Hey, as you know, the 2011 xperias are now releasing android 2.3.4 and was wondering if there was any way we could flash the software over to the x10. If so, will the flash include facebook inside xperia 2.0? thanks

Q&A
Actually don't open it I'll answer it now. If you want Facebook 2.0 I'm sure someone will port it, if you want 2.3.4, scroll down two items and there is 2.3.5.
There isn't much difference between the versions anyway, and if there is, it won't matter to us anyway.
If you want to look good in front of your friends, go to build prop and change android version to 25543.3
If you want a vacation keep posting in the wrong sections so next time QUESTIONS IN Q&A please.

Wrong. There is not much difference in the system, but what he wants is the new Xperia features such as 3D panorama sweep, Facebook Inside Xperia 2.0, etc.

I just got the ability to update to to 4.1.83.
Is this the update with the real new radio that enabled HSDPA+ and etc.
I currently have GreyBlur v2.1 w/ side-loading & tethering & the baseband 1.87 for the "fake enabled better 3G speeds" thing.
Can this new update be rooted, tethered, side-load, etc. Or is it like an entirely new firmware? Is it worth it to get this new update?
I am confused and cannot find a good source, sorry.... Thanks!

I'd do a SEARCH, to find out if all 39 posts were like this, but maybe I'll make a new thread?
I would just appreciate an answer then I will delete this, I am aware it is common but after search am still confused. Sorry for my incompetence on a issue I am completely new to.

Why doesn't everyone let admins do their thing and quit being so dramatic about rule breaking?

Because that is no fun.
To the OP:

your other thread and answer wasnt enough? you had to create another thread asking the same thing??? And you're getting snippy with other people about reading the question???? Well.. maybe you should read the XDA rules again and learn how to post. You had one thread already for this...There was no need to create another..
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1808995
It works just fine on LG8 with a small modification just like I said in your other thread...

You must be doing something wrong.
I have ported a million ROMs using a similar method

I would have but the thing is uploading is really a pain in the ass.
Second thing there will always be noobs complaining or asking silly questions and I got a really bad temper.
Most of all I haven't developed a ROM so I just don't feel like it.
Sent from my MT11i using xda app-developers app
Point taken and agreed!
However you could always make a mod containing what all tweaks or scripts you added and upload it ! ! !
Considering Rom would be too big and it wouldn't give you a pain in your ass for updating and stuffs!
Just my 2 cents!

I saw this thread in one of the forums and could relate to most of them.. so just post and complete this sentence "You know you're rooted when.."..
had a hearty laugh at some ones.. so thought I should share em with you guys..
Examples:
wscott9903: You know you're rooted when 1/2 of your apps require superuser permission.
feralicious: You know you're rooted when your spouse tells you they're leaving you and taking the kids and you think "perfect timing, (insert dev name here) just released a new ICS ROM".
jayochs: you know you're rooted when your phones buggy as hell lol
putney1477: You know you're rooted when, you husband, wife, significant other gets a new phone and says, don't you dare come near this phone, it works fine!
jackpot08: You know your rooted when when spend more time flashing roms than using your phone..
Add more if you have some good ones. .
Hit the thanks button if you all like it..

You know you're rooted when someone asks you to take a picture, and laugh because the camera isn't working in this nightly.
You know your rooted when your favorite dev hasn't released an update recently and your having flash withdrawl symptoms.

This doesn't really relate to our device. More so a general root thread. Which I think may fit more appropriately in the general forum (not our general forum, the main one not phone specific).
