I love the look of this but it seems to be a pretty big battery hog being a live wallpaper. Does anyone know of a comparable / similar clock that might not be as brutal on my battery?

I've purchased Fancy Widget is this what you are talking about? Among that there are NUMEROUS others.
Go weather has a free skin for it.

I use Beautiful Widgets, the latest version. Although the best BW clock IMO was the last version before the C&D letter went out. Unfortunately the google weather updates stopped working with that version as well.
Fancy Widgets is nice, too. They have a new version that merged the old free and Pro versions. But if you like extra toggles and such, for the money I think Beautiful Widgets is a better value.
Of all I've tried fancy widget pro is best using the h7c clock and weather skins.

Hey guys, I just recently switched over to CM7 and i'm missing my clock. Is there any known way to install the clock widget into CM7 or do i have to buy beautiful widgets. This kind of bothers me, but other than that, i'm loving CM7!
There is no known way to get that clock in CM7. What I do to get it is use Fancy widgets with the HC7 Clock skin. Cannot tell the difference between the two, but the problem is I think you need the paid version of Fancy Widgets to do this (Got mine for free through the amazon app store).
Toasty's right. You need the Sense framework to get the clock working. I mean its possible, but improbable.
Fancy Widgets got rid of the paid one so just get that and you'll br good

There is still pay version it just is set up different than it used to be and is a different app in market

Just search sense clock in market tons of apps some free, some pay with more options

As you can see in the scree shot my screen is using dark greys and blue and the icons and the Google bar are ever so slightly transparent. However the Facebook widget screws things up being that it is bright white.
Is there anyway to change the color of the widget transparency is not such a big issue but color would be nice to change. Is it possible?
Running unnamed 2.2.1 if that matters.

Try using Android Pro Widgets from the Market. That's what I use. Perhaps you can find a theme that might work better with your setup. I've NEVER liked the stock Facebook widget for Android.

Free widgets or paid? for me im using HD widgets best customization IMO. also beautiful widgets are not bad as well

Try "one more clock free". You can have this Chrome rings clock/weather widget that looks exactly the same as one from new razrs. except for fliping rings
I use the circle one ripped from the Atrix HD.
I like Fancy Widgets. No conflicts, updates smoothly. Easily customizable appearance.

palmary weather is pretty well
bringing this back since im looking for a new weather widget... i was using GO weather EX and it was ok but looking for something with a lil more detail... also i want to know the actual temperature and not just what it "feels like" ... i would actually like to know both! LOL

Fancy Widgets (app update was last done in Jan 2012, not a fan of slow update and fix app)

I would rather prefer yahoo weather widget. it updstes every 30 minutes and is perfect on my smartphone. also includes a notification icon which shows weather and also a notification widget too

Agreed! You can build whole new clock-weather widgets from the default ones. I think it's not a specific weather widget, but kind a cool and quite stable. Recommended!:good:

HD Widgets is on sale right now .99. It's on par with BW and it's weather widget will use Weatherbug data.
Does anyone have a high res app drawer icon? The one used by nova looks blurry to me.
