Fixed it now, UOT's themes use amend scripting so cwm doesn't recognise it, managed to find a converter to change the scripting, thank you for the offer of help though
Sent from my X10 Mini Pro using xda premium

yes your right UOT doesn't have right script for our cwm

Yeah I messed around a bit then noticed the scripting error but used a converter I found from another part of the xda forums to make it work

Jbed working on x10 Mini Pro.
Hope this will work on Mini also
Download the files here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=7104312&postcount=3
First install the jbed.apk
Then copy the libjbedvm.so to /system/lib using root explore or adb.
Working only on Landscape.
Don't kniw why?
Working well on x10i.
If you open an app in portrait, app will appear with bad graphics.
Then rotate your device to landscape.
Now it will show well.
Check this on mini and post the result.
Attempted to use Pesterchum (Fan app based on a webcomic) downloaded here: http://www.mspaforums.com/showthread.php?30473-Pesterchum-2.0-TinyChum-1.2-UPDATE

You can download themes from the market just search cm7 theme your boot animation if you are using miks CM7, is in system/media/bootanimation.zip just find the zip file animation you want and put out in the system/media file and rename it bootanimation.zip also remember to make a back up of your original maybe on your sd card do it at your own risk I use root explorer when I do it I have never had a problem I change my boot animation often there are a lot out there if you look in our general forum you can find many

Well one super easy way would be to download the absolute system root App from the market. (requires root) there are very many boot animations to choose from. Goodluck.

Besides theming is a rather complicated process. For a noob it is indeed rather challenging (no offense). I suggest you do download ready made themes. There are many sleek/nice looking ones. :O just a suggestion. if you want the link for the themes do tell me.

Well, apparently you stopped reading when you spotted T-Mobile in subject. You do not need any T-Mobile to use that information.
Oh it would be great if you purchased your cell from Tmobile. If not then you would need the theme changer App which I think comes with cm7? (do confirm this). Only then can you switch between themes.
This is precisely why I told you its complicated.

[Q] (Q) please, i need help how to change status bar to transparent on x10 mini

please, i need help how to change status bar to transparent on x10 mini
i use minicm7 2.1.9.
I have x10 mini pro, so I can't tell you for sure.
I think you can't have transparent statusbar in minicm7 (I might be wrong though).
The tutorials I had found required a deobexed rom, and minicm7 is not deodexed.
If you install a deodexed rom, I think the easiest way would be through UOT kitchen.
Oh, it should be fairly simple really. I'm away from a PC right now but if you share your framework-res.apk and SystemUI.apk, I can run them through a tool I'm working on and do it for you.

Or I'll just do it myself.
I can't test this right now but it should work fine. Bear in mind that not every launcher will allow a transparent status bar anyway..

can you please share some details how did you do it?
did you use uot kitchen or zdune's patch? i tried with zdune's patch about 6 months ago but it didn't work, maybe it's working now..
None of the above. I did it myself. It's actually very simple. I'm working on a batch file that can do it for you on any rom at all.
But before then..decompile SystemUI.apk and framework-res.apk with apktool and then edit statusbar_background.9.png and title_bar_shadow.9.png to make them transparent. Recompile, get the compression right, stick into an update.zip and there you go!

Samsung mini keyborad + notepad working on Xperia X10 mini pro

Hello frnds, i have found this samsung keyboard (file attached) working fine on the Xperia mini pro (obviously only the soft keyboard). It is very nice so you can give it a try if you like..
Just incase you want to try.
1. Install zip on ur SD card
2. Go to recovery mode
3. Mount system and come back to install custom zip
4. Select the installed file in step 1 and reboot
5. Select samung keyboard as default in language and keyboard settings.
Update on 09.01.2013
Adding Notepad.apk, which is working fine on Gingerbread, ICS and Jellybean roms...very light weight and ofcourse useful..
Install as normal apk file or copy to /system/app using root explorer or anyother file management app. and change permission to rw-r-r
Click on thanks button if you like my posts..its make me do more

Hi guys. I need your help.
I love this keyboard but now my volume buttons aren't working. So, I can't go to CWM and flash this excellent keyboard.
Can I install it with root explorer? It's just a matter of copy system folder included in the zip?
Plz help
EDIT: Solved. Copied the zip files into /system with root explorer.
thanks
