I mean the volume up and down, and changing tracks and stuff. All I can do is pickup phones calls or pause and play music.

I thought this headphne would work on this phone, I guess not.
I should have paid more attention to the control of the ibeats that the HTC rezound offers, it has forward and backward buttons. Instead, the Dr. Dre beats has the volumn buttons.
I haven't tried the mic yet, but I doubt it will work.
The beats studio work with the Rezound.
Won't the headphones work, just not the controls?
Yes, the headphone works but not the control.
Sorry if there is any misunderstanding, the control doesn't work.

Yes because they are the same brand headphones, but like I said I didn't pay attention to the actual buttons which are different on both.

Hey nice find!!!The double click works to skip song not the volume buttons though. Also when I double click it, it calls the last caller on my recent list, is there a way to disable that?

.
Most Dr Dre beats products have whats called "ControlTalk" this is a feature that is meant to function on iPhones only. However, they also have some products that are labeled with "Universal ControlTalk" these products will work on android devices. The headset that comes with the rezound is Universal ControlTalk enabled. Keep that in mind when considering a beats by dre product for your android handset.
Try "Headset Button Control" in the market.

Is it me or is the loudspeaker on the Note weak? I mean this is my third samsung phone, in all 3 phones the loudspeaker had to be turned all the way up to hear it enough. I had to sky rockets and 2 notes. When I'm using the speaker phone to talk to people it's very loud even at 50 percent. it's when I am listening to music or watch media I have to turn it all the way up to sound comfortable. I mean don't get me wrong, when it's a 50 percent you can still hear it but as far as the ringer is, It has to be turned all the way up to hear it completely. Even to listen to music at 50 percent,is really low especially when you're at work. This is my second Note, and they both sound exactly the same. Is this normal?

So after reading some posts I see that there is supposed to be a red B in the task bar when playing music to signify beats audio is working... Well I have never seen this no matter what song I play or what music player I use. Any suggestions on why it's not working???

Only when the Audio Jack is in play. (I.e. earbuds, car, Bluetooth headphones)

It only shows when you have an audio output device connected, like headphones or Bluetooth devices.

I have a different device but I figure it may apply to beats in general. Mine just plain doesn't work. It's installed, I tried a redownload and reflash and it doesn't work at all. There's no icon, and when I change settings the sound doesn't do so.
I noticed when I'm playing music through the audio jack to my car's auxiliary, bluetooth headset is disabled for calls. I have to pull the audio jack, then the button for bluetooth is enabled again.
My G2 would allow calls to go through the bluetooth headset and then once the call was done, music would continue on auxiliary.
Is there any way to get this back? Anyone else think this is an issue?
Yep have the same problem, thanks for asking the question hope we get an answer.

I thought this was a bug as well. However when using the aux, I am having an issue with the audio being muted when I disconnect the headphones and no way to bring the audio back up unless I restart the device.
When watching YouTube or anything else that has to do with the loud speaker. While watching a video turn the volume all the way down. I hear buzzing noises and pops. Anyone else?
Edit: I noticed this when i did the volume boost mod and promptly removed the mod. but it is still present just not as loud.

When I play videos , right after I pause it, I can hear tiny buzzing noise for 3 secs, then it stops. Whatever sound setting I use, cant get rid of that tiny buzz. May i know your setting, can you get rid of the buzz completely?
Edit : I never try playing videos with volume all the way down, I just did, and the buzz is there as long as the video is being played, but when I pause it, I still can hear it for another 3 secs, then it stops.
