HELLO COMMUNITY!!
Has anybody installed hulu + on their honeycomb g tablets??
The application works ive tried two methods:
a. using a phone that allows market access to the hulu + app. I logged on to my account and then using Titanium backup to move the files from the phone created by Ti Backup to the g tab to be restored thru Ti Backup on the gtab. This allows me to pass device compatibility checks.
b. downloaded a random hulu + app reported working for xoom.
although they both work, when trying to stream a video, it locks into landscape mode and the only visible video is in the bottom left corner. anybody run into this??? this solution would be the best workaround having to find the latest hacked flash to run hulu - and just have it stream through the app like how we do with netflix.

Hi,
I am currently using good, old iPad 1.
Via VPN I have no problems with accessing Netflix and Hulu Plus.
All I had to do was to create additional iTunes accounts in USA to get those apps.
Not even jailbrake was required.
My question is (or are):
If I will get myself one of the above tablets (TF300 or Prime - on iPad I can not watch my mkv's 720p stored on my NAS drive) will I have problem/is is diable/etc. getting both Netflix and Hulu Plus to work?
One more thought... since ICS seems to be using some sort of Chrome browser for android... is it possible to fool Hulu that I am using desktop instead of mobile device in order to avoid Hulu Plus subscription (which is annoying since quite a lot of stuff I want to watch has description "web only" and will not run on iPad despite payment).
2 days ago Hulu suddenly stopped working, even though I have the Hulu hack installed and didn't upgrade Adobe Flash. Now I get the message again "your device is not supported". Does anyone else have the same problem, I couldn't find a new fix yet and currently I am using WebOS to watch Hulu.
Regular Hulu, of course. Not Hulu Plus.
Any update to this? Is there a fix to get Non Plus Hulu working again on the TP?
Thanks

Confirmed,
The non premium Adobe flash hack is no longer functional on my device either.
EDIT:
After digging through my APK archives I found a version of Adobe Flash that still works with Non-Premium Hulu.

Be sure to set your User Agent to Desktop under settings and "Request Desktop Site" (Just to be on the safe side) Before attempting to stream video from Hulu.
Side Note:Also, if you are running an Ad Blocking App like AdAway, be sure to disable it before attempting to stream from Hulu.
I've attached the file to this Post.
Hi all,
I'm one of the few people still rocking a Google TV and I can't take the stock Netflix app anymore. This is a specialized version of the Netflix app that does not allow "touch-screen" (AKA point-and-click) input and instead forces all navigation to be done with the arrow keys on an official TV remote (even external keyboards don't work)
I side-loaded the Netflix app from my Note II, but it always launches in portrait mode and won't reconfigure to widescreen until I select a title. So I'm assuming there is a different apk for tablet devices that will render everything in landscape from the start. Does anyone have such an apk that they would be willing to share?
Thanks!

I just got the Mi Box S, and finding it quite limiting..
The play store won't let you install non androidTV apps, and if you install it via downloading some APK's, the apps show up wayy in the bottom of the apps list among the "system apps"..
I installed an sshd , but it is limited to its own folder only!
So in general, too ugly.. My aim was to watch things like netflix or BBC iplayer with it and maybe chromecast to it.
I can still return it.. Shall I return it and get something like a Raspberry Pi 3 instead (4's are too expensive). I'm good with linux and frankly, I miss it with this machine.. If I get a Pi, what should I install on it to turn it into a TV box?
Thanks, -t
Stick with the Mi Box..all your problems are either not problems at all or are perfectly solvable
Netflix has it's own android tv app, not sure what problem you're facing there.
Sideloaded APKs can easily show up if you install an app called Launcher
BBC iplayer also has a android tv app, you can install via playstore or sideload..either works.
Use your sshd for storing movies etc and ideally don't use as internal storage as that will slow down apps a lot.
Don't install too many apps, only those you plan to use regularly, remove others.
