Hey I noticed a few weeks ago, and I'm still noticing that the Defy's screen has a reddish tint instead of a white/blue one.
So apart from Cyanogen settings to change renderFX, is there a way to change the Defy's display temperature colour to like a bit more blue?? Because the red tint make the Defy look cheap lol...
Is there any app possible to achieve this??
Try with RenderFX Widget. You can change its tint. Just change in one tint and then disable it...it should be normal.

Hi, mine sgs2 has upper part of the display "burned" by the status bar.
I put in brackets burned because I think that it's more accurate call it just a non uniform degradation. In fact I see this fault when I'm in landscape with white background. The effect is a shadow of the status bar with a colder white, and the rest display with a warmer white color temp.
You think that running for a few hours at full brightness a full screen image like this can balance the deterioration between "status bar" leds and "rest of display" leds? maybe a flashing RGB animation!
If I have not explained well please ask me fot clarification
Hi, when i turn off my auto brightness and set it to low and the background is white , i can see 2 strange horizontal lines in it.
Should i send to custumer support ? or maybe its normal ?
When brightness is on medium or high it disappears.
Could be because of custon kernel or Rom ?
I take a picture tho show.

I have read that AMOLED screens have several flaws that are imperceptible, an example are screens with yellow
Hello,
I was using my TFP today and all of a sudden the screen has gone mad. All blacks are white all color is gone. It sort of looks like all the colors have been inverted and then the contrast went to 0 with the brightness at 100x. (where the screen looks like this on any brightness) Anyone seen this before and know how to fix it?
It's not in inverted color mode to help color blinded people since most text is not even visible.
Please look at the picture http://img51.imageshack.us/img51/3360/img4165kv.jpg.
It shows my desktop wallpaper on SGS1 on the left and SGS2 on the right. The top left part of the wallpaper looks fine on SGS1 but it turns ugly dark green on SGS2. Please notice that the other colors (pink, light green etc) look very similar on both devices. I set the brightness on both devices on equal level. My SGS2's screen displays like this only dark colours, bright colours are fine. Similar thing happens in AOSP/CM9/10 settings panel to dark grey gradients - it turns kinda dark green and ugly.
Here's another example: http://img23.imageshack.us/img23/4066/img4166a.jpg. AnTuTu background on the SGS1 (left) doesn't look so dark.
Am I the only one experiencing the issue? Do your devices display equally bad dark colours as mine? Could you post photos of your CM9/10 settings panel or AnTuTu's main screen?
Hi all,
I have had my Atrix 2 for nearly a week now, and I am getting used to the Yellow tinted screen, but today I tried an app called "Screen Adjuster" which allows you to adjust the brightness/contrast and RGB values. I adjusted blue to about 10+ and couldn't help but notice how good and even colors look! The white actually looks white. I would love to keep the colors that way permanently.
So the question is, Is is possible to alter some file in Root or do some file replacement and smack that yellow out and off the screen? :fingers-crossed:
