[Q] Get gameboid working on Galaxy S2? - Galaxy S II Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Dear XDA-Developers,
How do I get Gameboid working on my Samsung Galaxy S II? After I select a ROM file the application gets stuck on a black screen and the app wants me to select a different ROM after a few seconds. I've tried a couple of ROM files already, but they all seem to not be working.
Thanks in advance.
Gregor

Works fine on my S2. Did you download and select a BIOS file?

works fine for me too

[Q] Help with galaxy tab 10.1

Hi all,
Sucks this has to be my first post but my galaxy tab p7500 is stuck in a boot logo loop and I have no idea how to fix it. I rooted my tablet and installed a custom rom and everything was working fine, I then decided I liked the original honeycomb 3.2 more so I proceeded to recover the backup that I had made before installing the custom rom. I cleared all data and the cache and ran the backup, it installed the backup and I rebooted, but now its suck on the samsung galaxy tab 10.1 logo. I can still access the recovery/download menu but dont know what to do, can someone help??
much appreciated
Do you have any other roms on the tablet sd-card? Then install that so that you at least have a booting tablet. Then find a stock-rom that you can install.
Honeycomb Stock Rom

[Q] Samsung SGS2 i9100 -- Chainfire3D Market Fix

I'm trying to get Galaxy on Fire 2 to work with my phone, SGS2.
Phone details:
Samsung Galazy SII i9100
Rooted
ClockworkMod 4.0.1.5
Cyanogenmod-9.1.0-galaxys2
Chainfire3D Pro v3.3, installed via CWM
Installed plugins QUALCOMM, NVIDIA, POWERVR
Default plugin selected: NVIDIA
I have hit Market fix a number of times, however I still can't pick Galaxy on Fire from search
I know I could sideload it, but I want to buy it, I haven't sideloaded any apps onto the phone and would like to keep it that way.
I have wiped the phone and installed Cyanogenmod yet Android Market still knows it is a "Vodafone Samsung Galaxy SII i9100" -- how do I remove the Vodafone tag?

[Q] Need help with the lock screen on Tab P7500 after ICS update

Dear all, need some help with my Samsung Tab 10.1 GT-p7500. I rooted it using the latest ROM manager from CM and upgraded it to ICS, using the custom ROM P7500XWLPD_P7500DBTLP3_P7500XXLQ8. Everything works perfectly fine, including Wi-Fi and 3G SIM except for the high graphics games (which either hang or are just displayed in form of lines) and occasional freezing. The device also doesnt lock anymore and also doesnt provide the Turn off confirmation screen after pressing the power button (goes off automatically in about 1.5 sec of pressing the button). Any suggestion, any more stable ROM I should be using? Any other solution? Please help....

note 3 sm n9006 I rooted it, what do i now?

I own a samsung galaxy note 3 Sm n9006. As some of you know, there is no google play there. I rooted my phone and I confirmed by running the program root checker. I tried downloading the zip file of gapps that suits my android version. However, when I go to the power mode, it keeps on getting restarted. When I released those buttons it turns on like how it does normaly. I dont know if this helps, but there is a logo saying google play store, but whenever I try to open it, I fail to do so. Please help me, and I am not that much of a computer wizzard.

Hello I am new in this forum. And i have the same problem.
"E:System is not installed - preventing reboot!"
I am able to push the on/off button and to turn in the following 2 options.
1.) DOWLOADING MODE
2.) TWRP TEAMWIN RECOVERY PROJECT VERSION 2.2.0 (within this I have many options like, install, backup, restore, Wipe, Mount Settings, Advanced and so on.)
If i only turn on the Tablet P7500 i get errore message at the screen:
"FIRMWARE UPGRADE ENCOUNTERED AN ISSUE. PLEASE SELECT RECOVERY MODE IN KIES & TRY AGAIN"
I have installed KIES but the TABLET has been recognised!!
I wanted to install ROM of this post
Thanks for your help in advance.

Your best bet in my opinion, is reinstalling the stock firmware with Odin and your tablet in download mode. From there you can start re-rooting and reflashing a custom recovery.
I know, it's a lot of lost time, but at least you'll be able to flash your custom ROM at end

Thanks, DONE and Working again.
I installed Android 5.1.1 Lollipop from here but im my case very unstable many crashes, maybe i did something wrong.
Wifi does not work and the other side very often frozen images.
I would only to speed a littble bit up my TAB P7500
Thanks.
I have the same ROM installed on my tablet and WiFi is working fine here. However there are the Google play services that keep crashing when it automatically updates itself to the latest version. There's pretty much nothing you can do to stop it, except for uninstalling the Google play services and replacing it with the last version that worked, over and over again...
I don't remember what version that was exactly but it's mentioned in the same thread where you got the custom ROM from.
Unless Google decides to fix what it broke all the devices running an Nvidia tegra 2 SoC are left in the cold.
What I'm going to say now is probably not what you'll be wanting to hear, it's time to look for a new tablet
