Anyone know what I need to do or edit in order to remove this from the status bar? Thanks.

You want the percent numbers gone or the whole icon?
Now that I think about, removing just the % would leave that skinny battery icon leaving blank space. Removing the % and adding the wide, green icon would be great!

now you/re getting tricky...lol
Muff has a red one in that shape on his theme. I suppose you could fill in the percents and hue/saturate it to green for each of the 100 images.. Proabably want to do the charging ones to match but cleave the percents in there so.. 200 images... sounds daunting but I edited those 200 battery images in about 15 minutes... you get a rythm going.

Yes I'm Including The Honeycomb Version.
Awesome wallpaper selection
Figure out how to do away with the international data roaming pop up... and having roaming banner under display turned off doesn't for it neither does *228 option 2....
This pop up happens when I go from verizon signal to thumb cellular signal and the pop up keeps my screen on until I acknowledge it which kills my battery.

I am just curious, not trying to be snarky, but have you gone through the backgrounds offered in zedge or HD Wallpapers? I find 90% of them to be not my style, but out of the remaining 10% I've been able to have a nice small personal collection of backgrounds. And of the 90% that aren't my style, I still find most of them to be high quality and desireable to someone with different tastes than myself.

So, I don't know if this is a dumb question or not, but I was wondering if there is something I can flash that will just change my lock screen cause I'm tired of the lock screen where I just have two options....slide right to unlock and slide left for sound. I'm running Eclipse v1. 3. Any answers would be much appreciated. Thanks

I don't know about flashing to change lockscreen...
but you can try widgetlocker, go locker, QQlauncher, or something similar from market to change up your lockscreen ...there are a few apps available that allow for customized lockscreen ...even allowing u to add widgets or custom sliders to the lockscreen ...
good luck
Liberty X3 you can choose the rotation slider.
On Molten you can choose rotary too.
Ash is right though, those would be the best options.

I just don't want it killing my battery
Sent from my DROID X2 using XDA App
yeah I understand that...
I was also trying to find a way to just replace an apk or something easy like flashing something to get different lockscreen so I don't have an app constantly running to change it...
hopefully someone who knows how to make flashable locksxreens will see this and give us a few choices
ICS theme has a nice lockscreen!
I'm thinking about trying out Liberty 3
Sent from my DROID X2 using XDA App
Lockscreens are difficult to add. There aren't any options for an actual lockscreen replacement (besides using Molten or Liberty which allow for Rotary). Lockscreen changes require much smali editing that doesn't seem worth it.
I just hope we can get CM7 soon...
If you want. Go to UOT Kitchen and upload your systeemUI and framework-res apks and make your own lock screen with the options there" then it will cook you a flashable zip. Its pretty neat!

Magic Lock is great
Magic Lock from the market is nice. they have 20 or so different themes with different locks and shortcut keys to apps while your phone is locked. Heres a screen shot of my current lock screen.
How's that on your battery?

Is the lockscreen really that big of a deal? I have seen multiple post of you asking for your lockscreen. I believe you even tried liberty x and still not happy. Seems like a lot of work for a lockscreen.
Haha. Well it's a big deal to me. They coulda at least made the lockscreen on Liberty more customizable

Just seems like many people gave you options and you are very hard to please. I personally like the lockscreen for the ICS theme. You should check those out in theme section. Then if all else fails start by Google uop kitchen and learn to make your own.
Ive been very happy with WidgetLocker. Im trying out MagicLocker right now though just to change it up. If you are worried about battery life, just stay with the default lock screen. Any locker app will probably have an effect on your battery. Sorry.
the lockscreen is a pretty big deal to me.
I settled on widgetlocker.
Its not as good as CHT & winmo, but its the best I found so far.
Go Locker is one of my favs. After switching to this from Widget Locker, I've noticed a little better battery life. I would try it out for a while.
Is anyone else getting these spam adds showing up in there notification area saying things like you've won an Ipad and such. They show as a plus symbol when the status bar is in its regular position.
I want to find out how I cab prevent these spam notifications from occurring. Any suggestions?

I have them too. I think mine come from an ics theme I got for go locker. I love the theme so I deal with them, but they are very annoying. Sometimes porn ones too - not cool. If you find out anything let me know.

find the app that is causing them and uninstall. these background spam ads use up a bit of much need battery life =|
That's the hole purpose of this post. I don't know which app is causing this so I was hoping someone else does.

install this https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.brosmike.airpushdetector and run it on your phone.it will show you which app is causing the adds.
I know 'easy uninstaller' by info life and 'mp3 download' with the red circle icon gave me spam on the notification bar.

Is there a way to have the battery shown with its percentage? I am on the official rom, not rooted...

I use the same thing, has 1% increments. Works like a charm!
Thanks, is this a separate icon?
Because i have a very long carrier name , everthing else that is added on the bar is hidden, except of course the default at top right

Try Carrier Name app and change your carrier name to something shorter or remove it altogether.
Unfortunately carrier name is not working on all phones...
Not working on mine.

Battery Circle is an awesome percentage app. It shows it on the status bar on the far left with different options. Check it out.

The icon has been on my status bar since yesterday. I dont remember seeing it over the weekend. Anyone else have this one on? Its not the GPS icon. I had to search the web to even find out what it is. Not affecting battery life as I got 14 usable hours yesterday.
I believe if you have Google location settings enabled it shows the icon on the notification bar. Technically it does effect your battery life but only very slightly

Thank you for the response. I found out that it is normal to see it. I found a .zip to remove the icon from the status bar.
Could you give me a link to the zip?
