[Q] Eclipse lockscreen slider/(wallpaper) - Motorola Droid X2

I asked this in the Eclipse thread but I'm not sure if that was the right place to ask this question. Can anyone post the cyan themed lockscreen slider for Eclipse 0.7 so I can use it with widgetlocker? I think it's the same one used for the cyan Ice Cream theme made by TheMuffStuff but I was wondering if there was a way to use the slider only since the rom is already themed. Thanks if you guys can help!
Also, can someone post the wallpaper that comes with the 0.7 when you flash it? I changed it but ended up not liking it so I want to change it back haha. I checked the Eclipse wallpaper galleries and I didn't find it there. Any help would be much appreciated!

Im not sure how widget locker works??? Does it just need the png image files?

I believe so... the png put into a wltheme.zip file. I'm not too familiar with all of this stuff but I believe that's all it is.

i can get you the png's but i have never used widgetlocker and have no idea how there themes or zips are set up.

Ok well that's a start at least haha. Can you post them? I'll try to figure out the rest Thanks a bunch!

Heres the pngs...

Hmm... damn I failed haha I couldn't get it to work. I suck at this stuff If anyone out there could mash up a custom slider with these png's it would be much appreciated!

[THEME] Black Status Bar Theme For Droid2

Hi,
Here is my first theme. This is mostly to pimp out the status/notification bar on the droid 2. The zip file contains instructions. Mostly just a bunch of stuff ive/found stolen from other themes and some elements of my own. Let me know how you like it. The services.jar replacement can be dangerous so you should know what youre doing. The theme itself should be ok. You will need Metamorph and root of course.

Ok thank for not taking the time to just write it. Your read me just says if you want it white them replace the services.jar LOL ok so i am not a programmer and can only guess tough guy that the text wont be white? I just wanted to know if it will affect anything else. SOOOOOO many times i see people "make" their own theme and swear up and down that something wont affect another and it does, so again thanks for the vague instructions and really helping out with nothing. I tell you want your theme isnt worth it i will just move on to a better one thank you!
Is this the services.jar I posted for you?

http://www.androidzoom.com/android_applications/tools/seepu_eyqj.html
costs a few bucks but well worth it. don't mind the haters in the comments, this app has worked on every android phone I've had and with every ROM.
new version.. 0.7
some new icons/updates
looks awesome!! thank you!!!!
im going to be moving support for this theme over to the VZW 2.4.5 (and eventually newer) roms. version 0.7 will be the last one for the default droid 2 rom. ill leave it around for those who want it. version 0.8 for vzw 2.4.5 coming soon.
what do you think would happen if we did this but replacd your icons with the stock ones?

why not just make a black status bar then?
really id just need the white text but im really not confident in my ability to do it and the majority om these talk about deodexing and i just dont understand enough about the OS to do much outside of a simple step by step.
what would you like in white? just the clock or what?

The letters and clock mostly. the images are all in a dark grey that would be tough to see so it would be nice to have all the icons(3G, vibrate, silent, battery, signal bars, text message and email) done in a white/light grey as well. I understand that is a bit tougher to do. I could make the images if I could rip the current ones off my phone and just use photoshop to change the colors then repackage and install. but I dont know how to rip, repackage or install. so I just wanted to use his method with icons I would make, assuming this is possible.

if you give me the images i can prolly make an installer for you, but you should maybe enhance your knowledge on this stuff first before you try to do it as these things can be dangerous.

It is possible however you would have to have a theme to work with first. You would then decompile the APK using a tool such as APK manager or you can open the apk directly using something like Winrar or similar. You can then navigate to the folder of "drawable-hdpi" which inside the "res" folder. This is where all the pngs are held.
well i was gonna release v0.8 for the green 2.5 vzn rom by angdroid, but i like the looks of that fission rom that they are working on.. maybe ill do 0.8 as planned and do 0.9 for fission once they are done with it.
fission seems nice and clean

If you want to change each and every icon in your rom, then, extract your rom, then search the rom for apps and now decompile or extrace them one by one and edit the icons in them
theres no easy way doing that except to get ur hands dirty by decompiling apks and edit them one by one.

[req] Can we have this ICS theme ported?

That looks absolutely stunning.
Is there anyway to port it or anyone willing to take the challenge? I can't do it because.. well.. idk how.

FYI, this Black Exodus 0.5 port is only for CM9. Running this theme on Onecosmic or ICS Passion could have side-effect or other undesired behavior, such as boot-looping, or random FCs.
Make a Nandroid before attempting to run this theme.

Yea backup is a must. Theme itself should be okay though. He used vrtheme format. I think it is kinda like morph as it only replaces images he changed in framework and sytemUI as opposed to whole apk. Anyways make a backup and flash.

I had to flash my phone again today so I figured I would give this CM9 them a shot on Passion 10.6
Flashed through CWR with no issues, rebooted without issue
Looking through at first glance I can see things like the clock are still blue and the pull down quick toggle images are not lined up since the drop down in Passion is not the same as CM9

already reflashed so no pics. I flashed over a stock 10.5
Well, Nexus .pngs are bigger, if that CM9 port to the i9000 has resized all images, it's fairly easy to port them to ICS Passion, the only thing left would be to edit some xmls.
Not sure what .apks would work, but most of them should.

Rsfaze already flashed them so I would assume the PNG files are resized already.
According to rsfaze we just need someone to reorganize the status bar since passion has a toggle etc added to it

Easy enough.
Just delete SystemUI.apk (That's where the status bar things are.)
My SystemUI was working just fine.
If you're willing to try it, upload the SystemUI from this theme and link me to it.

I might play around with this some more, when I have some time. How is the Nexus S treating you? I'm still going back and forth on buying one or getting the Galaxy Nexus.

It's awesome, man. I love it.
I'd go with the Nexus S, I don't see what the big hype of the GNexus is.
Thanks, now I need the ICS Passion SystemUI.
EDIT: Mind sending me the whole SystemUI from the white theme, too? I need to decompile it myself.
I put what i thought u wanted.
i got the systemui.apk straight from the .zip of ICS Passion
but for the theme, it was already a folder and to upload i had to zip it up, and it seems as if the theme has less files than normal...
I also put the entire theme as attachment.
attached:
-ICS Passion System UI
-Black Exodus System Ui ( i don't think its correct though it doesn't look the same as the Passion .apk)
-The entire theme black exodus
edit: the entire black exodus theme didn't seem to want to be a attachment after i waited 10 mins for it to upload on xda...
so i got it up on multiupload.
Here is the exodus theme

The clock u should have gottened try redownloading it . If not r u using a different skin that might be the problem try using stock skin .What is themed is quoted above in the top post , to have a full theme that would require theming all system apps as well as all data apps for that matter I would basically have to theme a full ROM which that I'm sorry to say I have no time for. Thank u for using my theme and maybe in the future I might consider a full theme Rom.
thanks for the understanding...i really liked the bottom bars you had on the screenshots. keep up the good work...
If anybody is wondering why I put yellow&all in the title is because I've tried to put all my themes in here which I did not succeed maybe next time
hey man...
i tried redownloading, and still cannot get the clock. i love the red theme and clock. i get somethings but cannot get the clock. i set to stock skin and still nothing. sorry to be a pain...but i was trying to get it to work. thanks a lot

You should use a pc when organizing all your themes into one thread, you can always edit this one and get it together when you get the chance to. Look around at threads like the lock screen one, look how he organized his, you could use a similar format for yours.

When choosing the skin choose the yellow steelers skin that I modified when choosing the skin it should change the clock to like the one in the screenshot. If that doesn't work no offense your doing something wrong then let me kno.
