MAny thanks!

Pull the battery and put back in.
Press Vol Down + Power to boot into bootloader.
Select and Execute fastboot mode.
use the fastboot command to load up a recovery twrp.img or clockwork mod
Wipe All
Reflash....

Correct, your rom is 2.3.4 and the kernel is 2.3.3. Pull the battery. Gonna have to reflash the rom unless you have a nand?

Yeap, already press it. Thanks again.

Bcblend kernal is top notch in my book and its 2.3.4... Just not stable at 1.83ghz so stay underthat if your planning to overclock. And always make a nandroid back up, that way if you ever get stuck in bootloop just restore nandroid and your good to go, careful on how many nandroids your rocking on your SD card tho they take up some space, so I use my pc to store older nandroids but I always keep a stable one on hand.

How do I remove Synergy ROM from my evo 3d?

I want to get rid of the synergy rom on my phone... I just want to go back to Stock root.... Can anyone help?!
Hboot vers. - 1.5
Please help, thanks!
Go into recovery and do a format of boot, cache, data and system. Once formatted you can restore a nandroid or flash a new ROM. Also since you formatted you need to do one of those if you want a phone that actually boots cause It's empty.

Don't understand what you're asking. Do you want to go back to stock rooted?
You can download and install another rom...just make sure you wipe data. Or if you used something like rom manager and made a backup, just go back into their and install the backup.

Do a little reading here. This should do the trick.
I'm trying to think but nothing happens.
ugh
I'm new to this rooting stuff, I've been able to get synergy on my fone for the last month or so, but i want to change, and now every time I try to go into recovery it just reboots to Synergy. I've tried everything I can think of.. any help would be appreciated..

when in the OS of your phone, go into settings/battery/fast boot and click that off. Then you should be able to reboot recovery either by: 1. powering off/batt pull, then hold vol down and press power. 2. long press power button while phone is on, press restart, select recovery. However, in your case with hboot 1.5 you need to do more
Since you're hboot 1.5 you need to flash your new ROM only AFTER you are hooked into a computer and fastboot into your recovery, and of course after you wipe everything. There's a thread by jtniggle in dev that outlines in post 2 how to flash with hboot 1.5.
Hope this helps.

Ics 4.0 pasion hot to go back to cm7

Hello guys im currently running on 4.0 ics passion v7.. i wanted to go back to cyanogenmod stable but the problem is im getting error when flashing the rom on cwm .. i decided to odin back , the problem is in odin under ID COMP it says comp 3 instead of comp 5 , i guess i have wrong driver , my question is can i still continue to odin it even tho its in comp3 n not comp 5?
You mean COM 3, COM 5? It doesn't matter, as long as it's yellow and it reads your phone.
But, you don't have to flash back to stock to go back to CM7 from ICS Passion.
Do this;
1. Download a CM7 Kernel. (EB-Steamline)
2. Flash it via CWM.
3. Reboot your phone.
4. It'll get stuck at the EB-Production screen.
5. Pull battery, and use the three button combo to go to recovery.
6. Flash CM7 ROM.
7. Enjoy.
Thanx bro will try it now !
Alright, let me know how it goes. c:

I dont even need to reboot or pull battery. I just reboot recovery from within recovery and it reboots into the new recovery for me. Or at least it has been anyway.
Im on ics v8 and im very cautious about switching roms because long time ago in my n00b days i hardbricked a phone and completely destroyed the crap outa it
Q. On ics v8 and love it but getting tired of fc's and incoming call glitches. I came to ics from cm7 from bionix. I believe the cwm version for ics and cwm is the same.
Can i simply just reboot into recovery and then wipe/reset and install cm7?
Thanks

I tried this last night, and because of the Clockwork mismatch I got a bootloop. So just flash a CM7 kernel first like EB Streamline, and then flash CM7. Or flash CM7 twice... Makes sense? EDIT: And yes, wipe and what not... I use the kernel cleaning script as well.
Okay thanks.
Im gonna just stick to ics v8 for now...going back to gingerbread is killing me inside....
Once you go ics you can never go back...

Why not try Onecosmic's RC1? Its much faster than Passion AND comes without FC's or bloatware, lol... And you can flash directly from the recovery you have now I think...

When I first noticed Clockwork Recovery got "Reboot Recovery" function I was very pleased to say the least. I only wish it was located in a better place, like directly below "Reboot System Now". I also wish Power Down would stop disappearing from my recovery. lol

Phone stuck in splash screen (HELP)

Hboot 1.5
JoelZ ics asop rom
i was trying to change fonts using a font installer app
https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&rct...-MznBQ&usg=AFQjCNGA5Oax1qBBGwpnMYpvc_ZNbeTgXw
and since the third time i rebooted to install a new font my phone has been stuck o splash screen .
Anyway to fix?
Try wiping caches.
I would try a wipe maybe the font won't take or something got screwed up kernel wise which would cause it to hang...
now it wont turn on at all . Further inspecton into this app and i have came to the conclusion it was this app some user have had their phone bricked from this app .
I have sprint insurance will they cover this?for A REPLACEMENT?
As these guys said try wiping caches and then if that doesn't work going to have to try just reflashing the ROM without the font change.

Just flash another recovery with adb..
Phone isn't messed up lol. Use the same recovery you were using just put a copy of it where adb is.
Then plug phone in
start adb
and tell it to
fastboot flash recovery recovery.img should work....
From the sounds of things I don't know how.... It seems like whatever you did wiped out your recovery.... So all you need to do is flash a new one... Also you could try to relock your phone...
Then run a Ruu 2.17 exe that would fix you up lol.....
If your CDMA and on hboot 1.5... If you can't get another recovery to flash over... Just relock your phone and download the RUU exe and run it from hboot will fix you up...
I did the exact same thing with that app and rom, just went into recovery from bootloader and wiped cache and delvic cache and reflashed the rom, you might have to fastboot into recovery from the bootloader though because of hboot 1.5
If you can't even boot it into Bootloader, run the ROM Upgrade Utility (RUU).

I would keep a orignal copy of the working rom....
Then if something goes wrong try to go to recovery and wipe everything and see if ADB will find your phone it should..... Then just flash the working rom via fastboot boot recovery.img
As long as ADB finds your phone and recovery works you have it made... It's when adb can't find your device and your recovery isn't working that you may need to relock your phone ....
Then run that RUU make sure to relock it tho before you run it......

My bad. You are absolutely right. Refresh my memory. *shrugs* Lol.
My data is.working tonight! Anyway....
If u rooted and installed a recovery before, it seems like you should be able to do it again unless u left out some info.
I have some step by step examples (scenarios) for loading a recovery & flashing roms on unlocked hboot 1.5 that may help you. See my signature.

Lol, I guess I'm stepping on some coat tails. I'll eventually run out of my 2 cents.
Just seems like a lot of the basic how to root with hboot 1.5 / recovery / Rom flashing posts need updated with current links & some more details to help prevent all the same questions being repeated. Some of those stickied posts havent been updated in 3 or months & some of the original posters have moved on to other phones already.
I can almost just repost one of the 2 same hboot 1.5 posts over & over...
- HTC unlock Stuck at step 13 = redownload & flash current / latest Ruu
- can't flash rom/recovery = see Issues thread in signature for detailed "scenarios".

please help cant install any rom

I am s-off and using the latest 4ext recovery. I upgraded from revolutionary CMW to 4ext so i could try CM9. It was alright but nothing special. Afterwards i tried to update to the latest vitrous sense 4.0 rom and i couldn't get past with the boot animation. Every single ROM i tried has been like this. Im wiping the data before I flash and using supewipe.zip. I never faced issue with CMW is it the recovery or am i doing something wrong?

have you tried extracting the boot.img file from your ROM and then manually flashing it? try MeanROM 2.3 as well its a new one that is ICS based and loads fairly fast ... atleast i had no issues with it...also on your first time boot make sure the phone is NOT plugged up to the data cable
i dont know if you know this but if you download the PG86IMG from Goo im you can put that on the root of your sd card which is the first thing you see when you click sd card you can run that from bootloader and reset the phone

4ext works great, under wipe, select wipe dalvich + cache, then the format all partitions(besides sd card) option near the bottom.

just to make it simple download the file ad rename it to recovery.img and move it to the same place the fastboot.exe is located... take your phone and boot into your hboot by holding volume down and then the power button.. scroll down to the fastboot option and press the power button... youll see the screen change and then plug your phone up to your computer you should see on your phone screen now the phrase "fastboot usb"... from there open up a ms-dos window and direct yourself to the directory with the fastboot.exe and recovery.img files.. then type in
fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
it should send and then write , when completed power your phone and then reboot into recovery and it should be then revclockmod version...and probs feel free to PM me
Happen before
This is something that happened me to me before, my problem was I erased a bunch of important stuff and tried to install a kernel using recovery. I'm on hboot 1.50 so yeah **** turn messy. But I unrooted, then re-rooted and used GUI to flash my kernel of any choice but ext to flash my rom. Revolutionary recovery doesn't work too good on my phone, so it also varies depending on recovery:fingers-crossed:, just word of advice do a factory reset+wipe dalvich cache(do it at least 2 times) and it has worked for me whenever I flash a new rom. Whenever you reboot give it some time and don't rush or press anything. Once your rom kicks in let it sit for at least a couple mins and then proceed with whatever you need to do. Hope this helps!
