i have a serious problem with my x10 mini. I had a back up with 2.3 gingerbread and i tried to install the original version of my phone "2.1" but when the install finished and i reboot it the buttons didnt work. i did the same with a mini pro and everything worked out fine. i wonder if this happened because i used the same restore folder as for the mini? plz help me. thanks

mini and mini pro are strictly not compatible.
so what is made for minipro is not for mini and vice versa

OK the title maybe a little exaggerated and if so sorry but I know most of you hackers are looking into this but x10 has nearly got froyo according to this so just asking if it could happen on x10 will it happen on x10 mini pro anytime soon?
here is the source: h t t p://gadgets.apna fundaz.com/2010/11/xperia - x10 -w ith-custom-f r o y o-android-2-2-1-rom-video-bootloader-cracked-or-just-fake/
I wouldn't hold my breath. The X10 is not like the Mini Pro, different hardware. They might have similar bootloaders though, which might make the process of making custom roms easier for the Mini Pro. Now with 2.1 the phone got better imho, but froyo would be very nice for the flash support.

that's a great heads up...
btw dude your thread's title is misleading...
No worry for cracking mini and mini pro bootloader the x10 bootloader isn't cracked
They are running froyo on top of the eclair kernel so this should be easy possible on mini and pro
Thumbs up for the dev's

why download the x10 version if there is an mini and mini pro port
put you phone in recovery mode and restore with SEUS should work

You did what??
o.k.. don't do that again, the X10 is in no way like the minipro, different hardware and a much larger firmware file (so it wouldn't fit on the phone anyway) does that help?
now.. if you can get into xrecovery then just revert back to your last backup.. if you can't then I suggest use flashtool to install a minipro (U20) firmware (you will lose all your data but at least your phone will be working) or as owain94 said use SEUS (Sony Ericsson Update Service) to repair your phone..
take the battery out to reset then hold down the back <- key and plug it into the USB cable... you can't brick an Xperia phone (the one advantage to SE's un hackable bootloader) so relax, have a play and you will get it fixed in no time.

hello
i would like to know please if anyone knows if i can put froyo 2.2 on my x10 mini pro please could anyone help???????
take a look at mini development forum, they are working on it in there
Hi everyone .
I recently updated to 2.1.1.A.0.6 on my x10 mini pro(india) and also rooted it.
There are many themes on this forum but i cannot install anyone of these on my x10 mini pro.
My X10 mini pro either keeps restarting or stuck at splash screen .
Can any body suggest one theme that is working many x10 mini pros for 2.1.1.A.0.6 firmware ??
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=967666 try this
THIS ONE is working too...
If You've got some problems with installing themes (reboots etc...) try using option "Wipe data/ factory reset" in xRecovery.
Good luck! ^^
hi guys,
first of all, I don't intend to post trash post like this, but I have searched very hard but no luck.
I installed xrecovery and did a full back up afterwards.
Then I installed the miniCM Alpha3, after reboot, the Cyanogen logo and animation did show up. But it just stopped there, like forever.
Help.
UPDATE: Problem solved
seems like it is a pretty simple.
What I did was download the latest falshtool, and follow this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=10879507#post10879507.
problem solved. haha

It seems that you messed with the phone's software. Did you try to install some custom rom before this problem appeared?
The most common reason for this is that you may have installed a rom for the mini or the LWW which isn't optimized for your phone!
If you find a way to fix it please keep us informed because I have the same problem with my mini as well!

First of all im new here and im from greece so simple words would be appreciated
second is the problem
i installed the minicm10 rom to my android x10 mini and the wifi didnt want to turn on so i tried to format it back to its first android version but i forgot the part where you have to format the data, system and cache file and that resulted in my phone turning off.
Now the phone doesn't turn on no matter what i do.
i connect it to my pc with pc companion and it doesn't show that my phone is connected
i pulled of the battery connection through that removable rubber thingie at the back of the phone, connected it again nothing.
tried to reset the phone nothing again
so if anyone knows what to do any help is appreciated
