Hi, I just got a new Atrix and it came with 2.3.4 on it. I want to unlock the device and root it , but I read somewhere that I may brick it if I flash a unlock sbf and then try to unlock while on 2.3.4? Is this true? or can someone give me a guide to how I can unlock and root my device even though im on 2.3.4?

Hello, please tell me witch method is the best to root and unlock bootloader for Atrix 4g (MB860) from clove Rom 2.2.2 Froyo System version 4.4.35.MB860.Retail.en.GB?
Because I found lots of methods for UK Orange and T-mobile but they have a different build
Thanks
I am also very interested in this. All the famous root scripts do not work with this build.
@slob13 I figured out how to root and unlock the Atrix with our System version:
-how to root: tutorial
-how to unlock: The method described here works. Please flash IHOP_Bell pudding.
I have the same device, what is Pudding (surely not the one we eat...) ?
Does anyone has a safe method to root Atrix on Bell 2.3.6 rom that was never unlocked before?
The bootloader is locked and I still haven't saw anyone indicating that he used any of the unlock/root manuals successfully.
Please help!
I want to buy an atrix from ebay But I'm afraid that I will not be able to unlock it's bootloader because I read a post here in the forum that new/replacement atrix devices are not unlockable because of somthing that motorola did.
since I didn't find any guide for unlocking an unbranded atrix My question is how do I do it? Do I even need to unlock it's bootloader?
if this is just for using your own carrier then no need to unlock it as it is already unbranded, if you want to use custom roms then for now you are out of luck, you might be able to root it tho.
If you get it, try using the steps here. If that doesn't work, well yeah. You would have one that can't be unlocked.
I would like to unlock the bootloader,
apparently it is not possible with 2.3.5
It is also not possible to go back to 2.34 and unlock the bootloader. If you acceped the OTA 2.35 update you are stuck. Sorry.
