[Bounty] MIUI port. Bring it! - Motorola Droid X2

I don't know....maybe I'm the only one missing my old device because it had MIUI (which makes almost any device awesome). I can only imagine how much I would enjoy some MIUI on the X2. I'm offering up a little bit of incentive and encouraging like-minded people to do the same.
I know Dragonkillerz is working on CM7, and that must come first. But then I would like for some smart person to run with it and bring MIUI to our phones.
$10 is in the pot from me.
Please also 'vote' for your commitment in the poll so we can track it better. Thanks.

definitely miss MIUI...in fact, i don't understand why even one OEM(lookin at you Motorola) isn't considering it to run on their phones on this side of the pacific...MUCH better than this custom skin garbage (especially once the bugs are ironed out and 4g functionality is added)...and with SO much customizability...

also, read that magiman7 from MIUI.us just started work on MIUI for the atrix...once thats done, hopefully the porting should be an easier process...

For what it's worth, MIUI Launcher 3.1 works pretty well if you're willing to put in a little effort to get it the way you want.

Creating Roms

I want to start creating Roms, because me, i freaking love flashing roms, and i mean, it would be cool making some of my owns, only problem, is i dont know how to even make a rom, -_____- lmao. If anyone would want to help me it'd be awesome. I've read up on it and it seems super confusing.
*Edit totally didnt mean to post this on rom devopment -_____-
sorry.
build off of a stock deodexed rom, or a simpler custom rom. and mess with custom coloring pngs and such inside the framwork-res.apk and the htcframework
that will get you the basic idea....
then you can move onto xml's and change text colors.
good guide: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=831715
^ thats how i learned... and look what ive made! http://androidforums.com/triumph-al...froyocream-sandwich-v2-0-released-3-29-a.html

Sense instead of Touchwiz

Hi,
Im all new to that root and s-off stuff therefore my questions is maybe a bit nooblike.
Is it possible to flash a htc sense to the S3? And if it is, do i get all the necessary stuff here?
I have the chance to get german T-Mobile S3 for 250€.
Problem is that i dont like the whole Samsung stuff that much. But with the Sense UI it would be fine for me.
Thx

Why do people keep asking this question. Right now, software aside, this is the best phone on the market.
The best Sense devices right now do not have removable batteries or expandable memory. So, obviously, this is a default and with 2GB of RAM, no matter if your preference is Sense or not, this phone doesn't give much room to argue against it.
But, you already know that.
To the OP, there are some guys who are working to bring Sense to this. They've got most of the bugs fixed on the Global version, but will soon start on the US version. Stay alert.
I can't help but think there would be a ton of copyright infringement by porting Sense. But i could be wrong.

Because it makes no sense to buy a non-Sense phone and hope/want Sense on it. Regardless of phone specs or whatever (One X is better in some areas btw), if you want the Sense experience then buy a Sense device.

Pure AOSP ICS rom for Xperia Active?

Hi all! I'm looking for a fully AOSP rom that will run on my Xperia Active? Does anyone know of any? I don't want further modifications like AOKP or CM9. I just want the pure Android rom.

This is fixes the Exnyos exploit.
Should be flashable on all variants.

No Problem!
Let me know how it goes. I have not tested it on VZW yet but it should work with any of my ROMS and Beans ROM. Basically any stock based ROM.

The one without boot animation in the name.
OK....here I go......
Edit: OK....got it installed. Seems all is well. Just ran quadrant and got 100 points less than average.....but that could be a number of factors and isn't noticeable anyway.
PS: something new.....for quite awhile now when I would tap into a thread or post to a thread then exit, xda would totally shut down as would others forums with the same format.
It didn't do that when I just posted here. Weird?????

Do I have the updated kernel with the exploit patched?
