I just made the switch over to go launcher ex & I really like the default theme but there are so little icons. Does anyone have custom icons for the default theme but for a lot more apps? I have searched everywhere, but can't find the default theme... thanks!

Thanks... I searched through already but maybe I will take another pass. I had LPP on my EVO 4G with tons if stock icons so it seems odd that it's different with go launcher.
Hi Folks !
I've got a question for you all ? Hope you can tell me more.
I've got a *.mtz file.
I have extracted the icons folder.
Question is :
How can I turn these icons into an icon pack compatible with Go Launcher EX ?
Thanks for your help.

Now that the X10 Mini has been rooted, can someone make an HTC Desire theme, with icons and wallpaper?
I have tried Pandahome, aHome, xHome etc but none of them change the icons, they only change the Settings and Internet icons.
There is adw launcher in market and different themes, which have different icons.

Well, I tried ADW but it did not theme the icons.
You dont need root to change the icons and wallpaper.
Wallpaper i guess you know already.
To change the Icons you need Bettercut and preferably Open Home from the same developer.
You will need a Market enabler if you are not able to buy apps currently to see those apps cause i believe both are pay-apps.
And I'm asking again.
I rooted the phone and still theming is nowhere.
aHome, PandaHome, xHome, BetterCut, ADW Launcher DO NOT WORK. They only theme the YouTube, Browser and Settings icons. Can I do something else? As I said, I've already rooted the phone so I can do anything you want me to.
ADW launcher v. 1.1.3 have a sweet option for custom shortcuts.
It let you create a shortcut on the homescreen, and let you choose a custom name and picture for the icon.
it works great for giving your homescreen a special look

You are talking about changing the icon inside the App-Drawer? Then i agree , you can't change them with the launchers and so on. ADW.Launcher does theme more of them thant you are describing. Probably all icons , BUT it is the icon pack that must have the appropriate icons for the apps you want to have themed. I am just now running the Sticker pack for ADW and there are a lot more themed icons.
Bettercut and so on can only (as far as i know) theme them when you make a shortcut on one of your homescreens.
Whatever this has to do with a Desire theme though i have no idea.
hey
I wanted to ask how I ui so graphically how to fix the ...

Does anyone know how to change icon in go launcher? or is it only available in the go launcher ex version?
what do you guys suggest on a great launcher that can customize the icons that doesnt eat up alot of battery and ram but still can give enough room for customizing the feel and look

I think you are already using GO Launcher EX (which is totally free).
If you are referring to the icons in the dock, then to change the icon, just tap and hold then select "replace icon". You can also download GO Launcher themes and apply them to change the icons look and feel.
I think GO Launcher EX is a quite decent and fully customizable, but if you prefer launchers similar to stock ICS, then try Apex launcher (free).
I wouldn't worry at all about ram or performance, as Galaxy S3 is more than capable for such simple tasks.
I just downloaded a theme. Does anyone know where it is stored so that i can add my custom icons?
I have searched and searched for a decent tutorial on how to create or modify an icon pack that can be used with Apex, Nova, or Go Launcher. I have decompiled an apk to see how it works, but I cannot figure out what exactly needs to be edited. However, I do see the folder full of the icons, but I'm not sure what I need to do with some of the XML files. Can anyone point me in the right direction??
I basically want to create a icon pack later, but for now.. I have made a couple icons that I want to add to an existing icon pack I'm using. Thanks guys!

Bump! I would love to know this myself!
Here is a tutorial for Apex:

Here is a tutorial for Go launcher:

And for nova launcher you can use the icon packs you created for go launcher to work with nova launcher.

I wanted to mod the icons/themes, but do not know how to go about....
Is it all with the flashing new themes with CWM and even icons are the same?
Do we get icons for the default launcher with SGS3 or do we need to change the launcher to get the icons/themes?
Any tutorials would be real helpful,
Thanks guys
