I was at the ATT store tonight playing around the with the Samsung captivate. I absolutely LOVE the dialer/contact app on the Samsung androids. I took a spin through the captivate forum here and did not find it, so I was wondering if anyone has managed to extract that program and use it on the TB or any HTC phone.

7510 is the wifi model. Run to the developmemt thread and flash galaxy task14
Get Visidon from the market for face unlock
Get Camera ICS+ to get panorama photo capability
Get Veetle for your movie viewing enjoyment
And that concludes my 2 cents

Ditto on the Task 14.
Pershoots latest kernel, setcpu, V6 super charger, everything else you should come across on your own using the threads to get what I suggested.
Best of luck in your endeavor.
Other than that I have nothing to suggest

Good thread. I am looking to buy a tablet and the Samsung 7510 is on sale today. Thought about getting the Acer, but does not look like much development is going on over there. PLUS, with Samsung, I get the amoled screen
Been flashing my Vibrant, then Galaxy S2, and finding some great ROMS along the way. I only hope there are some great ROMS for the 7510.

Wouldn't the 10.1 Note be a good suggestion then? IDK just saying.

Ok so task ROM is on.. Do like the speed, smoothness and stability.. One thing that bugs me i'm overclocked to 1400mhz using setcpu and I can't get a 720p mkv file to play without skipping.. I've tried mx player and mobo player and the video frame rate slows and stutters so bad. Any suggestions?

Like I said in your previous thread buddy You need the tegra2 plugin to make proper use of the core's since by default it feel's rushed?
hey guys, just wanted to say hi I had a samsung galaxy s2.....and broke my contract to get the note through at&t....I'm by no means a rookie here...I've rooted the device soon as I got it.....I thought this note would be smoother and less laggy........how many developers do we have here for the note?....well anyways......glad to be here...and hope to help to the community ....

It is indeed laggy out of the box but should only be with the launcher. I rooted mine with dag's over clock kernel and now running adw ex with about 3-4 Widgets and some app shortcuts. Only using 2 pages of launcher space. This thing is flying...

The new update to go launcher smooths out a lot of the lag I used to notice.

cool.thanka for the input...yeh I use adw ex as well...juat have to load up the tar to get into recovery tonight and find the kernal...thanks guys....

I as well, left Tmo and the Galaxy SII to come over to AT&T I honestly like this note far better than the SGSII and I get far better reception and data speeds then I did on Tmo's "supposedly" 42mbps HSPA+ network lol
no lag here, only have rooted and ran the supercharge script

Yep, mine was pretty bad out of the box too, now I'm running dag's overclock kernel at 1.83, TPC Note V2 rom, and ADW EX and its great.
Hey ppl. I just bought my Sprint Galaxy S III. I've searched but found no answer. I was wondering why the US version (or at-least the Sprint version) of the Galaxy S III does not have the adjustable screen color profile option and the international Galaxy S III does? I've read that it is on the international version but why not ours. This option was also on the Galaxy S II. I loved this feature because I liked my screen as vibrant as possible, yeah I know the colors aren't realistic but I don't care. Any body have an idea about this? I know I'm not the only one who noticed.
The US versions don't have this option.
I wish I could make my screen as vibrant as possible too.

That sucks ass....why would they remove this option? I can't think of 1 possible reason why it would hurt to leave it..
They removed it I believe because we have a different cpu/gpu so it won't work

The title says it all.
Do you know any app who can change my voice while I am in conversation? I believe there are certain apps which can change it while not in a call, but thats not what I am looking for.
I believe Galaxy S3 has enough CPU power to do this. Years ago there were these cheap chinese phones which had this feature build.
Thank you in advance for your answers
I don't think Android supports it.
