Hey Guys,
so i have a stock samsung fascinate that I just bought yesterday. I tried downloading spotify and for some reason it just does not launch. I tap the app, a black screen opens, then it shuts off. I perused google and the forums, but I did not see an answer. Other reviewers seem to be having the same problem. Anyone know whats up? Thanks

On my Galaxy Tab 10.1 P7510, my Youtube app all of a sudden stopped showing my subscription videos on the home page. I tried factory resetting, flashing a new rom, wiping the data for Youtube, nothing. Instead whenever I launch the Youtube app the home page shows me Recommendations from 2007. It also force closes on every other video I try watching This issue just started today, and its very annoying. Any help?
Edit: So I checked the comments on the market for Youtube and it appears that many other people are experiencing the same issues I am ugh I guess I just have to wait until Google fixes this then. Mods delete this thread please >.<
Is there a fix for this as yet? I started getting it within the last few hours as well. I'm practically pulling my hair out

Hey, I have tried searching the forums but did not exactly come across the answer I was looking for. So, I am on my Samsung Galaxy SII and I just rooted my phone recently. I was having the problem of wifi sharing sucking up my battery, so I rooted my phone but at the same time I decided to try freezing up a few apps that I did not need to free up more ram and get more battery life. So, I followed the "safe to remove app" thread and I removed apps that were said to be safe from the spreadsheet, but could someone please tell me what is needed to run Youtube and the IM applications? For Youtube, everything works fine, until I get to the video part. I click on the video, and it never loads, the circle keeps spinning. I would think I disabled something important for loading the videos there as I can still load Youtube videos when I go to the website. Also, with IM I almost have the same problem. When I click on the application, the entire screen is black, with just the loading circle in the middle, but nothing ever happens. These two things seem to be the only problems I encountered so far. I only froze apps that were said to be for sure safe to remove. Nothing under caution or no. I hope someone could help me with this problem! Thank you guys so much for all your help! I do not know much about my phone as I just rooted it.
Not sure about IM app, i suggest try imo messenger.
For Youtube, did you remove video app?
(Videos; com.sec.android.app.videoplayer; VideoPlayer.apk)
Although im not 100% sure, I would bet that it's the cause of the video playback problem.
I think better to re-run all the frozen apps so that you will know that those frozen apps caused the issue. If not, then you have a corrupted system.
Alright, thanks for your help guys! I guess in the back of my head, I already knew I had to go back and test out each and every quarantined app again. I was just hoping someone knew exactly what was needed for those applications. Thanks though!

Whenever I go running I like to take my S3 with me as I use mapmyrun app and listen to music. Unfortunately, after about 5 minutes the music stops and when I look at the phone it says there are no apps open. If I restart mapmyrun it appears and runs as if it never stopped (in other words, it has been continuing to map my run even though android says it's not open).
I have tried DoubleTwist and the standard samsung music player and have tried turning off syncing and notifications all to no avail.
Anybody else have this problem? Or any suggestions? Because its really annoying me!!!!

No idea m8, i drive everywhere lol jk.
Could be that the battery is getting jolted and causing it to break contact? Just a thought, either that or something on the inside isn't quite secure and it's bobbling about when your having a jog ?
Not sure tho m8, weird one that.
Having a quick read round, it would seem mapmyrun doesn't get on too well with the Galaxy S3... I will try a different running app tomorrow!

that s3 tell you, just jog. don't play me. lol
It is a very Smart Phone if it doesn't like physical exercise because my body reacts in the same way.
Try jogging without the app running? does it still reboot?
If not then you know it's the app.

I recently downloaded newest Netflix and installed, logged in fine but when i play anything it loads and shows the controls and the right subtitles but no video just plain black screen not to be confused for black screen of death. I tired the hacked version the normal and hd no luck same results. Can you guys help me or is this a hardware problem?

I am using this app since a while on my rooted phone with magisk and always liked it, but since one or two weeks the app won't show me search suggestions anymore. Usually, when I started typing in what I wanted to see I immediately got suggestions, for example, when I wanted to see "Michael Jackson Thriller" then I started typing and like after Mic I got it as a suggestion, but now that is gone. I have to write the whole title, which is pretty annoying. I only see suggestions of things I searched before. What might be the problem?
