 roms work well.. Gps will be most important to me since I plan to use this as my jogging phone.
alrighty.. let's get this party started!
Edit - I think the best thing for you to do is odin back to stock then root install custom bootloader and then flash your new rom, I've heard that you can go straight to kk from stock but the guy who posted above me has problems because of that so I would try flashing an ICS ROM for the recovery first, and don't forget to make a nandroid backup
You can find all the files and programs you'll ever need here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1982728 in NOOB_IN_NEED 'S ref thread
Hope I was of some help if I was hit the thanks button
