I had xperia X10 mini and i love X10 mini keypad...
Now i have xperia mini pro sk17i...but i love my old keypad from x10 mini...
how to install keypad from x10 mini to new mini sk17i...
i tried to install SuquashiInputMethod.apk but FC problem and dont work...

you dont understed me, i have on my xperia mini pro sk17i new keypad, but i love old one (from x10 mini on left picture), but i cant install old keypad (pictures x10 mini and x8 keypad not new xperia mini keypad)

No. You dont get it. Its the same keypad ok.

Maybe you can try to use ES File Explorer to go into system/app and look for the x8 or x10mini keyboard. Then share with bluetooth to send it to your sk17i and install.

keypad for x10 mini is SuquashiInputMethod.apk, but when istall SuquashiInputMethod.apk just get forced close problem

so, how did you manage to do this?
with root explorer (in rooted phone)
copy
SuquashiInputMethod.apk copy to System/app
libZiEngine.so copy to System/lib
zi file cpoy to system/usr
robyn_keypad.kcm.bin copy to system/usr/keycharts
robyn_keypad.kl copy to system/usr/keylayout

if you re in a cyanogen custom rom go to:
settings-interface-overscroll effect and select bounce for gingerbread roms or something similar for froyo roms

i had cyanocomb and with overscrolling enabled had no problem

Asa you see the 'sony ericsson' logo are you pressing 'back' button repeatedly? If you are its either not installed or not installed properly,did you put the 3 files 'busybox,chargemon and xrecovery tar' in the system/bin folder?

Did you change the permisions on the 3 files you added to system/bin?

Can i ask what the need for xrec is? I mean we have a decent CWM version and most roms if not all for mimmi and robyn use updater_script(CWM) instead of update_script(xrec). If im wrong please correct me. But yeah just curious as to why?

Reinstall xrecovery using the latest superoneclick, I had the same problem.
i had tested al ROM,and im using GinTonic too.

i think you bought an Xperia Mini Pro not a x10 mini pro
so you re in the wrong thread
you should better fint the proper thread for your device because if you use any software from here might brick your device
(i made that assumption from the build you posted. the latest build of x10 mini pro is 2.1.C.0.0 and for this reason it is impossible for you to have a x10 mini pro with the build you posted)

So, let me clear it out. Xperia X10 mini pro (U20i) is not your phone. Yours is Xperia mini pro (SK17i). Be careful, don't get confused... ;-)

I think he means st15i xperia mini, because it's running ics. So check out DragonClawsAreSharp's tutorial here. But only if you mean the xperia mini st15i, cause x10 mini is u20i. Just go to system settings -> information > and look if there's the name of the phone and look for the firmware version (like 4.1.B.0.431)
