Same as the topic , When i turn on the wifi , it automatically turn off in about few seconds , and i found the my Wifi MAC address is unavaliable , that i used normally in hours ago , now i can' use my wifi. Is there a solution that can directly fix this problem instead of factory reset?
scearhed around the internet for a week , still can't find the solution , but saw some similar case is in NEXUS ONE , so he solved the problem by change setting of the router , so can anyone tell me , what setting should be changed? please!?

Just bought myself an Galaxy SII I9100 today but i cant get it working on wifi ??
Connected it to kies and updated the phone but still didnt help anything.

does the phone show any access points available in settings>wireless and network>wi-fi settings?
i can find all the ap in the building here but i cant get an ip adress..
It just says obtaining ip adress and then just says that untill i stop it..
can say that way for hours if i dont stop it.
found the issue.. was my ap that was disconnected suddenly of some strange way..

Im sure your wifi is good in you mobile.
1. HAve you ever connected your mobile to a wifi router or this is the 1st time.
2. Some routers have problem in accepting wifi connections, you have to manually add your mobile wifi mac address in the whitelist to your router.
3. You can also set your ip address to static one from the advanced config in wifi page.

hi guys good day! .it is running on jellybean 4.1.1 and equiped with rk3066 chipset.the problem is when im far from our wifi router like 5 meters away my wifi signal drops to 1 bar i have already updated our router to the latest firmware but unfortunately the problem still exist. i think my tablet's wifi driver is the problem. .is there anyone could help me to fix this problem? thank you im willing to upload my wifi driver for you to modify it i know that there are lots of devs here in xda that could help me.

AFAIK not all drivers can be modified because they are not all open source , i guess your tablet is chinease and very cheap , maybe it is just a hardware issue , do you have the same problem when you try to connect to another router (in a public place , your friend's....)? , since when did you start having this problem i mean did you already manage to connect to that same router with your tablet while being farther than 5 meters? and are your other devices connecting without problems to your router ?

AFAIK the only way to be sure if it is a software (android?) or a hardware issue is to reset your device after backing up everything (nandroid backup if rooted or something else), if the problem is still present after reseting your device i am 90% sure it is a hardware issue , in this last case you can go to your manufacturer support center or send them your device to repare it , if your device is still under wanrenty it might be free of charge , if it is a software issue , resseting your device should solve the issue but you will lose your data (if you backed up your apps on your sd or on the cloud it will be easy to get them back) , to reset your device if you are rooted (after backing up everything) go to your custom recovery (twrp , clockworkmod...) and then go to factory reset (or something like that :silly: ) and select the only "yes" option that you will see in the screen , if you are not rooted (stock rom) you normally will find an option for resetting on system settings/personal/backup and reset (i am on cm9 it might be different for you but just look for reset option in settings you might be asked for your gmail account to be sure you are the owner of the device) , normally resetting is a natural process but i am not responsible for any damage that might happen to your device (be careful with cwm and BACK UP everything)

I'm running miui.eu ROM ... latest weekly .... been running for a few months now ...
recently, my Wifi refuses to turn on ... the mac address shows 02:00:00......
as a temp workaround, I need to activate airplane mode, turn on wifi , reboot , connect to the wifi AP and then turn off Airplane mode ....
I searched a lot but all threads are for different devices and none for the Poco F1 ...
Could someone please guide me in the right direction ?
I instaled miui eu 9.4.18 and then dirty flashed the newest one mini eu and wifi now is ok

On OP3, I also had no wifi all of a sudden. If I turn on wifi, it will automatically switch back to off in a couple of seconds. A dirty flash of the ROM solved it. Try it though it is a different device.
