My advice is don't install that apk again, find another source, or a different app for the purpose. I think many of us have had this problem before, best advice i can give is do a full nandroid backup before you install unknown apks.

First of all, I'm french, so sorry for my bad english.
I have already used the beta 3 without problems... But this time, I have forgotten to flash the pack of apk which contains the market and several apps.
The problem is that I cannot acces to the recovery to flash it or the beta3..
Most of all, my X10 reboots after 1 minute..
EDIT : Now after every reboot, I got something like 10 Force Close..................
Need some help please
Can anyone help me ?
Use SEUS or Flash Tool 0.2.6 using clean ROM...

Did you flash the latest SE Firmware? Zdizihu clearly says that the new KERNEL and BASEBAND are needed so i also suggest you to use SEUS to flash the latest firmware and then use Xrecovery to flash Beta4

Hi
Please excuse my Japanglish, as well.
I had a perfectly working X10i, and installed FreeX10 Beta4. I preferred stock 2.1 rom so I tried to restore the back up I createded Xrecovery. Then it went something wrong, and I get this endless "force close" message saying system failed starting when I start up. So I cannot get to the programs now which can restore the system. No matter how many times I reboot it is same. Is my phone so called "Bricked"? Is there any way I can start restoring program by pushing bottoms when I boot up before Free X10 kicks in? This is a really costly error.
Hey guys, I recently rooted my mini pro and downloaded the perfect rom bt now I have issues getting my phone into recovery mode to install the rom. Iv tried xrecovery bt when I open the application and click the "install Xrecovery " button at the top, it loads 4 a while and then a whole lot of ticks appear on the left, bt three crosses aswel and it doesn't install. Am I maybe doing sumthing wrong? Did I miss a step? Or is the folder saved to the wrong place on my sd card ?
Please can you help me

i am trying to load my SE x10 mini pro with android 2.3 (ginger bread).
i have tried various options from various sites including the above post

i have reinstalled xrecovery a number of times trying different versions but to no avail... can anybody give me any advice on why xrecovery wont boot or what i might possibly have done wrong?
thanks a million in advance for any help and light you guys might be able to shed on my problem.

Hi there guys.
Recently i bought a LG Optimus Chat C550 and tried to root it using this method which worked great!
After that i installed a few apps including Rom Manager and tried to install ClockWorkMod Recovery though Rom Manager. It ask me which model my phone was but since it didn't had my model there i chose 1 that said "And others", the phone rebooted after awhile and now its stuck on LG screen.
I've been trying everything but with no luck, my PC doesn't recognize the phone nor ADB.
I'm not a expert just usually follow guides/tutorials. I can't find anything about how to fix it here on the forum or on google :/
Does anyone know how i can get it fixed?!
Thanks in advance

Hi I have done exactly the same thing to mine Got a second hand C550 and rooted it then downloaded rom manager then selected phone Optimus V and now just stuck on the LG screen and lights on the qwerty keypad flashing on and off - tried doing a full factory reset by holding end/send/down volume at the same time and that didnt work, if you get any news or fix will you let me know please and I will do the same if I find out something. Cheers.
Anytime I try to backup or install a new rom on rom manager, it redirects to that screen with android green robot and a box ant it keeps like that for some 2 seconds and when cellphone goes on, it is on default options of native rom like it was the first time i used it.
ps. it happens when i click to restart for “save clockworkmod“ (idk how its exactly written on rom manager but means it )
I need so muvh how to resolve it, i want so ****ing much to use cyanogenmod on my e510
i think your phone is going to recovery but yours is only stock recovery try to install cwm

But the problem is that everytime I try to download Clockworkmod from ROM Manager, it don't download until the end or it downloads but when cellphone reboots, is on default like I said before. :crying:
If I install Clockworkmod in a "non-ROM Manager" mode, can I backup my ROM/install Cyanogenmod 9? If answer is "yes", how can I do this?
I need a solution from this silly problem please
