Not sure if this should go here or in another forum but I just thought I would share how to take a screenshot with the sgs2. To take a screenshot simply press home and then press power. Very useful and better than downloading an unnecessary app. Again if this doesn't belong here mods please move.

Great tip for anyone new to this phone...how did you stumble accoross this gem and is there a way to re-direct the files to go to the external_sd card instead of sdcard/ScreenCapture?

I stumbled upon it by trying different combos lol. I have a Droid charge and to take a SC with that it is back+home so I was messing with my wifes sgs2 and figured it out. I don't know if you can redirect it to external sd

Here is my current Harley theme for The Pepperkake v2 rom. It causes a boot loop on the touchwiz icon update, just pull the battery and boot again, then go back to MetaMorph and apply the framework-res icon update that it skipped when it went into the boot loop, and all is done.

I'm sure I could, but I really just made this for my wife's phone and mine. It wiped all my free time out for weeks while I gathered ideas and random images from all over the web. This was just me sharing what I created for the few who may enjoy it. I had fun creating it, but I think I'm finished until 2.2 comes out and messes with my setup.

Root not required - I just installed on Stock. Gives you the functionality of auto-updating just like in Froyo.
When installing you will be notified that this is a system app, and asked if you still want to install. Let it!

The auto update check box is there when you click on an app its at the top right of the app. Of course I'm scared to try it because that takes all the fun out of clicking the box that says "Update All"

So I just came across this nifty little app that apparently has on demand episodes of a very very large volume of shows. Little ad box at the bottom of the screen, but acceptable for just TV shows here and there.
WiFi recommended. Maybe if we had real 4G it wouldn't be necessary...

Yeah, some videos aren't perfectly synced or perfectly smooth (particularly jersey shore), but I wouldn't be watching my favorite shows on this anyways. Maybe just willy nilly at the gym...

that apk doesn't allow you to watch videos in the app
It appears I was able to pick this up in the small window that it was on the market...I'm currently trying to find a way to edit the default resolution of the app, as right now it is not taking advantage of the Atrix's increased resolution and it's not filling the bottom of the screen, anyone had any luck with this yet?

Actually DG's Adeo "ROM" took care of this for me , it also de-odexes your system and adds a few power options...check it out!

I'm more than happy to deodex my system, but theres no way to REodex just yet. It can potentially lead to update problems. I see no real benefit to deodexing. I don't really care for the reboot (although would be very nice), and ad's are usually outta the way.
The ad in this app doesn't interfere with watching the show, but it would if it was full screen...
Well after flashing the stock sbf and re rooting and using the market fix I can't find this app anymore... Wish I had saved it with titanium backup.. I know they just came out with the hd version that utilized way more of the screen if anyone has this app could you post it here? Maybe att is blocking this app? Might have to wait till I get to a wifi, switch air plane mode on, and see if it shows up. I can find the developer but not the tv shows free or tv shows free hd app... Any way to keep att from restricting what apps show on the market?

That’s right, guys. Just download from your phone’s browser and install like a normal app. It’s currently working great on my Evo 3D although I’m not sure if this will work on phone’s equipped with Android 2.1 and lower (per Google) but I don’t think that will stop you from trying, right? Let us know if it works for you! Enjoy!
Oh — and if the new Market ISN’T your cup of tea or starts to act a little wonky, you can always go back to the old Market following these simple steps:
Go into your phone’s Settings
Select “Manage Applications”
Select the “All” tab at the top
Scroll down to Market app and select it
Select “Uninstall Updates”
Now have your old Market back!

Read the thread - it's working but File Sharing is NOT.
Check the app "sharing keyboard and mouse" and pocket control for Samsung. They do basically the same thing except the first app you have to copy to clipboard. First app is exactly like synergy for android.
