I know about the Full Screen Caller app but I want to replace the black T-Mobile screen with the stock dialler screen found on Froyo 2.2 and other roms, the one with the grey background and android robot.
My phone is rooted.
I have no idea what the T-Mobile caller screen looks like, but assuming you want the stock Android Caller/Calling screen, the one with a black background with the top of the screen colored in a vivid green (I'm not able to post any outside links yet, so google for "stock android caller screen", a pic of a Nexus One receiving a call from a Barry Johnson guy should be what you want), you could try to modify framework-res.apk, but I'm not sure if there are any files regarding the Dialer app there, although it is what defines most of the GUI, BlurDialer.apk, that's the full Dialer app, and it must include the app's GUI. Before I flashed the Alien Theme (for the Alien ROM) I restored the stock Dialer app from the Gingerbread Atrix ROM (the official one), it was pretty easy, I simply replaced the BlurDialer.apk in the .zip file I was to flash via CWM with the stock one I extracted from the Alien ROM itself without the theme, which is pretty much a faster stock Gingerbread ROM without any graphical mods done to it (except for the Camera app from the Droid 3).
Anyway, I'm not sure if you can flash stuff via CWM with a locked bootloader, and I couldn't be since the first I did with my Atrix, after rooting it, was unlocking its bootloader. It would be helpful if you posted some screenshots of waht you have, what you want though...
PS.: What do you mean by T-Mobile Caller Screen, the US Atrix is only sold through AT&T...

I didn´t feel it was right to put my question on the "general questions about themes"-thread... I actually only want to get directions for a specific theme.
This is my config: Stock 2.3.3 Version 3.0.1.G.0.75 without any Bravia or xLoud... Rooted and xRecovery 3 installed.
I Would like a theme that does not have any SE Blue tinted background in the menus, dialpad, messaging and other places. I would like it to be black or perhaps dark grey (as I have seen some themes have). However... the only one I have found was made for 3.0.1.C.0.75 and as I understand also for Bravia or xLoud (I think it´s called) I tried it but I ran into a bootloop.
So... can anyone point me in the right direction to a theme that is close to what I´m after? And if possible as close to Stock as possible but with all the blueish backgrounds replaced with a more discret dark color (or perhaps black).
I really wish the X10 had the same possibilities as the Arc 2.3.4... with a themechanger. One theme there has all backgrounds black.
I have glanced at several other ROM´s but I don´t wanna loose the SE camera and so on... also the stability.
Best regards...
Mange, Sweden
Search for themes in the themes and apps forums! There is actually a black theme somewhere over there for stock 2.3.3... Also, you can flash the theme manager along with the other apps from 2.4.4.. There is a thread with the apps somewhere in the themes and apps forums aswell
Sent from beneath my cloak of magic
Made it myself...
I just replaced the background images by opening the framework-res.apk and SemcGeneralUxpRes.apk with 7zip and replaced them... pushed them on to the phone and "viola"
// Manneman
i completely disabled htc sense via cleantool.
now i have stock android lock screen (slider ) witch i like, but when i get incoming call while screen is locked there is no slide to answer screen witch i had on my previous android phone. Phone is ringing but screen is locked and i cant see who is calling. i have to unlock first to see an then hit answer.
did anyone mention this?
it's very annoying!!
HELP PLEASE !!!!
This is a side effect of using the AOSP lock screen and launcher with a ROM based on sense. Its normal but annoying. When we get pure AOSP this issue will not be there.
so how to get pure AOSP rezound ROM??
i figured that "slide to answer / decline screen" is a part of Phone.apk
i pulled it from the phone and decompiled but didn't know what to change
to many files in there
or maybe can i just replace phone.apk from different non based htc sense rom like LG optiums S gingerbread ??
You will start running into issues if you replace too much. The senseless rims are about as far as you can go until we get pure AOSP.

Even on senseless we have that problem. Slide to unlock, put in password, then see who is calling.

Just a few qns on ICS.
1) On ICS, I notice when on WCDMA mode, the H icon does not go down to 3G icon when there is no data flow, unlike GB where it is mostly at 3G and only when there is data processing then it moves up to H. Is this normal or is it just my phone?
2) Getting my phone back from servicing and really dislike the ICS experience. Stupid scrolling, changing font doesn't change the font in all applications (like in tweetdeck and whatsapp) etc makes me want to roll back to GB the moment i get my phone back. However one thing I will miss is the ICS lockscreen (the circle one similar to the Note). Back when I was using XWLA4 on Checkrom it had a similar circle lockscreen. Is it the stock lockscreen or is that a mod from Checkrom? The slide lockscreen is pretty terrible IMO.
Gonna keep my phone stock as I'm too busy and lazy to meddle with all the rooting stuff anymore. So I just want a good slick fully stock GB rom and I'm not gonna touch any more flashing till I change my phone. Coming from Singapore using an international i9100, it makes no difference if I use some other firmware version (XWLA4 eg) as opposed to the Singapore-tailored DXKI1 etc ROMs right?
Thanks!

1.Try RIL match from Play Store
2. I don't know.
I have been playing around with themes quite a bit over the past few days. Before deciding on a theme I enjoyed, I installed another theme and flashed it's add-on zip to make the package complete.
It turns out I didn't enjoy what it did, and has made some of my phone apps (messaging, email, etc) unreadable due to poor colour choices.
Now, I know that any smart person would have created a backup of their ROM before flashing anything... however it seems I am not the brightest light bulb out there. My closest backup is 3 days ago, and I would be losing quite a bit of custom work that I've done on my phone for the past two days.
Does anyone know of a stock app package that I could flash to reverse the effects of the theme? Or any way I would be able to remove the themed apps without returning my phone to it's 3 day old state?
Thanks in advance.
P.S. If this helps any, I'm on an HTC Incredible S running Codename Android ViVo 3.5.0 (JB 4.1), stock kernel.
I've just flashed the ICS based, STOCK themed Energy ROM on my HTC Amaze and it works really well. However, it only seems to have the single stock wallpaper for all screens that are kinda' boring. Is there any way to get at least the same few wallpaper selections that was in the original ICS OEM ROM?
Sure, you can always extract from one of the stock ROMs, or just use the forum search feature for both stock and original sense 3.6 themes or wallpaper.

OK, but I have no idea which directory are those wallpapers expected to be. I was in a similar situation with ringtones as the Energy ROM Setup apparently lost the old ringtone directory. Fortunately I was able to force the Sound setup to take one of my own custom ringtone files as a replacement.
