HTC and Google.music ?

I love Google music and probably never will use anything else but I also love the HTC music player UI and widgets. Do u think Google music will ever get integrated into other music apps?
Sent from my PG86100 using XDA Premium App
I think google will integrate music better into a new update of android, maybe ice cream. I'm hoping for a nice homescreen widget and a lockscreen one as well, and maybe compatibility with headphone buttons to change/pause/rewind songs, like on the iphone
Once root is achieved is it safe to remove HTC music?

Yes. It will be safe. Did it previously by just removing the apk for it

Lock screen help

I can't seem to get rid of the ring type lock screen. I want to use the pattern or password lock and I can use it but I have to use the ring unlock and then whatever other one. So basically power button, ring unlock, and then password unlock. I have looked in the settings and I can remove the ring shortcuts but not that lock screen. Any help is appreciated.

I think that's not gonna happen my friend

There is no way to remove the ring unlock?!
I'm pretty sure there's no way to remove it. You have to do both if you want to use an unlock pattern.
can we change the lockscreen style altogether? or not yet due to no soff

I think you can install a 3 Ed party one from the market that will hide the ring one. What is wrong with the stock one?

Get WidgetLocker from the market for a couple bucks. It has the old sense lock, or you can choose the ics lock on there too. There are hundreds of themes to choose from, not to mention you can add widgets to it.

(Help) Unlocking phone to answer calls

I was just wondering if anybody coild help me fix this. Im having to unlock my phone before answering my phone. I deleted the htc lockscreen which i know thats the problem. But i wanna be able to get around putting it back on... Thanks
Sent from my HTC_Amaze_4G using xda premium
Which lockscreen did you delete? The One that's icon shows up in your app drawer or the actual lockscreen?
Sent from my HTC_Amaze_4G using Tapatalk 2 Beta-2
Anytime you delete the Htc Lockscreen and use the Default one it screws up incoming calls. It has to do with the way that Htc programmed the Dialer.
My suggestion is to use something like Go locker.
the actual lockscreen

So should i just forget about it?
Sent from my HTC_Amaze_4G using xda premium
Like Craig said, use Go locker and call it a day

i'll have sense 3.5 or I would extract the apk and post it...anyone can just extract the apk and post it if you're willing to use the regular lockscreen. otherwise like other's said use a third party lockscreen, I love widgetlocker!!! its the best

Razr launcher and widgets.

I'm not taking credit for this, but I found this over on the Atrix 2 forums. It's a lot like the Atrix HD launcher with the exception of the quick settings Page left of the homepage and a favorites app tab. Unfortunately, just like the Atrix HD launcher, the circle clock widget force closes. However, the favorite contact widget works along with the Motocamera app(preview doesn't work but still captures pictures perfectly.) Simply unzip the file and push apps to system and change permissions. Reboot and enjoy. If this is old news, feel free to let me know. https://m.box.com/view_shared/r2p1xjem3wlc9wnl9ja9

As far as I'm concerned it won't work on Gingerbread.

Would this work on aokp JB?
Sent from my SGH-I747 using xda app-developers app
I personally haven't tried it on any JB roms, but considering the Atrix HD launcher ran on JB, I can't see why this wouldn't.

Is it possible to get the widget on other launchers?
Unfortunately no. The widgets will only work with a Motorola supported launcher. Such as the Atrix HD launcher and this one.

it does not work widget cirle 3D ?!!!!!
This widget is available through 'One More Clock' by Xaffron in the market if your unable to make it work with your launcher. I added it to homescreen for a snapshot. Play link: https://play.google.com/store/apps/d...ykwong.freeomc

Rings Digital Weather Clock is basically the 3D clock widget, works perfectly. It's the widget displayed on my home screen picture in the second post.

I have installed the Circles Widget on top of the new ICS leak that came out today, I had to remove the stock weather app through Titanium to install the new Weather APK but now it tells me that the city locator service is not availible. Besides that it works great on ICS.
EDIT: After a quick re-boot the weather and location services are working!
I have a fully functioning Atrix 4g on ICS with the Circles Widget and Launcher!

before I go installing
from the circle widgets rar file you only installed these, right?
circlewidgets3d.apk
homescreen.apk
weather.apk
freeze/uninstall weather first, then install new weather.apk, then install circlewidgets, then install new homescreen, then freeze original homescreen? right?
Yes that is what I did except I did not freeze homescreen. I just selected the new version as the default launcher.

Are you using a launcher besides touchwiz? If so then that's why. You have to use TW.

Probably some built in BS specifically to that widget so you have to use TW. Its stupid.

CalWidget is a good alternative for other-than-TW launchers; check it out on Play Store.
