One option but not work all time
remove bettery and connect phone to pc and open odin
then press home+volume down+power buttons and hold and tell someone to put bettry in phone
if odin detect your phone then flash firmware
otherwise have to go at servise centre
why you afraid to go there even i bricked when im newbie and repaired by service centre
Thanks nims11, I will try it & if that don't work I will have to go to service center. I m not afraid of it but it is too far from my place
No way just by installing Superuser can your phone be bricked. Take the battery out for 10 secs and Press power and home for 5 secs it will enter recovery. Format data and cache

Jekle_Ace , let me explain u full scenario. Yesterday I installed latest firmware 2.3.4 (Asia version as I am from india) through odin & everything worked very well. After that I followed the steps to Root it using the script given on this thread
forum. xda-developers. com/showthread.php?t=1034145
That also worked very well. Next I wanted to restore all my apps, so I installed Titanium backup from market but now it asked me to download busy box, I clicked on & it asked me to first update the Superuser app which I installed through the script, so I updated it & after update completed, my phone went off after that it is not booting anymore

Well,i have a SGA rooted so i decided to install a custom rom with Rom Manager Premium.I have putted the Rom on the sd card root and i started to install it.
When i started to install, the app asked me for flash the Clockwork Mod,so i pressed " accept " and asked me again to confirm the terminal and i pressed Huawei Pulse, because SGA was not in the list,i looked for the rom file (extension .zip) and " started " to install but the phone turned off now is practically " death "
i have tried to start the Recovery mode and Download mode and it don't respond, and i also tried to connect it on the computer.
There is any tutorial of what i have to do to repair it?Help

Put the phone in download mode and use odin to flash the stock firmware from samfirmware for ace (KPH/KPN for europe)
That should do it.

Some stupid people like you (sorry for this, but this is true) bricked their Aces with Rom Manager. There is only one way to solve this - replace main board of Ace. Your road goes to service center. Tell them, that your Ace just can't power on once you have forgotten to charge it, our something like this. This should work. Good luck.
Omg you bricked your phone. Rom manager do not support ace yet.

Why didn't search about it?
Go to the store and use your warranty
Try to remove your battery and let your phone rest (haha) for a day or so and then try to put it in the download mode. This worked for me.

the reason is to warn others of such dangers, it needs to be said countless times otherwise new users just miss things. personally i believe there shall be stickies about rom manager, unlocking and efs etc. actions making phones bricks as it is in other phones' sections of xda. that would save ppl phones and community could grow. but it's up to forum moderators...

I dont think we have a dedicated moderator here anymore? We should nominate a great ace dev to be our mod for this forum
OnT: I think the OP gets the message already on the first post, but people who would brick their phone this way would be too careless to read the information here anyway.
[Q] Can boot into a "black screen" recovery and get ADB feedback but that is it.
Strange issue I have here, well it is to me at least, my fathers SGH-I777 the AT&t model boots fine and works when booted but the play store gives me the "no connection" on both wifi and hspa+ and there are a few apps that do not work and cannot be updated for android 4.3 because of the play store. All that is just a day on android and would be fixable if recovery worked. It had or possibly still has clockworkmod recovery installed on it, no idea of the version unfortunately. The first thing that came to my mind was to just update it, well, it cannot be that easy as the latest version of ROM manager does not work, it crashes on startup. So I decided to try ADB and I will get this back if it is in its black screen version of recovery mode
Code:
C:\1>adb devices
List of devices attached
0123456789ABCDEF recovery
C:\1>
and this if it is booted into android
Code:
C:\1>adb devices
List of devices attached
0123456789ABCDEF device
C:\1>
Kind of a side note but also the main issue, when I try to "reboot to recovery" or hold both volume rockers and the power button till to logo appears all I get is a black screen and if it is dark enough in the room you can see that the backlight is on. So I am assuming a corrupted file somewhere, I just need to get somewhere and so far after 3 hours of searching for a solution today I have not. I don't know where to splice this in so i'll do it here; I am pretty sure this is a result of my father having Cyanogenmod updater update from 10.1 to 10.2 without completely re flashing boot and installing from a "factory reset" device then recovering the data.
List of some other things I have tried:
installing the latest apk of the play store
installing the latest apk of ROM manager
not much else that I can think of at this time, but ask and I will either try it or tell you if I have and try again anyways. Not too urgent but thank you for being here xda .

Just a couple of points, which may be helpful if you are not very familiar with the SGH-I777. Recovery is built into the kernel, not in a separate partition of it's own, so you can't just install a recovery, you must install a kernel containing a recovery.
Rom manager is said to be OK when you have CM on the phone, but in your case it would probably be best to avoid it until the problem is resolved.
The solution 4-2ndtwin posted sounds correct to me. If it were my phone, I'd try that first before flashing back to stock.

I think the easiest way is to use LG mobile support tool. refer to this member post http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2456558&highlight=encrypt
- Boot you phone to S/W update mode
- Run LG mobile support tool (B2CAppSetup.exe)
- Select recover you phone from menu and wait for about an hour
- *Dont forget to comment lg server that you add in host file for offline flash
There're also other way to fix it, if you can boot into Stock recovery by Holding vol- + ... (I can't remember ), but this combo may hard reset your phone if you don't have stock recovery. In stock recovery mode you can use adb to push and replace busybox. I don't try this myself but some member unbrick their phone by this method.

Hey guys i will try to make this as detailed as possible. I have a Sprint Note 3. It was rooted using kingo and i had twrp installed with 4.3 firmware. Finally i wanted to update to kitkat. I tried updating from the system menu but it wouldn't allow because it was obviously still rooted. I then unrooted the phone using kingo. Once it was unrooted i had the phone download the most recent firmware over the air which took a while and was about 503MB. Once the download finished the phone restarted and went to twrp. At this point i thought it would of just automatically updated and do its thing but it did not. Next i went into my phones menu and did a factory reset and it finished. I checked my storage space and seen it was still 20~ out of 25GB used. I then restarted into recovery mode with twrp and went to the wipe option. This is where i am pretty sure i screwed up. I chose format data then after I chose advanced wipe and selected system , data, cache, Dalvik cache. Now my phone doesn't boot up obviously because i foolishly removed the OS. When i plug the phone into my laptop Kies picks up the device but it shows as unsupported. What can i do to fix this issue?? I will provide anymore information that is necessary. Thank you.
Can you boot into download mode? (From powered off state.... press volume down+home+power, then press volume up to confirm)
Will your pc recognize it in download mode?
If so, odin stock rom from developer section. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2712205
And you should be at stock, unrooted, 4.4.4.
Then, you can start from scratch with a basically clean slate.
Good luck!:good:

Yes I can boot into download mode. My pc does recognize the device to a certain extent. When plugged in it will search for drivers and some of install them. However if i went to Computer it does not show any storage device for the phone. Not sure if this information is helpful. I will try Odin again with that file once i get a chance. I will post my results and possible pictures of any errors. Thank you for taking the time to assist me. :good:
