CWM Manager APK ? - Galaxy S II Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hello gents,
Can you someone please post/upload the latest CWM Manager app.
Also will the app be compatible with HellcatKernel-v122_XXKH3?
For those who dont know what it is:
CWM Manager
Because of incompatibility with ROM Manager, Chainfire wrote "CWM Manager". This is a new app (as of March 30, 2011). You can find it under Applications -> CWM. It is much faster to use than manually booting into CWM and selecting these options.
Features:
- Boot to CWM
- Backup firmware
- Restore backups
- Delete backups
- Install APKs
- Flash CWM3 update.zip's
- Flash kernels (zImage, zImage in TAR, zImage in ZIP, zImage in TAR in ZIP) - without changing warning triangle status or increasing flash counter.

There is a copy in my 4shared, link in my sig.

Thank you!
As a newcomer, I always start with the first reading on to me then to thank him for one or the other post.
Why is there no THANKS button?

Check the file that is downloaded, I had to update it as I put the wrong one up initially.
Downloaded file should be UOT-04-23-17-03-3.
This has been corrected.
Thanks for the kind input.

What method are you using to do the install?
I have only installed via RECOVERY. (StreakMod or ClockworkMod)

Maybe try to download it again. Perhaps it has become corrupt.
Clockwork normally works better than StreakMod for this.
The redownload worked... Thanks
Any chance we can get this same battery meter and set of icons but make the icons a darker blue like the new blue update in your other thread?
Thanks
Sure, I will give it a go later today. I will update this thread.

Do i have to install in CWM or i have to extract it and copy to system/app?

of course, you can use both methods, but the zip is to be installed in recovery. Should work on CWM or xRecovery the same. But as I said, I am not sure it works, anyway, I did not test it, proceed with care , have first a backup.

[Q] Making a CWM Flashable ZIP?

Hi guys,
I'm turning to Resurrection Remix from Stock ROM, but I misses some of the stock apps. So before I moved to another ROM i have all the APKs and ODEXs ready. But after I build the ZIP with all the necessary directory and the updater-script file build using notepad++, CWM won't install it?
Any solutions? Thanks a million.

In the first folder data, are ur apps like apk file.
In the folder meta inf are 2 file's.
Update binary and updater script.
In updater script is the script u can edit for ur cwm install routine.
I edited the script for the apk that not installed.
That's my way.

i made 2 flashable zip's
1. modified SystemUI.apk of your rom (SystemUI[MOD].zip)
2. unmodified SystemUI.apk of your rom (SystemUI[Original].zip)
please download and copy both of them to External_SD
(reason is if you have problems you can restore original immediately)
- restart your phone and hold "Volume Up" + "Power" + "Home" buttons to boot into CWM
"install zip from sdcard "
"zip from sdcard"
"yes - Install SystemUI[MOD].zip
go back and choose "reboot system now"
DONE.
if it worked please update the topic title:
