There is only a single lightning bolt-ish wallpaper on mine. Also the only live wp is the google maps one.

Yeah i only have the same wallpaper. I downloaded a few live wallpapers but ended up reverting back to default image.

correct me if i am wrong but i dont think the nexus rom has been leaked and even it has, the live wallpapers are the standard stock android live wallpapers that come with gingerbread
it has a different "nexus" wall paper... the moving dots are more or less the same but the actual background is more of a flat color scheme than the grid... youll see it floating around soon enough, roms are being developed off the released source not the actual phone so that why noone has the real one as of yet...

Get NexusKang by @kmobs in the Android Market, it allows full customization of the original Nexus Neural Network and you can make it look just like the one on the Nexus S.
OR
In the Livewallpaper.apk you can just replace the Pyramid_backroud.png with another 960X800 png in the drawable folder with a pic of your choice.
Is this the live wallpaper you're referring to? I havent seen any settings in NexusKang to indicate you can customize it to achieve a similar appearance, please correct me if I'm wrong.

I wish I knew! I've done a little googling with no luck. If I run across it I'll be sure to share tho.
On a side note, I just saw the wallpaper you were referring to in one of the million NexusS ads on this site. With 'NexusKang' or 'Nexus Revamped' I'm sure you could make it look close enough.

What makes you think that is a LIVE wallpaper?
I have this wallpaper, but it is not live. I have not seen a live one like this...

that's not the paper he was commenting on the one in the link he posted is NOT a live paper... unless the person using screen capture had perfect timing and was able to moving bits to be in the exact same spot everytime
It just appears to be the regular nexus lwp with a different wallpaper. It can be achieved with one of the many modded lwp on the market. Nexukang, if you'd like to support kmobs and team douche ;-). Or nexus revamped is one I bought a year ago for my g1.

Has anyone noticed that you can't set full size wallpapers? regardless of whatever picture you try to apply as a wallpaper, it will always crop. and yes i am talking about the home screen.

I think this has to do with ics than sgs3 in particular. It is the same in my one x and seen similar behavior with galaxy nexus.

or maybe it has something to do with touchwiz/sense? on my sgs2 running CM9 i didn't have problems applying wallpapers. i might be in the minority, but i do like scrolling wallpapers so this is kinda bugging me. Thanks for the reply

I mentioned galaxy nexus running stock ics... You missed that?
Also I forgot to mention they are apps in play store where you can set full wallpaper. Can't remember names but wallpaper wizardi is one of them I think.

I'm looking for the live grass wallpaper that will work with ICS and CM9/AOKP. I've had it before that I extracted from a rom but I can't remember where I got it and I accidentally deleted it. Yes, I have searched until I am blue in the face...And no, I don't want the Beautiful widgets weather wallpaper instead.
Any feedback?

If it's the stock one I'm thinking, you should find it on almost any gingerbread rom/build.
That's what I was thinking but I can't find it for some reason now. I've flashed and re-flashed roms trying to find it and downloaded a number of them, extracted and looked through the zipped files in the rom for the APK. No luck.
I believe its called LiveWallpapersPicker.apk . I think that may be why u weren't finding it. Cause when i started looking out of curiosity there was nothing with grass in the name. But the icon next to that .apk is a picture of grass . So i think that's it. I know Serendipity has it in.

Nope, doesn't work.
There is one that is part of Beautiful widgets. Might be what you are looking for.
Make sure u aren't just trying to install these apks. U have to push them to /system/apps and set permissions.

So I had a pixel xl and loved the live earth wallpaper. I know it was possible to get them on the s7. Does anyone know if it'll be possible to get them on the s8? I'd assume kind of the same process as the s7
They should work since the S8 is on Nougat.

For the TS, make sure you grab the ARM64 version - I accidentally grabbed the other one and the Earth one would not work and kept crashing
So I'm lost downloading this. I tried to download one it installed. But I can't find out how to open it?
Just got it. I had to download nova to find the wallpapers then switched back to touch wiz
What I did. Was downloaded the live earth wallpaper from XDA then downloaded Apex launcher. Used that to get the live wallpaper on. After I uninstalled Apex launcher and the wallpaper was still there after I uninstalled the app

I was going crazy trying to find downloaded live wallpapers from the play Store. Guess samsung is trying to cockblock play store wallpapers.
I used the wallpaper app from Google to set the installed Pixel live wallpaper

It works. But you only see half a planet.

It should zoom in and out. It won't always be on half of the planet. I got mine up now with no problems. Just like when I had my pixel

Download arm 64 and install. Then download a new launcher from the play store. Use that launcher to change the wallpaper and then you can switch back to touchwiz of you would like.
