I don't care what Youtube can do I want to split my video files myself. is there any way to get this because I want to record my local Linux User Group meetings without having to call a stop to the whole meeting every 30 minutes to restart the recording.
Even if this app could just split the video into 30 minute segments if it felt like it I wouldn't mind that but this is really irritating.
Please help I've lost 3 meetings to this horrible problem.
I'm currently running the Nexus S with MiUi rom with the stock android camera app.
Please let the droid overloards supply me with a solution to this issue...
i could help
you are wrong. youtube upload limit is 15 minutes not 30 minutes.
i could upload videos in youtube longer than 15 minutes (actually up to 6 hours).
its something like breaking the upload limit. i could possibly help.
upload your LONG 720p vid to mediafire or 4shared.
then tell me the link.
i will upload into youtube 720p and send u the video link.
BUT TELL ME IF YOU WANT ME TO MAKE THE VIDEO
PRIVATE OR PUBLIC OR UNLISTED.
this is not a joke post. i AM DAMN SERIOUS. i can break the upload limit.
regards

and if you still dont want me to upload the ENTIRE VIDEO,
you can upload it part-by-part (each part 15 minutes)
with windows movie maker or
use the thread here to find good video splitters:

(the softwares are for different purpose in the thread, but they can split too.)

I'm trying to upload a video to youtube with my galaxy S.
I got it uploaded but my question is:
Is there a way to upload in higher resolution that 240p??
The video looks fantastic on my phone but when its on youtube you can barely make anything out.
Any help would be great
(i tried searching but couldn't find alot of info)
Thanks in advance
Videos I upload I think look really good... how long ago did it upload? Videos right after their uploaded can be viewed, but are still being optimized.. 30 minutes after an upload is complete and the video should look great. Have you altered your camera video settings?
Simple question, I'm sure it's possible with some sort of hack or tweak in a setting. I have searched in both google and on this forum, and have seen ways it can be done with droid phones and such. Even if it can be changed to an hour or similar time would be great so it can be changed as need be.
Surely someone knows of a way...
30 minutes = 1 gig of ram memory (estimate)
That 30 minute "VIDEO" gets put towards the ram memory.
Then later when video recording is finished, it processes and gets stored as its file.
The video is not saved until hitting the record button again, or just hitting the 30 minute mark.
There is no way of changing this, unless they lower the video camera quality.
Personally i use my video recorder quite frequently. Nothing more than 20 min. I hook it up to my car dock and do lap times with it. It's very responsive and has great fps, also it does cancel a lot of useless noise.
I would suggest try to go on the market and look for video recording apps. Or even google some homebrew apps.
I'm an editor workind on Avid.
As I checkd, My galaxy shooting 30 frames per seconds in 1920*1080P.
Im not from the US, where NTSC system is broadcasting. Our broadcast system is Pal (25pal can work fine).
What can I do?
I tried to use LgCamera, but somehow its not working propely, and I cant trust it.
Is there any other solutions? I prefer an application solution rather than changing ROM.
Of course this movie will try to win local festival, and get the chance to go to National Television.
Thanks a lot guys

Hello everyone.
I can only record video for 10 minutes and then phone automatically stops recording.
10 minutes limit is on FHD (1920x1080) 60fps option, if i turn to FHD but 30fps there is 25 minutes, but it's still not enough.
My card is formated in exFat, so 4GB problem doesn't exist.
Does anybody can make mod to camera apk to bypass this limit?
Chris
Same problem I noticed here. I'm trying to record road trips and that time limit surely doesn't help at all!
I'm saddened to see not a single reply yet.
I assume using some different camera apps could override that limit. Haven't tried though so can't confirm. Although I actually want to use the stock camera and prefer it over any other camera app.
Hoping to find a solution for this...
I have to fix the liinks because the forum does not allow me to use liinks, so I'll try to hide them from the filters using dot
Hi, first of all, this is my first thread, and I'm from Argentina so my english is very basic...
Here we go with the problem... I have a Xt910 with Android Jelly Bean (Official Brasil Retail), and i'm having some problems while recording videos.
There are 3 main problems, first is the quality recording 1080p videos... I don't know if this happens in all the xt910, but the video look so grainy, I don't know how to explain but I'll upload an example of me messin' around with my Numark Mixtrack Pro... It's just to show you what I'm talking about , the video I'll show you is 720p because 1080p videos are too large, but it's almost the same. I'd cut some seconds of video and uploaded the original to Tinyuppload
s000.tinyu.pload.com/index.php?file_id=02932312484516670403 (take off the dot on "tinyu.pload")
second problem is that while recording videos (most of my videos are DJ sets just for fun) the microphone stop working exacly at 10 minutes of recording, for 10 seconds and there start working again, I'll show you this putting a timecode over the parts on my set with 2 youtube videos, first stop working exacly at 10 min, and second stop at 20:10 min.

yo.utu.be/GZ_hHFTapDo (same as first linnk)
3rd problem is that camera changes the contrast or bright (I can't tell you exacly which one changes) like after 21 minutes of video... I'll upload a little example here... this happens every time I record videos, I don't do anything, just the camera changes the contrast by itself

Oh, here's a cap with my phone kernel, android version, etc.

I'm using the default camera app to record videos.
