Hello all,
Recently i was given a Streak 5 that is unlocked to be use with T-Mobile. I am having issue with the menu button. Every time i pressed to get to the setting of the app's, it goes back to the previous screen, more like a back button then a menu button. Have anyone experience this issue before and how do you resolve it?
Is this b/c its unlocked or a defective phone? This is the only known issue with this phone. Thanks!
Maybe more information and greater detail about your issue would be good. I am not really not really sure what buttons and selections you are making.
Also, what launcher are you using and is the device rooted? And what version of Android and are you using a custom rom?

The #6 below is what i'm having issue with. If i am in an application (Google Voice) and would like to go to the 'settings' within the application, every time i pressed the button #6, it would not open the setting but instead, act as if it is a 'back' button.
I've never rooted before but this is the info from the phone:

Have you attempted a factory reset of the Streak?
yes, I've reset and re-calibrated with no luck.

Hey there everyone.
I have an issue after upgrading from 2.3.7 to HyDrOG3N's 4.0.4.
Previously, I was using some features of GO Launcher. Including the screenlock.
Now, after upgrading to 4.0.4, I realized I don't need GO Launcher as Android 4.0 gives a lot of the same features, so I removed it. But I still got this when I turn on the screen:

Any combination will work to open this screenlock, and I can't seem to manage to remove it!!!
I tried searching all options and settings.
Would appreciate some help.
Using only the rom, no additional launchers or screenlocks (unless it somehow passed with TitaniumBackup, I didn't find any)

Go into settings>security and change the screen lock, if that doesn't work you probably have to go back to 2.3.7 and remove the pattern lock and then install your new rom.

Hi guys, a beginner here. I have a pressing question here. I run a GT-I9300 on Android 4.1.1 (just rooted). Not running any custom ROM at the moment. Kernel is 3.0.31 - 288630. Build number is XXDLJ1. Baseband is XDLI5.
The problem I have is that when I want to customise my Lock Screen setting (please see screen shot),

, it crashes and tells me "Unfortunately, Settings has stopped working." .
I have done Factory Reset TWICE haha and for a while, it works. Then, it reverts to type again. I only had this phone for 5 days now. I love the screen with Gorilla Glass and I can customise the Home & Lock Screen a lot (I used to have an iPhone 4) but the OS seems very unstable at this point of time.
Any advice would be much appreciated!
Try clearing the data of settings under settings->applications->all there is two things to do with settings clear the data of them both and then restart your phone. That's helped for me before.

Hi. Just recently flashed ParanoidAndroid 3+ on my phone. But I am having some issues with it. The biggest issue was It seems I can't access to HYBRID SETTINGS. When I tried to apply some settings, it says reboot, I reboot, after reboot, nothing changes, nothing happened. I wanted to change the size/resolution because its too small but its not working. I am having a hard time hitting the options due to small fonts/resolution. 2nd issue was I can't send SMS because it says service not available.. What's wrong with my phone?:s Did I do something wrong upon installation with ParanoidAndroid?

it is not what i expect to look like. As you can see only the PA colors has a description.

As you can see, the size setting is set to 0. which is too small. when i try to move the button to right to change size, it won't move :/

Just sharing info if anyone wants it. The Kyocera Hydro Edge is releasing nationwide with Sprint on Friday 7/19. I just received some in stock today, and like I do with all new phones I had to turn it on and play with it a bit.

somethings wrong with my phone it keeps turning off and on at random I've tried factory reset and wipe cache partition but it does nothing phone still continues to reboot by its self after reading online I seen a Ubuntu phone version of this one if so how would I install it on mine I just want to be able to use my phone without it rebooting

In old versions of Android ( Kit Kat for me at least ) android had a option that when you hold the Power Button a message panel with pop out with different options which includes quickly changing Volume Profiles without needing to unlock your device.

Since Lollipop update ( I recently update it to lollipop) this options has been removed.
I was wondering if there's any app or xpose module that lets me quickly choose between sound profiles without the need to unlock my phone. Preferably from the Lockscreen or holding the power button as before.
