Hello, can anyone teach me step by step of how to use data2sd mod on my Xperia mini pro(SK17i) stock Rom?
The reason for me wanted this is because I love to install apps and games like A LOT and now I'm running out of phone memory. I want to install as many apps and games as I desire and with data2sd its possible.
So can anyone kindly help me? Or probably help others too?
Thanks!

If u mean dta2sd or link2sd you must have root.
To get root youll need to unlock bootloader.
Check dev section

Well the title says it all, whats the difference on having the offcial GB rom,and then root it,and having the pre-rooted GB rom.
BTW,i have the pre-rooted one, with no bugs and the newest xrec for GB
thanks

Thanks mate,another issue to report???
Hi there all! And happy new year!!!
Couple of questions,
First, Zoner antivirus found this the exploits, should i be worried?
1: File is infected: exploit.AndroidOS.Lotoor.G -sdcard/bluetooth/SdxAppRemoval-1.5.apk
I removed the app, scan, removed
2: App is infected: Exploit.AndroidOS.Lotoor.G com.caspian.android.removal
Phone is rooted by Superoneclick
Android: 2.3.4
Build: 4.0.2.A.0.42
Second question, if i upgrade to .62, will the phone still be rooted?
And finally, any use of lookout antivirus? Cus it did not seem to find any exploit, but Zoner did.
HAPPY NEW YEAR! 2012! )
Wast of time there is no need for such apps

Yap, i did. Useless as i have titanium installed.
But telephone acting weird. it wont turn off properly, but only restarting,
Lots of apps keep on crashing (java error) and so
And i wanted to do a flash with wotan, but halfway it stops..
So my Neo is kinda full of bugs...

Did your device rooted? Try to install cwm recovery, then format system, format data, format cache, format sd card, dont reboot your phone, select mount sd card, then put one of the custom ROM (ex, SE Tweaked) to your sd card, unmount, then flash the rom, reboot.
If your bootloader was unlocked, i recommend you to flash inteks or doomkernel first, cause it has built in cwm recovery, so you dont have to worried if flashing doesnt work.
Use it with your own risk.
Let me know if its help.

If locked bl not se-tweaked

My bootloader is locked.
Can i use CWM Recovery and format as stated above and then use wotan to get the stock ROM back?
Phone is rooted
I can't help as I only had locked bootloader for an hour so don't know

Yes you can. Search on Neo Android dev forums for how to install cwm on locked bl.

Everytime you must wait few hours, someone reply everytime... You must be more endurancefull
But, for a reply:
1.) Nothing, on 2.3.3 ROM it doesnt make any sense, because apps on sd are supported natively by OS.
2.) Not neccessary to explain, see 1.)
3.) link2sd is simply linking the app in phone memory to sd card, but app2sd moves the whole app onto sdcard. At the end both has same advantages - frees phone memory. But on some older OS, which didnt support app2sd was able to use link2sd instead.
Hi, i want to root my st15i but it doesn't have root access when i check with Root Checker. So, is there anything can be done to gain root access??

its up to you but i would suggest you try a look if your phone bootloader can be unlock...if it can be unlock then i highly recommend you unlock it and flash custom kernel....custom kernel is very good since all custom kernel are pre-rooted and all have recovery by default (CWM/TWRP or Both).... that means you don't have to root your phone and install recovery again and again...
Good news is my phone can unlock the bootloader but the reason i want to root because i want clear my internal memory, 53 mb left and i want to transfer all my app to sd card and to remove bloatware app.. As far i know unlocking the bootloader will not help solve my problem, am i right?

We're not allowed to ask for the best rom/kernel so try some and find the best one for your usage
Btw remember unlocking your bootloader will void your warranty! You don't have to unlock it in order to root it

ICS will NEVER stop lag. Its ics feature (XD) if u want a unlaggy phone get JB or up with a 3.4xxx kernel. Mike's Legacy Xperia id a good choice , and its very suitable for a daily use. recently he gaved us a final CM10.1 version which i woul advice to you to try. :good::good: damn its so smoooth

Hmm,but unlocking bootloader wont help solve my problem like insufficient internal memory space and removing bloatware, am i right? When i try to check my phone with Root Checker, its say my device doesn't have proper root access. What that suppose to mean? Did i accidently delete a file or something else.. Or upgrading to ICS can help solve this 'root access' problem? Sorry i'm very noob at this..

Just root it (again). Use eroot or any other method in my guide and root it. Afterwards root checker will prompt a proper root access and it should work
