[Q] Creaky back cover ? - HTC EVO 3D

Hi everybody
I'm currently annoyed because of my back cover which creaks easily.
It was the same with the Incredible S.
So, I would like to know if this is kinda "normal", or if this is a not so common problem with the Evo 3D.
Thx

No creaking for me.

Replacement back cover kick stand?

Are there an replacement covers which feature a kickstand. I've seen cases with a kickstand but I'm not a big fan of cases on the EVO 3d.

I've been looking for one myself and have not found one. I settled with the Seidio case with kickstand. It does add bulk but Ive gotten used to it and it was a good thing I had a case cause I've already dropped it once even though I have been careful with my phone since I bought it on release day.

Your best bet is going to be a thin case with a builtin kickstand. I would say go with the Body Glove case that is offered by Sprint (I believe Amazon sells it also). It is super thin and adds almost nothing to the phone as far as thickness goes. Unfortunately, the only colors its available in are pink and purple. There is a thread in this forum that shows how one user sanded it down and then repainted it with black spray paint so that may be something you want to consider.

[Q] EVO 3D Ghost Armor

Hey guys. I was planning on getting ghost Armor for my EVO 3D but wanted to know if anyone has tried it for the 3D and what their experiences where. Seems like a nice product

Dude, I would go with Best Skin Ever. Same protection, but like $20 cheaper. I use for all my devices.

In my opinion both ghost armor and best skins are terrible. Eventually the skins start to peel. If you put the phone in your pocket a lot expect it to peel after a month or less.

I'm not sure, there is a tear down guide in the accessories forum, I've never tried taking mine apart, there's glue and a lot of ribbon connectors, untiI I get a spare phone I'm not gonna risk it.

Love the case... Just be careful of the spring clip... Tends to wear out... Contemplating cutting off the camera cover.. Only thing stopping me is walking in the rain

yea, the cover doesn't let the camera activate by holding it down.

Mine does.. It's a hard press and you have to hold longer than without case

Long press works
just tested mine long press works fine...
I think i like the OG EVO's case a little better....
But the layered design of these things has saved my phones more then once
I have the surface

Just received the active, super nice case. I like how it covers/seals the buttons. Buttons still have great feel. Inner cover is nice, not as hard and slick as tpu, and not as sticky as silicone/gel. Give you a great grip on the phone. No worries now.

Where to get a white kickstand?

I have the black Evo and I tightened my kickstand too much and now whenever I tighten it nothing happens so I have to get a new one. I tried looking for a silver kickstand and i haven't found it so I was wondering if anyone knew where I could possibly find one?
What in the world were u doing tightening a already stiff kickstand?
U probably aren't going to have much luck since the phone is still fairly new. I would guess Ur best bet is to search for local authorized sprint repair centers

HTC EVO LTE
Just get a red one and sand it down

Mine became loose within a month of owning the phone.. I found a thread on fixing the issue and it requires tightening the nut, and even a drop of super glue to prevent it from happening again like I did..
