I bought a few gameloft titles that are not showing up in the market (asphalt 6, nova2, etc). Is it because gameloft hasn't updated the market to support this phone? Anyone else have missing apps you purchased not showing up?
same here. all my gameloft games crash on me now...lame
Yeah I tried loading them from TB and they either can't download update or it says phone not supported

Hi! I have a NOOK Tablet 16GB v1.4.1 rooted. I want to play gameloft on it but force close. How to play gameloft on the NOOK Tablet? And games with data can't play on it? Need to install chainfire 3D? Which games compatible with it? Please give me advice! Sorry my bad English!
do not install chainfire 3d, it does not work right and may force you to have to recover your device.
Hi! I have a question for you. Which games to compatible with nook tablet 16GB? Please give me advice!
most games are compatible that appear for sale in the market. if they dont work, just ask for a refund in the market. i think you have around 10 minutes to ask for a refund after a purchase.
I don't buy apps on the android market. I install apps from outside source. I installed gameloft & games with data on my nook but all of them forced close. Which folder to put data of games? Please give me advice! Thanks first!
It doest matter which folders you put your data in, game loft games won't work.
EA games usually don't work either.
I would suggest looking at your app in market first to make sure that you are compatible, then download from outside source.
Change your build.prop to make your nook tablet appear as a nexus s. I did this and now I can run six guns just fine. Do a search on how to edit build prop for nexus s or Droid 3

I had installed backstab games ( gameloft ) on my nook tablet 16gb. When i log into the game, It require download data by wifi. While I put data of backstab games folder in sdcard/gameloft/games.With Kindle Fire, only put data gameloft to sdcard/gameloft/games ==> game will play. Please give me advice! Sorry my bad English!
Hi, so I recently got my s2 yesterday and it is running 4.0.3 ICS unrooted. I got this problem with Gamevil games. So this is what happened: Most gamevil games are freemium so I dl'ed them directly from Android Market. But the problem is whenever I open these games, this shows up (imageshack.us/a/img100/701/screenshot2012092022450.png). These games are not online games (Plants Wars, Illusia 2, Zenonia 4) but I can play them just fine with internet. And I'm pretty sure that these games are not online games as I've already played them on an iOS device (former iOS user). What seems to be the problem? I need help and I'm new to Android world.

I think it just needs to check with their servers if there are any updates. Should only need it on the first launch. And welcome to Android
Hello.
i recently downloaded and used the "Infamous 2" rom and A1 kernel on my p7510. i am mostly satisfied with them, but i came across a problem. on all other roms i used on my device, all Tegra 2 optimized HD games appeared on google play. but on this particular rom, a game i purchased and played on other roms, called "Horn", that requires a minimum of a Tegra 2 processor and honeycomb 3.2 OS has disappeared from the market, presumably with some other tegra optimized games. some of them still appear on the play store. i suspect my device is not recognized as tegra anymore by play store and apps. i would like to know how can i make the games reappear on the play store and work as they should.
Thanks.
Some older gameloft games like Gangstar WCH, Gangstar MV, Avatar, Assassin's creed, Asphalt 5,6 are not avaliable at the play store. I have found and downloaded them from a website for free android games. The look like working but don't fit the screen correctly and crash after a few minutes. Do you know how I can play them, why they don't work? I thought of changing the dpi or the screen resolution, do you know if it will work?
Hi Forum,
I found my ancient Sony Ericsson Xperia Play and decided to fire it up. I'd totally forgotten that during the prime of this device I was a little obsessed with acquiring all sorts of obscure ports and games from several niche markets (mostly in Japan) and wouldn't you know it - I still had them on the device and had backups from Titanium Backup still stored on the SD. Sadly, most, if not all of these games do not run on modern Android and I'm hoping maybe some astute folks out there can decompile these things, work some magic, and repack them?
Many of these games include support for the Xperia Play controls which predates the modern usage of gamepads under Android. Alas, if this aspect could be tweaked to run on generic controls, that would up the radness!
Anyway, here's the list of booty I had on the device. I paid for each and every one of these back in the day. Some of them so rare, you might not believe it to be real! All of these have been long since abandoned by the publishers and don't exist on any storefronts anymore.
Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell Conviction HD - Acquired from Gameloft directly as the Play Store didn't sell the version with Xperia Play controls.
Shantae: Risky's Revenge - Acquired from the GGee Market, an obscure Japanese android Market. Game has EXE files?!
Devil May Cry 4 - Acquired from the GGee Market, an obscure Japanese android Market. Game has EXE files?!
Ghost n' Goblins: Gold Knights - Acquired from the Play Store, Android Market at the time, from Japan.
Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light - Acquired from the Play Store. I think a more modern updated one exists on the Play Store anyway.
N.O.V.A 2 HD - Acquired from Gameloft directly as the Play Store didn't sell the version with Xperia Play controls.
Silent Hill: The Escape - Touchscreen game. Pretty sure I got this from Android Market (Play Store) from the Korea storefront.
SimCity Deluxe HD - Purchased this from EA direct. Touchscreen only.
Spider-Man: Total Mayhem HD - Acquired from Gameloft directly as the Play Store didn't sell the version with Xperia Play controls.
Starfront Collision - Some shameless StarCraft rip-off I purchased from GameLoft. Touchscreen only.
Worms - Purchased direct from EA as Play Store version didn't have Xperia Play controls.
Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six: Shadow Vanguard HD - Acquired from Gameloft directly as the Play Store didn't sell the version with Xperia Play controls.
Star Battalion HD - Some game I got from GameLoft. Can't recall much about it.
Biohazard 4 / Resident Evil 4 - Acquired from the Android Market (Play Store) Japanese region.
Monster Hunter - Acquired from the Android Market (Play Store) Japanese region.
FIFA 10 and Madden 10 - Acquired direct from EA as their store had the Xperia Play control version.
And finally... probably the coolest one of the lot due to rarity alone (IMHO).
Ridge Racer Accelerated - This is the same game as the PSP / iOS port. I remember acquiring this was like pulling teeth at the time as only Namco's shortlived Banadroid Market in Japan had it. It was never sold on any regional front of the Play Store. The only port that existed on the Japanese Play Store was for a specific device the SH-009 or something... some stereoscopic 3D phone that had a Nintendo DS effect and that port was exclusive to the hardware. This port, however, was Android device generic. I even recall on the Xperia Play forum here on XDA years ago some members didn't think this existed and would attempt to "correct" me that the ONLY version was this SH-009 exclusive and it won't run. How wrong they always were...
The game did have two oddities. First, it would only run on Gingerbread. When I used CyanogenMod back then to jump to ICS and JB the game would boot but at the load screen it would draw some message about wrong android version (in Japanese), so this wasn't an Android OS error but some strange check by the game itself. Second, it would ask for a username and password which was used to quickly check-in with the Banadroid market. Obviously, my legit credentials don't work anymore as that market is long since dead.
Anyways, long winded crap over. Please let me know any thoughts that industrious souls amongst you might have.
PS: I'll have to dig around more but I also recall having Civilization Revolution 1 and a few other games which were acquired from the Korean storefront.
would you upload the backup files? someone can make work on newest devices
