[Q] How to change system buttons/shortcuts? - Galaxy S II Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi guys!
Is it possible to change hardware buttons behaviour?
For example, the double press of the home button calls vlingo, what if I want it to call Google Voice Actions?
Or, a long press of the home button pops-up the list of recently used application, what if I'd like it to open an other task manager I installed from market?
Thank you so much!!

[Q] When double pressing the home button - open other app (not vilingo) how?

Hey guys, I bought an app called "Cyberon Voice Speed Dialer". I would like the double pressing on the home button to launch that specific app.
Currently double pressing launches the Vilingo / Google speak app which is no use to me at all.
I hope this is possible,
Thanks!

Click to collapse
You can disable the S voice on double tap
Open S voice then tap the menu button and in settings remove the tick from the Launch SVoice
There is a market app called Home Shortcut or something like that which allows you to select what you want the home button to do this may be what you want

Deinstalled S Voice now. But if I push the headset button on the headset it opens a window, that shows "initializing".
I also tried to replace the shortcut for double tapping the home button. Doesnt work. Still tries to open the S Voice. Even if it is uninstalled.
Maybe it is somewhere in the programing... so I have to edit the survey that starts S Voice if i double tap?!
Do you know how to do this?

[Q] Remapping capacitive keys

Trying to remap the long press on the menu button on my S5 by editing the .kl files.
Managed to get single press to open menu, but long press refuses to do anything other than open first the google search, then samsung's search apps.
EDIT: Partially solved, nova launcher was set to open search, now it only opens the samsung one. Still doesnt open recent apps.
Xposed framework button remapper manages to do it, so I know it's possible, but there's no hapatic feedback
All suggestions welcome!
