Hi there!
I am looking for a game, i played "long time ago".
I dont even remember on witch mobile OS i played it,
it could be windows mobile 6, iOS or android (i THINK it was on android...)
I dont rember the name, just some gameplay facts... i hope someone here knows that game-title...
The game was about a small guy, wearing a head, who lost his wife in a "level" befor the action starts.
You controll that guy in with a "touch-scree-controller" through a bunch of levels...
the clue was, that you could "clone" the guy as often as you wanted, to hold down buttons or build stairs (with the clones) to reach higher layers.
The story of the game was very.. lets say "cute".
Plz help me, i dont finde that game anymore and want to play it again (
Thanks!
no one can help me :-( ?
Cordy or YooNinja?
Was it a 2d jump n run ?
Sent from my GT-I9000 using Tapatalk
yea, sorry, it was 2d jump'n'run...
But none of the games you posted :-((

Cute??
"The Company of Myself," and it's a puzzle genre game about a hermit(named Jack)and his life story. Instead of him just telling you the story, you play 20 levels of the game and he slowly, piece by piece (even though he's talking to himself) reveals his story to the player. The story is about how he fell on love with a girl named Kathryn and how he murderer her one day due to his mental illness. However, he can't remember because he has amnesia. ..
Just as an FYI, you can play this "natively" on android with the Kongregate app.

I am trying to expand my software collection for my phone and figured what better way to see what else works out there than to let fellow members share their favorite games or apps of any kind.
Please include either a download link, forum thread link, or company site link in your response. Also if you see someone else already posted the one you wanted to post, share your number 2 favorite. Thanks!
I will start off by saying my favorite so far is Atomic Cannon by isotop244e. It's a remake of the old "tanks" arcade game from long ago, and it's a lot of fun.

Thats cuz its made with the sony sensor sdk not the htc one
Resco Defender, SkyForce Reloaded, and The Quest by Redshift. Arvale II is pretty decent also. As for apps I really like MSS Converter for converting just about anything(Weight, volume, distance, temperatures etc) Http://micromeg.free.fr (Don't worry, they have it in english)
For some reason it hasn't really caught on more, and it's a tad old, but I could not use WM without wktask
Really helps immensely with multi tasking. makes the top more a lot more like normal windows taskbar.

COD!!!
I love CALL OF DUTY for the PPC. the framerate is not the greatest but it is an awesome game to play, turn off the sound for more frame rates and if needed (not recommended though) overclock just ever-so slightly and you have yourself a gaming machine...
Just my 2 cents...
UNO!
I second the UNO call. The other way to be able to finish a round is to turn the mast say UNO option off. That's all I did when I couldn't sort out how to say UNO.

Looks like Obulis, from over 4 years ago, now with icartoon candy & pet instead of a ball & pot...
Not that I mean to critisize what you are doing, just the whole iPhone 'look what we created!' attitude when they simply copied something else.
After using touch screen devices for 4 years when the original iPhone was released and being asked for the nth time 'is that an iPhone? they have thouch screens!' has jaded me somewhat
Thanks for the game though

You got to remember iphone has excellent marketing. Honestly windows mobile should have been over iphone but several factors come into play
1) They had Steve Jobs , a superb speaker . We had bill gates best programmer on earth , but average speaker.
2) Their marketing and advertising is off the charts , while all we had was stupid commercials or no commercials.
3) They have more people communicating with thier customers. Xda was found by developers who where looking for support when microsoft didnt listen.
So even though windows mobile is the best phone , when you lack marketing, support, and too many different handset , you lose. I still make free games in my spare time for windows mobile to show my support.
Hi! that was a fun game to play. I hope there are more levels. I liked the difficulty and i think there is true potential in making it even more creative. Keep on the good work!
Still play Tiny Wings Bounce by the way and trying to beat my score. I cracked the 300,000 point mark. I have a WVGA device now, an HTC HD2. Maybe if you were gonna add new levels, maybe have more than one piece of candy you have to feed to the monster? Also scenery as the wallpaper? Just a thought or two, but it was a lot of fun to play.
Thanks again!
Ok glad you liked it!! Actually I got some request to do more levels on this game and some people still want me to make an endless version of canabalt. Iam glad you liked it also there is supermeatbuy saws of death for windows mobile.
There could be one bug, but it could maybe be my device. Whenever i hit either the left or right arrows in the level, the white dot appears where i hit the soft button.
i know the white dots are supposed to be where I swipe my finger to cut the rope, but the dot appears after touching any of the soft buttons. i can try to post a screenshot or two once i get a chance to show what i mean.

Yes I seen it too. How its programmed is where your finger taps on the screen , there will be the white dot that goes with your slashing or cutting the rope. Its suppose to disappear in half second but the 1st dot created always stays until you slash again. I dont know why 1st doesnt destroy itself automatically so I made such to design the levels in a way that it doesnt effect the outcome of the game.
Iam glad you guys enjoyed it , and I hope more developers continue to make fun freeware and support windows mobile development.
thanks for your reply. Whe i complete level 2 and i hit the next arrow, the dot appears and the food from the string gets cut without me doing anything. that is the only example how the non-disappearing 1st dot affects the level design.

Yes I played that and saw it. The only way to get around that is just tap anywhere else on the screen to make the dot disappear. Its programmed to destroy itself but for some reason it doesnt respond.

Dont yer just hate it when someone who obviously is an expert, posts the search google thing.
the time it took to post the google link would have been more helpful answering the question, even if its been answered before, These forums are so full of long timers with attidute.
Whats the point of a forum if people are too frightened to ask a questions
Yea but people should still be capable of at least doing some research before asking questions. Google is an excellent start.

Please read the forum rules before trying to tell "long timers", who are far more sick of lazy people than you, how they should respond.
I am not an "expert" in anything, but I do know that if I want to find something out then I go to Google and try and find it myself. This forum is not a children's feeding ground.
Incidentally, where was your helpful response, or did you just come here to troll? At least I DID give him something to go on.
I'd like to know as well, tried searching on Android marketplace, looks like none of the decent games run on our so called super device.
Google comes back with similar posts as this one, with equally similar replies, the GameHub premium on the SGS2 comes back with a small handful of pretty basic games like Worms and Tetris being the only worthy ones.
I think the problem is people arrive from the world of friendly Itunes that gives you the ability to simply search, read reviews and download and play to this hodge podge of an Android world.
So my answer is NO the, EA games you mention don't run on the SGS2, unless someone can post another google link that proves otherwise
And I am not a troll, whatever that ridiculous evaluation means, I guess its forum speech.

This is from a quick google search...
http://www.eamobile.com/
Just select your region at the top of the screen to see what's available.
It may be that a lot of them will not be shown as compatible with the S2, despite actually being so. That's obviously an issue that we're all familiar with on the Market as well.
Obviously, if you can't get them from the EA site then you're probably looking for warez downloads which you're not gonna get help on here for.

How do you know you're not one if you don't know what it means?
Just joking mate - I don't want some silly flame war. I just stand up for myself, if I believe I was right - that's all.
I'm not a troll as I live in a house not under a bridge, never eaten a goat before, well I like goats cheese maybe that makes me a troll, although enjoyed the new film Troll Hunter.
OK went to the link, selected region UK, only lists Iphone/Ipod, Ipad and the Mobile games are all just basica old tech stuff nothing HD.
Why do they make it so difficult
While people do post a simple Google search links , they do not indeed search it themselves to see if Google does have answers to what is being asked ....
And as far as an appropriate answer to my query is concerned , you can easily make out that even the official ea games site does not have resources to filter the games compatible with our device .
Nor does Google help in this matter , giving only results with threads like this that end up in a noshow .
So won't it be better to have some worthy result that would help not only myself but a million other users of GS2 .?

Can any developer make a Banana Kong port for andriod. I played it on iphone and got hooked, its absolutly the best runner next to punch quest. The problem is Iam way to busy to even attempt to make a port, but Iam pretty sure whoever does can make at least good AD money. I can help with art work as I have found some of the images myself.
I made a retro version game of banana kong , its like an atari game but with banana kong graphics. Basically you are standing in the middle of the screen and jumping over barrels by tapping the screen, if you get hit by barrel your score goes down by 50 points. Its just a fan app, it has nothing to do with the actual game.
Iam wondering if we cant get someone to port the game to android, does anyone know if the developer of the game come to this forum?
Moderator moved it to this section because he said I have more chance at getting help. I have the graphics, is there someone who can make the game?

I agree that we are Masochists. Haha.
However, take that review with a grain of salt. It is a review on an Apple Fan Site.
holy balls, and comments won't show until approved by the author. At least it crashed his macbook.
This reviewer must be high. This is my 5th Android device and it is the best one so far. I am an AOKP or AOSP guy, but LG has little features that I find extremely useful.
LG is good with copying, like how they copied the Picture in Picture camera before Samsung released it, or how they copied the floating apps which Samsung dont even use.
Anyways, you cant win a review by everyone, there will always be biased people out there ^^
Btw, does the buttons on the side go white even if you have it set to black in full screen? Or is he just that hateful?
EDIT: Nope, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gHqzTxPnPD0 check around 1:10 when he plays Dead Trigger, stays black.
The guy is a hack. I'm not even convinced he used the device for more than five minutes.
He claims that it has "even more useless features than Touchwiz", which isn't even close to being true. And he's apparently too stupid to figure out how to use KnockOn, because I have no issues with it.
His entire rant (I refuse to call it a review) is centered around LG's interface. To be honest, I just don't think he's smart enough to use it because I have no problems with it and actually appreciate some of the features it adds.
One that I really appreciate is the ability to send a video as an MMS (without recording it as one). Record video => Share to messaging => Prompt asks you if you want to trim it because it's too large => Say "okay", then, rather than trim it, just click "done". I twill compress the video to 3gp quality and send. Yes, it's pixelated, but at least you can send it. Most android phones simply tell you that it's too big and refuse to let you send.
LG is the ONLY manufacturer besides Apple who lets you do this currently. It's a small thing, but it makes me happy and I wouldn't give it up.
Its almost hilarious the bias of the comments that are getting approved as well. Clearly he has a bone to pick.
Thanks guys like I said there's too much to like on this phone and some features like the volume and display on the notification bar suck but otherwise this phone is a beast and its the perfect size.
The gizmodo clown was probably in the middle of doing one of those ridiculous alcohol articles that they do every week!
I come from Nexus devices, and that dude is a straight retard. The phone is unusable with this interface? Stick to iPhones , it seems that's all your simple mind can handle.

I could see his point of view in the review.
I looked at the phone and yes, the first thing I do on any phone is install Swiftkey.
I also spend hours and hours getting everything right on the phone and strip away all the stuff that is setup for morons.
I never use the factory email programs and always use Touchdown for work and K9 for home email.
I use WeatherBug Elite for weather widgets and a bunch of other stuff.
I think the phone could be usable, but you will need to spend some time.
If you are looking for a clean out of the box experience, I'd have to agree with Gizmodo, look somewhere else.
On the other hand, if you want a screaming piece of hardware, look no further.
Interesting that my default alarm has no singing whatsoever. Its just music. I changed it to something louder.

It literally takes 5 minutes to set the phone up and get rid of the features you don't want. I have none of the notification bar issues because I stripped them down. Install the Google keyboard and whatever widgets you want. If you are suggesting that the phone isn't usable out of the box, I'm going to question your choice in user names.

No time for praise. They're too busy conducting a demonic ritual to resurrect him from the grave.
And yeah .. that reviewer is an idiot. My kindergartener could write a more intelligent an unbiased review.
I surely wouldn't recommend not buying this phone to anyone. But.. Nothing he said is that far off. This device is not far from being a masterpiece, but the software does suck. Some of the things he said such as the navigation bar can be changed in the settings, so I'm not completely sure what he's talking about. I also thought the keyboard was junk and their version of Swype was even worse. He didn't even get into the throttling portion, or how the issues with the camera and some shots it floods out in lighter conditions.
I mean you may love the device, I did. But there are many nuances in the software, like the folders opening into little squares that the app titles take up 2 lines. I'm surprised he didn't mention that...
It's a good thing Loki works and we can put vanilla android on it soon, because it really will be an epic device at that point.

I don't have an issue. I modify every device I get. My first operation out of the box is unlock or root. Then I start the process. I was talking about those that do not want to setup a home screen, etc. Remember most people that had VCRs had them flashing 12:00 from the time they got them until the thing died.
